The Lagos State chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, has confidently revealed that the immediate past Lagos Governor, Babatunde Fashola has threatened to make classified documents containing details of fraudulent dealings and assassinations perpetrated by his predecessor and political godfather Bola Tinubu, public.

Fashola, according to a report that was on the State government’s website, spent N78.3m on his personal website and N139m to construct two boreholes at the Lagos House, Ikeja, when he was governor.

There had been speculations that the reports were being sponsored by Tinubu as part of efforts to discredit him and deny him the opportunity of being appointed a Minister by President Muhammadu Buhari.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, Lagos State Chapter has descended heavily on a Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, chieftain, Bode George for daring to call on President Muhammadu Buhari to investigate and probe the former Governors of Lagos State, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Babatunde Fashola.

In the end, there is no way to divorce Fashola from Bola Tinubu. They are both lined in unutterable complicity, George had said.

If Fashola stands today in tarnished allegations, Tinubu, his godfather, cannot possibly distance himself in innocent escapism.

The All Progressives Congress, APC, has admitted that the Director of State Security Service, DSS, Daura Lawal was actually a member of the APC security outfit during the last general election despite claims he had no affiliation with the party.

The PDP, Wednesday, disclosed that Daura was a card carrying APC member recruited to bend the rules in favour of the President’s party.
