Left for me, I can meet the target achievement for the Kia Soul. But the challenge is that I want to work with 3 of my team members to achieve the car reward. START YOUR LOAN EXPEDITION

Some of the objectives we have for this program are:
1. To help members understand what it takes to get loans
2. To position members for getting loan on regular basis and when needed.
3. To assist members to cultivate the habit of savings as it helps in terms of getting loan and with repayment plan.
4. To ensure that members can start their home based business and expand the business.
5. To expose members to different available loans that can help them to grow financially.

There are different loan plans with the bank but we are starting with the GROUP as it is easy to get started with.

With the group, there is no need to bring collateral as each member becomes guarantor and collateral for the other member.

The bank starts with N50,000.00 to N100,000.00 loan. Though, the money may be small for some individuals but don’t forget that it is loan without collateral and since they don’t previously know you or have your loan history, they also ensure they minimise the risk of starting with a large amount of money with anybody.

This is also part of what you want to learn in our community. You want to start with small amount of money, build your credit history and rating and then you can be able to collect bigger amount of money over time.

With our Group, we have the target of getting loan by third week in March 2019. We want those that are serious and need the loan of about N50,000.00 to N100,000.00 immediately.

There are requirement which you MUST meet.
1. The bank wants to know what you do
2. You must get a guarantor, who can also be a member of the group while the group leader is the #1 guarantor for every other member of the group.
3. You will pay N2,000.00 to open account with bank.
4. You will pay N1,000.00 which is your contribution toward the management of the group. This is part of the money that will be used for production of SEAL for the group, transportation, Group KYC etc. (This is group contribution and it is not bank requirement)
5. You must save 10% of the money you want to get from the bank. For N50,000.00, your savings will be N5,000.00. For N100,000.00 your saving must be 15% and that is N15,000.00
6. You are expected to repay the money in 30 weeks.
7. The interest rate is 18%, that is N9,000.00. Which mean at the end of 30 weeks (seven and half months) , you will return N59,000.00 with savings.
8. You are expected to pay N2,500.00 weekly for your repayment.
9. At the end of the 30 weeks, you would have paid N75,000.00. N59,000.00 will be removed and the balance of N16,000.00 is your own savings which you can use to get higher loan.

Also note that you are not constrained within the 30 weeks, you can repay early and get another loan.

It means, you need to have about N8,000.00 to get started with this plan.

Don’t forget this loan is without collateral but you must have means of identification like drivers’ licence, national ID card or international passport.

You can use eCommerce as your business. We have been able to talk with the official and they said they support eCommerce.

But you must make sure you understand eCommerce or you have attended my training on eCommerce to be able to defend such profession.

GROUP REQUIREMENT

1. Create a group name.
2. A four man Exco should be formed which Will be made of the leader, Secretary,treasurer and chief whip. These are the people that will stand for the group.
3. Get a seal for the group
4. The grouping will be ten members at a time.(that is batches of 10 members in each group,eg RankTribe 1, 2 etc.
5. Group members must meet every week at a particular location on a particular day of the week for payment/repayment arrangements.
6. The group leader will visit each person's house for the KYC that will be presented to the bank.

INDIVIDUAL REQUIREMENT FOR REGISTRATION

1. Applicant will submit their Bank account details of any bank.
2. Submit 3 passport photographs of applicant
3. Submit 2 passport photographs of guarantor.
4. Valid ID card of applicant and guarantor (photocopies)

Individual Financial commitments:-
Applicant is expected to pay a total of #8,500 before disbursement, broken thus;
1. Registration fee - N2,000(#1,650 will be used for manual, folders and other materials by the bank, balance of 350 carried forward as savings)
2. Disbursement fee - N1,500
3. N5,350 - savings for 2 weeks

Other fees:-
Annual dues by the bank - N1,200 (not immediately)

GROUP LOAN
The type of loan I'll discuss for this program is group loan. Many MFB have group loans for individuals SMEs. Some of the banks I shared above have arrangement for group loans. So for the purpose of this project, those interested will have to join a group for loan application. There will be basic requirements to participate in our Osusu Investment Group Loan arrangement.

What you should understand is that, when borrowing without collateral, the banks will want you to build a good credit history before they borrow you bigger money.

Some may request that you save a particular percentage of the loan you are requesting before disbursement. Majority though may not ask.

As you build your credit history, you'll be able to borrow as high as N2MILLION without collateral with many of the MFB.

There are many state based MFB and you should check them out too. And of course LAPO seems to be leading the pack. The one I have for this presentation will be discussed later.

UNSECURED LOAN
Unsecured loan is usually faster to get. You can get it in minutes, hours, days or weeks. In most cases, penalty for defaulting could be a negative remark about your credit history. This may affect your ability to get loan from some institutions in the future. Before you apply for any loan, always ask questions about policy, charges especially hidden ones. The banks are always eager to lend the money but you should understand the terms involved. There are many Micro Finance Banks under the unsecured loan arrangement.

There are loans with collateral or guarantors and many without guarantors or collateral. Even if you are an existing borrower with good history, some banks will still borrow you money. There are some MFB that accept car or gold as collateral, in which case you'll have to deposit the asset.

There are many loans you can get online without collateral and some of them will give you up to 2 million Naira or more when you maintain good credit standing. In fact, most credit officers are looking for people to borrow money to meet their target.

There are two categories of loans namely secured and unsecured.


1. SECURED LOAN
Secured loan is usually taken by people who want to buy car, build a house, build an asset or for business startup. The lending institution will request for collateral. If you default, they may seize your collateral.

The advantage of this type of loan is that the interest is usually small and the duration for payment is usually long and flexible. It can be up to 5 years depending on what you want to use the loan for.

For the purpose of this Presentation, I'll not be focusing on this type of loan for now. There are two categories of loans namely secured and unsecured.

Every time I see people complain that they don't have money to start a profitable business, I think about how they are missing important opportunity using investment loan. If you find yourself in the same situation, one way to get the money needed is to borrow it. An investment loan can provide you with what you need to buy and fix up a property, or start or grow your existing business. Here’s what you need to know.

What is an investment loan?
“These are loans designed to help you fund a potentially profitable project." They can be a great tool to help you fund the growth of your company or your wealth.

Some of the most common uses for investment loans include:

✔ Buying an investment property (usually meant for rentals or commercial businesses)
