Number (2) answer with an immediate effect because such question ain't worthy enough to cause an argument....if government fixes the price of a commodity either above or below the equilibrium , every force of demand and supply won't be applicable anymore. The consumers are compelled to buy such commodity at the fixed price. Government intervention in price fixing artificially kills the natural forces of demand and supply aka the invisible hand....so please minimum price legislation brings about an increment in price.

yes u ar right because producer will not hav the incentive to produce, this will make the quantity supply so low that buyer who sees it will want to buy no matter the price, if in the case of minimum wage raise, it will result in unemployment as employer will dismiss the incompetent workers .
