I applied for Law OAU first choice, I got 226 UTME, 284 Post UTME and I am from Kaduna State. How many candidates are from catchment and Educationally Less Developed States? Post your your scores and state let's discuss!

Hello Nairalanders, this thread is created for those who applied for law in OAU for 2012/2013 Session. The essence of this is to post our UTME and Post UTME scores and State of Origin and make projections on official cut-off marks, admission possibility, share information and render necessary assistance to one another. Consequently, if you applied for law in OAU post your scores (UTME & Post UTME) and state your State of Origin. Invitation is also extended to all law students in OAU, any nairalanders etc who got relevant information to share. Let's go aspiring lawyers!

am_sage: Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife has
released the result of the post-Unified Tertiary
Matriculation Examination held (UTME) on
Saturday. Seven thousand six hundred and
sixty-three applicants out of 35,823 applicants
who sat for the entrance screening exercise
scored 200 and above, while only 51 candidates
scored 300 and above.
A statement by the university Public Relations
Officer, Abiodun Olarewaju, also showed that
three candidates, Ogunlade Stephen Tayo (UME
form No: 25457115HI/32882), Kolapo Ismail
Abidemi (UME formNo: 26328328HJ/15158) and
Ayansola Oluwaseun Joshua (UME form
No:2604698BH/13940) exhibited exceptional
academic brilliance in the screening exercise by
scoring 337, 335 and 332, respectively.
While Ogunlade Tayo wanted to study
Biochemistry, Kolapo Abidemi wants to study
Medicine and Surgery, while Ayansola Joshua
wants to read Law.

When is OAU releasing the cut off marks? I got 226 in UTME and 284 in Post UTME. I applied for Law. Is it a good score?

Idacrux: @jeroban oau apply negative marking imagine my maths i ought to got 70 or above but they gave me 47,physics 64 or above gave me 35 and so on......

eyaaa the Lord is your strength. I just checked mine now. I got 284 aggregate and going for Law.

Idacrux: I'm not favour because of d negative marks oau is a heartless skul.how cn u xpect a science student like me doing math,phy,chem to pass in just 1 hour and no scientific calculator infact nothing special in d skul they just discourage and fustrate them all over there,thank my star i put them as a my second choice.

Does OAU actually apply negative marking in the post UTME exams?

Hello House, Please does anyone know when the NDLEA screening commencing? Is the screening going to be at state level? What is the mode of the screening? What is required of us? Response in this regard would be highly appreciated. Thanks.

Finally the CEOs and Executive Directors that have hitherto been systematically stealing depositors and shareholders' money by sharing money among themselves in the form of loan which they will later fraudulently claim to be bad debts to the banks, have met their waterloo. I be live this is a step forward towards sanitizing the banking sector and restoring investors and depositors confidence again. I hope is going to be a continuous process and will also extend to other banks that are found wanting of any mishap.

One more thing I will actually love Sanusi to do is to investigate the rationale behind excessive, unnecessary and unexplainable deductions and charges some of these banks do. One of the banks known for this fraudulent and evil activity with headquarters in Marina, charges you for almost everything and funny enough without any genuine reason. I guess they even charge you for going into the banking premises, hall, Ac's etc

Something urgent ought to be done and this should be wholestic and sincere and absolutely devoid of any witchunting or victimization and politics.
