Yes! The slight difference is that the one that I bought here in Nigeria doesn't have TIMED DIGITAL DISPLAY and TIMER SWITCH.

But what did you write on the dispute? Because it matters a lot, plus a video evidence is important too.

Do the following to support your dispute : take a video recording of the parcel while you're unboxing it. Ensure that the recording captures every detail of items in the box, and also reveal that the item in the box/ parcel is an IPhone (showing the model ) and not Samsung s21 ultra. Power on the phone to show the apple logo.

Next, go back to your chat with the seller and take a screenshot of every discussion you had with him in respect of Samsung phone (you can upload up to 6 pics as evidence in the dispute page)
Also, go to the order page and screenshot the details of the Samsung phone and upload it as well. You can make use of screen writers to highlight important information in the pictures before uploading them.

I would like to add further that in addition to the recording in the first step, you need to take a snapshot of the iPhone and write "Iphone 12"on it with the screen writer. Do the same for the Samsung and upload them side-by-side.

Finally, since you've made up hour mind not to return the item, then you have to reject the seller's proposal and ask for refund only. But in this scenario, you may not be fully refunded. That means you have to settle for partial refund. Well, you can try your luck.

Your first mistake is choosing RETURN and REFUND . You should have choose REFUND ONLY.

You have to find a means and return it. That's the only available option that AliExpress will offer you. Good luck!!

The bolded, I don't think so. Even after winning a dispute, the seller will still rate me 5 star. What seller hate most is after you won a dispute and got a refund, you still went ahead and rate them 1 Star.

Many at time, seller sent me wrong item or broke item. I have to apply for a refund. I usually choose REFUND ONLY . No time to return anything.

Nobody knows it all. But I have never lost any dispute to a seller. I have won about 15 disputes in the past 8 months. Here are some tips:-

1. Before you open your parcel, you have to mount your video camera to record everything incase something go wrong.

2. Record and edit the video to suit your dispute. I'm a good videographer.

3. When opening a dispute, take it as you are going to court. Gather proofs and evidence possible, be it picture, shipping info or video.

4. Get a stand. I mean stand by what you say. You can't be saying "You have a feeling that the phone might develop more fault in the future."

You can say "this phone is faulty and not functional. That it is not what you agreed with the seller. That you need you full Money back."

5. Never accept any offer from the seller until AliExpress step-in. Nobody want to lose, even the seller.

What I'm paying for is not even CHOICE item. It just usb bulb that I don't even need. I was just using it to test the card.

I was planning to use this Gotok to pay for this SanDisk Ssd, if I confirmed it working.

But I was disappointed.

God bless you for this your comment! Prople need to know that Gotok is not enforced on anybody, and making use of the platform is purely a personal decision.
Personally, I've tried a couple of other fintech platforms but come to the conclusion that gotok beats them hands down. That is why I stick to it and can also recommend it to anybody.

Like you said, I've discovered that one can get dollar on Binance at a rate cheaper that even the cheapest rate at any point in time ( you must possess the know- how)

Besides, am also aware that as a beginner, one pays a certain amout as fee for conversion of usdt to busd. But with time, the conversion becomes free ( that is my personal experience – had 21 usdt converted to BUSD for free yesterday).

In addition, the only time I appealed my card was when my payments for a particular item were declined severally. Later I got to know that the problem was not with the card , but Aliexpress. They didn't want me to buy that particular item — a choice item with fantastic reduction in price.

Talking about customer support, I can vouch that they have one off the best supports ever because I've had the opportunity of chatting with them on 3 different occasions, and their response was prompt. Those were the times I had the payment challenge I made mention above.
....... Until I see a better option, Gotok remains my number one choice.

But AliExpress Keep on demanding for an Appeal, but when I opened the appeal page, I will not see the Gotok card among all the cards that I have used on AliExpress so the I will select it and submit the appeal.

I left this Binance pay for crypto people ,I simply do bank transfer and now chipper rate is 795😂🤭,if you don’t have a plug for crypto p2p you can leave all those hassle and just fund through bank transfer and you can create 2 different cards (one for multiple use and one for just Aliexpress shopping ).

MY EXPERIENCE, FUNDING MY GOTOK CARD WITH BINANCE PAY

I have been seeing so many Gotok praisers here telling us to sign up with Gotok. That we can fund their card at cheaper rate of ₦755 per $1 or less.

It's all lies. Here is my experience today while doing so.

I purchased dollar at Binance this afternoon at the rate of ₦754.9 for $1.

I dedicated my ₦4,000 for this practical. With the ₦4000, I got $5.29 on my Binance USDT.

Then, login on my Gotok to top-up my visual USD card using Binance pay. I have to convert my USDT to BUSD. On the process, I was charged $0.095 and the money remain $5.19.

Gotok charges me 0.01% for topping up card and Binance charges 0.007% for conversation of USDT to BUSD.

I was left with $5.19.

Whereas, I should have just use Klasha or Chipper cash at the rate of ₦780 or ₦770 without any hustle.

4,000÷780 = $5.13

So because of $0.06, I have to go to all these stress in order to fund my card.

And at moment, $1 must remain on my card and can't be withdrawed. If you create a card with bank transfer, you cannot fund it with Binance pay and if you create a card with Binance pay, you cannot fund it via Bank card or transfer. So funny!

The worst of it all is that I cannot use the Gotok card to pay for anything on AliExpress. They will ask me for an Appeal, but when I opened the appeal page, I will not see the Gotok card among all the cards that I have used on AliExpress. When I want to withdraw my money back. I was left with just ₦2,900 out of the ₦4,000 that I invested.

I contacted their customer care, the system were telling me "We'll be back online on Monday". My first experience with Gotok.

I'm so disappointed!!

If you don't have crypto knowledge. Just use the option for Bank Transfer to create your card. It's very efficient and simple.

All this Gotok user didn't inform us that there is a processing fee while topping your card using Binance.

The Money is in your chipper cash card but invisible.

1. Contact their customer care to refresh your card for you.

2. Or Place an order worth of that amount using the card, it will go.

3. Or you top up the card to see all both your current amount, refund amount plus topped amount together.

Yes! I did it.
I waited for 30days, then SpeedAF scanned it for return. When it reached LOS-INT, I applied for a refund and was refunded.

NOTE: While opening a dispute, pay attention to the instructions. Choose TRACKED AS RETURNED/CANCELLED/LOST/HELD AT CUSTOMS

My own parcel was delayed and I decided to buy here in Nigeria due to time it was needed. You can try your luck as well. Good luck!!

Good day all. I made a purchase a while back on a AliExpress for a controller. The item was ordered on April 11. The EDD was the 7th of this month. It was shipped by the 15th and was stuck on departed from transit country till it was updated on the 5th and it now says arrived at linehaul office on the AliExpress tracking so what do I do from there. I’ve read up in the thread but I’m still a bit confused 😅. I’ve gone to other sites to track and attached the screenshots. From the tracking number I know the package would be with NIPOST but I’ve not gotten a text, call or email from them. I emailed them today and await a response. Do I check their nearest office or still wait?

Don't worry! Your parcel is just arriving the country. You can check nipost office in next 2weeks.
