Leave him to be mouthing anyhow. It's already set to break October's opening record previously held by Venom. It's doing fine even with the detractors.

So many people wanted this movie to fail but it will be a success

DC retards won't take long to blame Marvel for Joker tanking

Joker made 13 million dollars on Thursday's preview. That is a very strong indicator of box office success

I generally don't like Chris Nolan as a film maker. He seems to try too hard to come across as intelligent or impress his film viewers.Apart from Memento and Insomnia his other movies are a no-no for me

Inception no?

If you wanted to see the themes you would have. You dont need my directions.Marvel movies are a mix of various genre.Marvel have perfected superhero movie-making.DC haven't.For goodness sake the earlier DCEU movies were a bore and tryhard even I can't stand the Chris Nolan trilogy.Everyone in the world isn't miserable and looking for a fix

This is anti DC bias. Pure and simple.

I am neither a DC fan or a marvel fan. When I see a good movie, i admit it.

You do it ALL the time. This is not about ishilove, it is about your general attitude. Most of the time when the thread has degenerated into a battlefield of insults, the first trigger is usually a comment by you.

Was the first trigger in this situation me?

And you forget all the marvel and dc fights that dont involve me. Or the numerous gay insults I receive while minding my business.

At this point, you are a hypocrite

They are detractors of marvel movies. Many fans of DC characters movies seem to erroneously believe using the term "dark" for their movies connotes "maturity" or "mature themes" .As if marvel movies dont also have mature themes in them. From dealing with a surveillance state, racism,PTSD,even human extinction

I believe that you are 100 percent wrong on this one.

Marvel films do not explore dark themes. At best they just "glance" through them.

I dare you to give me an example of these marvel films you are talking about.

Lets remove bias from this issue.

A fast swimmer is not necessarily a fast runner.

Martin Scorsese is not someone who does superhero movies or action comedies on a regular. He is just talking about a genre of movies that he has no relevance or experience in.

Joker (2019) 7.5/10

This movie is a real descent into madness. So many layers and so many themes.

1. The lack of effort on the American govt to provide mental health services.

2. Classism- rich vs poor. Note the similarity and reference to the class struggle in the dark knight rises.

3. Violence and revolution.

So much stuff I could write about the movie

Why should any reasonable educated human being read the details of the movie below and not know it is two movies fused into one.

Las las, I go school no mean say person go get common sense.

Stop feeling smart over irrelevant things. I didn't read the synopsis and so I didn't know that it was two old movies.

Anyway, my data is unlimited and so, no problem. I download so much stuff that I dont even watch.

Funny you fell bait for that, Seeing as the names are kinda similar to the 2018/19 releases.

As I saw the poster for the movie I jakpa straight up, it was like Deja vu. I knew it was a combination of the two part film : Death of Superman and Reign of the Supermen.

The blood of my mb will haunt DC. They are mad. Repackaging old wine in a new bottle. Bastards

Its only a poor man who think the way you think, frustration is killing you I guess, the owner of this show took is time to create this show for him to make money for himself by entertaining viewers, why not do the same by creating yours to make money for yourself.NO BE BY FORCE TO WATCH AM AND THEY AINT FORCING YOU TO VOTE AS WELL OR TALK ABOUT THE SHOW

The irony is that you are the one suffering from poverty of the mind.

Every piece of art can be subject to criticism. You cannot argue that the op should not comment on the show because he doesn't like it.

The death and return of superman (2019) 7/10

DC is mad. They repackaged two old films as one new one.

The animation was good but I didn't realise that I had seen the movie as two separate movies.

My old man considers movies to be a waste of time that will rot your brain and make you stupid.

A lot of CEOs and hyper successful people feel the same about TV in general.

I had colleagues that considered Nairaland a useless time sink ( and I kind of agree with Them)

One could look at you and say the same thing in regards to your own interests.

Ah but unlike most opinions about TV shows, I have facts and figures to buttress my point.

A 2012 survey by Today.com found that Americans who watch reality television regularly are more extroverted, more neurotic, and have lower self-esteem than those who do not

In this study, Riccio concluded that reality TV causes problematic behaviors in people, especially towards the younger generation.

Football. Recolonized yobs
Movies. Lazy dunces in search of mindless valueless entertainment
Nairaland lazy semi literate gen x ers who want to comment first

All these pseudo intellectuals are just a case of my poison better pass your own.

BBN is an interesting social experiment that should be of interest to psychologists. I never thought I would see the sort of empty soulless idoltary you see in western nations , but here we are. And it is for mere housemates locked in a cage like lab rats for three months. For all you know, Seyi may have opted for Bbn to kick off a political career. He can gat the youth vote, or maybe not.

AntiBrutus:

Well said. I remember someone said then that only intelligent people watch GOT. Like what da fck?

All these pseudo-intelligent people sef. We have all chosen our poisons. Let us be grin

I am yet to find an intelligent defence of BBNAIJA.

Facts are facts. Reality TV is the opium of the masses.

The argument that BBNAIJA is a valid social experiment is a dead argument on arrival. Big brother has been.done to death in developed countries and it continues to lose viewership.

There is nothing new to learn from the social experiment. It has been done to death in better ways by developed countries. Why do we copy rubbish?

The UK version of big brother has continuously fallen over the years. From 5 million viewers to currently one million viewers.

The only thing comparable to reality tv is commercialised rap where the most ridiculous rap artists get pushed because controversy and crazy sell. Also sexy videos also sell. Opium of the masses.

I repeat, that the only intelligent watchers of this bbn show are thos who watch it ironically.

Because they don't want to be perceived as dumb. The poster above me just said it is aimed at less intelligent people. I guess once I stop watching it, my IQ will peak.

It doesn't work that way.

Majority of the people watching BBN were already IQ challenged before watching it. The show is aimed at them. They will still be IQ challenged after the show ends.

The only intelligent BBN watchers are those who watch it ironically. Its basically a guilty pleasure for them......watching bad tv and laughing at ot.
