The crossdresser said he will be away from Instagram for some weeks to heal from his "facial feminization surgery ".

From next week, all international passengers must test negative for Covid-19 before they can travel into the country (United Kingdom).

Passengers arriving by plane, train or boat, including UK nationals, must do the test 72 hours before they leave their country.

The government said, the new control is to protect the country against the new strains of coronavirus.

UK Transport Secretary Grant Shapps that gives the traveling update said travellers can't travel if their result is not negative, even with a negative results, people coming from different countries that are not on the travel ban list must still be quarantine.

Grant Shapps say Government has made the test compulsory because of the new variant of the virus that spread in South Africa.

The UK list out the 11 african countries on their website and the ban will begin from Saturday, 9th January.

Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, on Tuesday, says only God can effectively “supervise” the border Nigeria shares with the Republic of Niger.

According to a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina, the President spoke while receiving in audience former Vice President Namadi Sambo, who heads ECOWAS Election Mission to the Republic of Niger.

A suspected armed robber was killed on Saturday night during a shootout with vigilante group in Ubiaja Town, in Esan South Local Government Area of Edo state.

It was said that the deceased and his gang members have been terrorising the community.

The robber met his waterloo when he and his gang went to rob the popular Ogbeide Hospital on Saturday night, December 5. A distress call was sent to the local vigilante group.

This nightmare-inducing video shows a woman spewing out a 4 feet (120 cm) snake from a place where it shouldn't have wandered into.

The incident took place at Levashi village in Dagestan, Russia, when the woman was sleeping in the yard of her home.

On feeling unwell, the woman went to the hospital and was put under general anesthesia after doctors realised there was an unidentified body in her stomach.

Apparently she could feel the snake moving around inside her after waking up.

A presidential candidate in the last general elections, Kingsley Moghalu, has warned the President, Muhammadu Buhari administration against the freezing of the ENDSARS protesters account.

The former Young Progressive Party (YPP) flagbearer noted that the move will backfire, describing it as unacceptable.

Kingsley, a former CBN Deputy Governor tweeted on Monday;

The MD of Lekki Concession Company, Abayomi Omamuwasan, has informed the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry that the Closed-Circuit Television camera of the company did not capture the shooting of peaceful #ENDSARS protesters by the Nigerian Army.


He informed the panel that the CCTV camera stopped recording due to the vandalism of some equipment and fire outbreak at the Lekki toll gate.

SaharaReporters had reported that Omamuwasan had earlier submitted a hard drive to the panel, saying it contained the incident that happened on October 20, 2020.

While further testifying before the panel, he said that the CCTV stopped recording around 8pm and did not capture the shootings.

He also said that the company had three(3) surveillance cameras located at Sandfill, Ikoyi Bridge and one at Chevron.

Omamuwasan told the panel;

"The surveillance camera didn't capture the shooting.

"It stopped recording around 8pm."

He added that the fire outbreak at the Ikoyi Bridge affected the CCTV cameras and it stopped recording.

Explaining the reason for the power outage, he insisted that the company complied with the curfew and asked staff to leave in adherence with the directive of the state government.

The Canadian Government has announced plans to bring in more than 1.2 million immigrants over the next three years in an effort to use immigration to boost the country's economic recovery from the impacts of COVID-19.


The announcement was made on Friday, October 30, by Immigration Minister, Marco Mendicino in Canada’s Immigration Levels Plans for 2021-2023.

Speaking at a news conference in Ottawa, Mendicino said the federal government aims to accept 401,000 new permanent residents in 2021, another 411,000 in 2022, and then 421,000 in 2023.

According to Mendicino, the numbers also aim to compensate for the shortfall this year due to the pandemic and represent about one percent of Canada's population.

He also stated that immigrants drive the population and economic growth that pays for vital programs such as health care.

"U.S. forces conducted a hostage rescue operation during the early hours of 31 October in Northern Nigeria to recover an American citizen held hostage by a group of armed men. This American citizen is safe and is now in the care of the U.S. Department of State. No U.S military personnel were injured during the operation," Pentagon spokesman Jonathan Hoffman said in a statement.

The mission, which was several hours long, was conducted by the Navy's elite SEAL Team 6 who were flown to the region by Air Force special operations, a US official with knowledge of the operation told CNN.

The US forces who conducted the mission killed six of the seven captors, the official said. The US believes the captors have no known affiliation with any terror groups operating in the region, and were more likely bandits seeking money.

The State Department confirmed earlier this week that a US citizen had been abducted in Niger.

Local media outlets reported that the US citizen was a male missionary. CNN has not been able to confirm the citizen's identity.

The governor of the local region where the abduction took place was quoted in various local media and by French media reporting from Niger as saying that six men on motorbikes armed with AK-47s came to the man's property in the village of Massalata, close to the border with Nigeria.

The Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Mohammed Adamu, has advised police officers across the country to protect themselves against attacks.

The Management of the Lekki Concession Company (LCC) has disclosed that it is ready to show the footage of Lekki toll gate shooting.

This was made known by the agency's Head of the Legal Department, Mr Gbolahan Agboluwaje who appeared before the Lagos State Judicial Panel of Inquiry for Restitution for Victims of SARS and related abuses and Other Matters on Friday October 30. He also disclosed that there are hours of recordings on the CCTV footage.

Commenting on summons of presenting the October 20 footage, an investigation report and any other document, Agboluwaje stated that no investigative report or document is available.

He said;

“LCC is prepared to air the footage before the panel” but no investigative report or document is available.

“We have the footage. We do not have an investigation report because we know that investigations are ongoing and we have not been able to provide any document.

“We had a very short notice and we brought what we were able to lay our hands on."

The Head of the Legal Department of LCC who also disclosed the Managing Director of LCC, Abayomi Omomuwa would not be able to testify due to the short notice, said this was because the company was yet to hire an external counsel to represent the MD.

The Federal Government of Nigeria has commenced plans to cut down the cost of purchasing internet data in the country.



According to Umar Danbatta the Executive Vice Chairman, EVC, of the Nigeria Communication Commission, the Ministry of Communication and Digital Economy is planning to reduce the cost of data from N1,000 to N390 per gigabyte.

To achieve subsidized data cost, according to Mr Dambatta, the country must provide pervasive broadband data infrastructure.

“Actually the cost has come down to N1,000/gigabyte of data, but the government is saying that we should be targeting N390 in the next 3 to 5 years.

“We need pervasive broadband data infrastructure because at the landing point in Lagos, where we have all the submarine cables. You know, that is why we have them. There is the main cable, 133, West African Sea Cable (WASC). And there is the other one which Glo company is trying to deploy.

“This, combined, have data capacity of 40 terabyte. This data capacity is at the landing point in Lagos. That is from the coast, where there is ocean. Until and unless you move this massive 40 terabyte data capacity into the hinterland because the undersea cables are terminating in Lagos.

“Hinterland consists virtually all the major cities of the country and the 774 Local Governments of Nigeria. Through this way you will be meeting demands for data with appropriate or commensurate supply of data. This is how it will enable Nigerians to pay less data tariff.

“But this massive capacity of data at landing cost can’t move itself. There is the need to build fibre cables that can carry this capacity to the hinterland.
