Singapore Post is an economy shipping method and are very slow. You can't compare it to AliExpress Standard shipping method.

Don't panic, your parcel will get to your post office between 30-40days after shipment. I'm speaking from experience.

Despite their high exchange rate, I still prefer Chipper cash. Reasons;

1. The Chipper cash withdraw rate is ₦742.5 while klasha is around ₦640. And you can withdraw all the dollar in your Chipper cash USD card, but on Klasha $1 must remain there permanently.

2. All transactions on Chipper cash are free, no hidden charges, no stamp duty. But klasha charge for transfer and others.

3. You can create your Chipper USD card free of charge and can deposit any amount even $0.01, but klasha required minimum of $5 to create your card.


4. Chipper Cash has more than 4 million users with playstore 4.3 rating, while Klasha has less than 100 thousand users with 3.8 playstore rating.

while black market rate is ₦755/$1

All those prices that you saw on AliExpress in naira (₦) price tag are not the real price of that goods, because it was rated at ₦455/$1.

So, if you want to see the real price;
Go to settings and change your currency to dollar ($). Then you'll understand what I'm saying. All your payment on AliExpress are in dollar ($) not naira (₦).

Phone is not cheaper on AliExpress, unless you're paying with Local bank debit card which is no more working.

It depends on his location. I have compared both prices and I preferred buying from local. Again, you may end up buying another country version (i.e Chinese version).

I will advise you never to buy phone from AliExpress. It's either you buy a fake phone or it will very expensive comparing to high black market dollar exchange rate.

It clearly has'nt been shipped. Also, the sellers page and item are no longer available. I have gotten refund from Aliexpress before but it did not take 60 days na and that one, the seller could still be contacted. Why 60 days? . Anyway, I am waiting to see the open dispute link.

You can open a refund dispute 15days after placing an order. But AliExpress will keep on postponing the dispute till about 50-60days before they approve it.

When buying anything online, it's not 100% safe until you receive your parcel and confirm it.

From my experience on AliExpress, some of this tracking numbers are not genuine most especially when you cannot access the shop or the item page that you purchased from.

Always avoid shops without name, for example;

Shop1100065444 store
Shop5002175444 store
etc.

Most of them are scammers.

please what do you think would likely happen in my case scenario? I ordered a graphic tablet from a shop on Aliexpress just yesterday (via my sisters Aliexpress account). This morning, on my Aliexpress account , when I click on the items page, it shows unavailable and even the sellers shop link doesnt open up. Even the tracking that showed available prior to purchase is now showing unavailable.

Do you think they would deliver the item as seller and item is no longer appearing on aliexpress?
Whats the worst case scenario?

The tracking info sometimes, take 2-3days to be updated. Then regarding to Shop and item unavailability; from my experience, the shop might not be genuine.

NOTE:- You can always filled a refund dispute 17days after placing an order, if you suspect the seller is a scam. There's nothing to worry about.
