I disagree, especially at the person who said all applications are processed in Ghana.

I also have CALA in my tracking number and the text I got says my application has been sent to the canadian visa office Lagos.

I got a call from them recently to confirm some info in the application and it was from a Lagos landline and I googled to confirm it was real and the address that comes with that landline is their Lagos office. So yea some applications are actually processed in Lagos or so I think.

I'm still yet to get a medical call up tho. Submitted online 30th of June. Fingers crossed.

Glory to God. I was delayed yesterday based on four reasons:
Insufficient funds, travel history, personal asset, and family ties in Canada n Nigeria.

Truth be told, this CIC style of processing applications for months is the worst ever. They need to review it. Na their mate be USCIS.

So, after rejoicing with you guys and my family for 1 weeks, I received a shocker. Lol! I'm still trying to recuperate. This is a very bad feeling.
All guys expecting TRV, my candid advise, to avoid hypertension, kindly prepare for the worst.
If you have been called for medical, pls, know that that DOESN'T guarantee a TRV.
This is my story.

I've applied for a UK student visa 4 times be4 in a few mnths be4 resumption in September and was refused 3 times I didn't relent I kept on and got it the 4th time and got permission from my school to resume a week late which was granted. Shaaaa, by force by tulas I made it that Sept. even immigration at the point of entry wey wan buga me say school don resume I show them letter of permission to resume at the time I dey resume.

In conclusion, don't give up just dey fire dey go with God on ur side u'll get it except of course it wasn't meant to be at all... cheers

@Haustralia thanks for ur response as well. I guess some peeps misunderstood u, but I get what u mean, it's safer to wait for a medical request in order to prevent issues as well as saving costs in case u are refused a TRV.

My application route was online.
I did an upfront medical on June 8, hospital confirmed submission on June 10.
Biometrics on June 15
Medical mail July 22
Confirmation of medical mail(with upfront slip and CIC medical form attached)
sent by me to CIC as directed by the clinic on July 22 night.

***Till now, no medical update from CIC.
Pls, who else has been/is in this situation?
I'm more anxious now than I was for 5weeks waiting for my app to get to this stage.

Hi, I also went the online route, submitted 28th got biometric request the next day and had it done by 30th.
Now, my question is this, can u Pls explain the upfront medical part. Did u go ahead with the medicals without getting a request to do so? I didn't know that was possible. Hope I'm not dulling here waiting for a mail requesting for medicals.

There is power and life in those words which will change us and bring alive our spirit man and connect it back to God the true vine and we it's branches. The word of God is Jesus.

We shouldn't seek to do good and be good or purify our thoughts by ourselves cos our righteousness is like filthy rags before God. The bible says all our help cometh from the Lord! Halleluyah!
We need help from Him to have a renewed and pure mind which is pleasing and acceptable to Him, we can never achieve that by ourselves. He has provided that Help with His word which renews us as we study with the Holy Spirit.
Self righteousness will take you to hell! Be warned! Using logic to understand and analyse the things of the spirit is laughable especially when you guys tried to analyse the concept of immaculate conception and tried to use science to explain it that a spirit must have slept with Mary to bear the messiah. It is not for us to know how God went about it afterall when he said let there be light and there was light, did He carry matchstick to create the light or did he grab 2 stones n dry grass and rubbed to get light.
