Famz, I’ve seen hilarious things people can’t sleep without. As for me, I can sleep beside a parrot, halogen lamp, on spiked trees etc, yes I’m that bad with sleep.

1. The sound of fan: I know of a lady sometimes back who spent the night in my living room during the winter. Asked me if I have fan, it’s an obvious NO since it’s winter. The next thing she did was to google “fan sounds”, and that was until she fell asleep!

2. Masturbation/sex: a weird guy once told me, if he doesn’t release, it’d take him 2-3 hours to fall asleep...really?

3. Movie: some don’t actually want a movie to watch, but few minutes into the movie, they are off to dreamland.

4. Absolute darkness: majority of people are known to sleep only in absolute darkness while a few are opposites of this. They can only sleep when the bulb is shining.

5. Absolute unclothedness: some will never fall asleep as long as a piece of clothing is on them; it doesn’t matter if it’s as small as their handkerchief...

To add to it, even in their subconscious state when they are fast asleep, if you cover them with duvet/bedsheet, they’ll throw it off either asleep or awake.

6. Music: it’s the pathway to dreamland for many people. This is a known truth.

7. Weed/Cigarette/beer: this might seem impossible to the ears but it’s true. Some have graduated to hard drugs due to bodily resistance to the aforementioned.

8. Pirintin: I think it’s been banned right now but back in the days, this was necessary for some people to get a quality night sleep...

The other time, after (I still call it Tarry Night) Night of Bliss, 5am, they say no one should step out till 6am. Well they did say for security reasons but I never attended any night program again
