The above Bible verse is a proof that there are physicians (doctors) during the time of Jesus in Israel.

Those physicians in Israel definitely used medicinal herbs and plants to treat their patients.

For example, washing our teeth, applying lotions to our body, relaxing our hair, working out etc.

Jesus didn't use herbs or drugs for his illness doesn't mean we can use them.
At least he never condemned consulting a physician or the use of herbs and drugs.

And the last time I checked, the last healing miracle Jesus did was before his death.

After the death of the apostles of Christ, who has been healing Christians all over the world till today?

And before Jesus came to the world, who had been healing the Jews and the Israelites?

Why didn't Paul faith heal Timothy of his stomach illness, why prescribe alcohol for him?

Using herbs and drugs for my wellbeing is not sin.

Medicines are made from natural ingredients like plants so there is no treatment whatsoever without medicines made from either these three:
Ewé ~ leaves of a plant
Egbò ~ root of a plant
Èpo ~ stem peels of a plant

Mankind never knew any of these from the beginning because by the time Adam and Eve were created on this planet they were perfect and they never got sick so they don't need any treatment, that's why they can't think of the use of medicines. But after their generation their progenies began falling sick and dying young unlike Adam's generation that lived above 900 years. That's what led mankind into making research on how to boost their immune system for durability.
Of course the fallen angels (demons) enticed humans with the knowledge of treatment of our deteriorating bodies that's expiring faster than that of our ancestors. That is the origin of MEDICATION!

So by the time God gathered the children of Israel together as His own chosen nation He gave them rules on hygiene unlike the demons who wants humans to fall sick so that they may run to them for help Jehovah doesn't want His own worshipers to suffer from sickness so He instructed them on how to be conscious of hygiene. Despite that there are pandemics that do come with natural causes so God's people needs to know how to treat themselves without having to contact pagans who depends on what demons teaches, that's why God taught them how to make use of plants:
And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it. Exodus 12:8

God's people have spent countless years in Egypt (pagan nation) already so they had the partial knowledge of the use of HERBS but now it's their God Himself that's teaching them how to make use of HERBS directly therefore they know from that moment that there is power in the use of HERBS.

To distinguish between natural use of HERBS and SPIRITISM that's why God gave them laws that will help them to avoid dealing with demons:

For your information, it's the pagan traditions throughout the world that gave birth to all the tablets, capsules and injections used in treating people in hospitals till today!

This is where WISDOM comes in, how do we make use of their knowledge without having to deal with demons? That is why God gave us laws:

But most of you are already into paganism unknowingly worships demons because you don't know how to distinguish between right and wrong. When you travel to foreign nations like India for treatment do you think it's Jesus' name they use when preparing their medications? Or when you make use of medicines produced by pharmacists do you think it has nothing to do with SPIRITISM?
