Thundafireseun: Amelica that can shook mouth and head and leg in world elections… including sending Delegates to monitor elections…
Suddenly doesn’t approve Putin to have a favourite candidate??
This story no too clear
Not only that, the Democrats are in support of letting undocumented immigrants to cast their votes in US elections. They voted against the use of voters ID and voter accreditation in US elections.
Does he have power to choose who to handover to outside INEC winner declaration?
Covert Tyrant
yes. he has such power just like Wike handed over rivers votes to his interests (Tinubu and Fubara) in Rivers state and he got rewarded with FCT minister. Till date, no body has punished him for that.
Because of lack of preservation that's why you see powder milk everywhere
I didn't see powder milk throughout my staying in foreign white man country you only have to see raw milk in can,
There is a lot of fake powdered milk and sugar here in Nigeria Nafdac has failed Big Time
To preserve raw milk, you need to put it in a fridge at 4 degrees Celcius or below. Most Nigerians don't have power to do that that's why. I bet the place you lived abroad have constant power and the milk was taken from a fridge when it was sold.
helinues: Pay their debt or continue staying in darkness
The money both private and government sector are owing electricity company in Nigeria , if just 50% of it would be retrieved, that would solve whatever issue with our epileptic electricity
The real issue here is the electricity tariff. But if I talk now dem go come for my head.
CyrusVI: Did you even read the content of the news at all?
Tinubu was in charge in 2016? And you expected the President to automatically know about a dealing that happened between Ogun state and a private firm for as back as then?
Jeez... You guys keep giving us reason to question the quality of Education in your region
It's is a shame on Tinubu because he's the current president and he's the one who ordered A330. He was expecting it to be delivered this year. The other jets were put on sale by his administration and they were seized. It's also a shame to the Nigerian people.
mu2sa2: Chai! clapping, singing and dancing away at a place meant for sport. Una well done o.
FG is looking for revenue. The religious bodies pay better thats why they give it out to them. perhaps Nigeria may consider scrapping all sporting fedrations if money is all that matters. if we dont want that to happen, Nigerians who love cycling may consider paying for cycling events. keep in mind that Football in Nigeria doesn't earn money.
Keegan: Leave them alone. Their mode of reasoning is very faulty.
Nevertheless, Team Nigeria has recently concluded their campaign in Paris 2024 with zero medals. That makes this Olympics performance on par with London 2012.
Zionmdde: I just hope everybody will learn to mind their business Nobody is being deceived. His members know exactly what they are doing and even social media will not sway them. A lot of times people tend to stick where they can get hope. Because minus that hope that pastors and prophets give (fake or original) a lot of persons would have been dead by now.
He should be allowed to sell his goods in peace. Let those that buy it decide for themselves if it works or not. Afterall he is not putting gun to anybody head to buy
Keep quoting me. I am very unapologetic on what I said. Those adults in his church choose to be there and consume his products. In the eyes of the law you can't also prove the originality of anything termed "spiritual ". Because you can't also prove that you have fulfilled the terms of engagement
So in simple terms you can't cry more than the bereaved. If people feel happy going there let them continue.
The Issue is the man said the product (anointing water and whatever he sells) have NAFDAC number and VDM asked him to show the ingredients. I think that's what triggered prophet Funfeyin to sue for defamation. So when did NAFDAC start registering anointing water and other spiritual products?
huptin: The worst Olympic performance in recent history...not even one medal. I am not superstitious but it's difficult not to link Tinubu with bad luck....kilode.
One man takes over and everything good went bad and everything bad became worse...within a year o!
Too bad.
London 2012 was the worst one I know of. Zero medals. Nil. Zilch. We went there and came back with nothing.
Paris 2024 is not over yet. There is still little hope
Salewa97: Tinubu is not the cause of hardship; he's just the man at the helm during a complex time. The issues of unemployment and rising prices didn't start with him. Let’s be honest, every administration faces its challenges. Instead of begging for deliverance, we should focus on constructive dialogue and hold leaders accountable while supporting initiatives that uplift the people. Change requires collective effort, not just protests!
baba shut up your fucking mouth.
Who say subsidy is gone? who float the Naira? who's spending billions to renovate a house and trillions to build a fancy coastal road?
This one don pass protest, e be like say dem wan turn pikin to weapon.
Children suppose dey school, not for streets wey plenty wahala dey.
If dem no fit reason well, make dem no drag innocent pikin join their matter.
Stark illiterate spotted. First of all the girl complained that her dad can't pay her school fees because it's expensive so why should she be in school? Secondly, yesterday was Saturday and today is Sunday which child attend school on Saturdays or Sundays? you go school at all?
trutharena: It's about time someone said it! We need to learn to accept outcomes gracefully instead of always playing the blame game. Governor Dapo Abiodun is spot on; it's time to move forward and focus on building a better future for all of us.
You're just as dumb as Abiodun. Nigerians are protesting against hunger. They're not asking for regime change. But politicians always feel threatened when anyone protest.
Efap: If government house cannot pay the unrealistic bill, how do you expect the common man to meet up.
As at last year, I commented on one nairaland thread that people cannot afford N200 per kwh bill. When I say people I mean the working class Nigerians - I never thought of the rich 1 percenters Nigeria have because I think they're ok. But lo and behold, just 1 year later, the one percenters are struggling to pay light bills. You can see the response of one man on the screen shot. I wish I could reach out to him to ask if he can afford Band A electricity. Below is a link to the nairaland thread. https://www.nairaland.com/7723834/improved-electricity-lagos-targets-20hrs/4#123735910
alsudan: Check how he was recruited into the NIS, then you'll understand how that can happen.
Other than skill, faulty weapons could be an issue. Nigerian government is not known for giving their force personnel good equipment in great condition.
make Una stop this protest. it has already flopped. I'm ashamed. why should the government we are protesting against provide support for that protest. it is sounding more like a political party rally than a protest.
Jflex07: Lol. So they could reduce the price of rice all these while, but they refused, yet making Nigerians go through so much pain. Our politicians are really wicked and heartless. How does this even get to the common man? I don't trust these governors one bit.
Don't mind those idiots in Asshole rocks. All they care about is white elephant like coastal road, presidential private jet, vice president villa, dodan barracks all those bullshit that doesn't improve the lives of the masses. Come 2027 the eyes of Nigerians will open and nobody will fall for any propa ganda.
Why are the government owned refineries not working despite spending over $40 billion on maintenance since 1999? But Dangote is the monopolist and the only private owned refinery in Nigeria abi?
Una well done.
This narrative as represented by the screen shot you shared. Keep in mind that I want our refineries to work and I do not hate Dangote. Yes, there is corruption in NNPC, and all Oil and Gas regulatory agencies but Dangote own wan too much.
OkCornel: The government has four refineries that aren’t working despite consuming over $40 billion in maintenance costs between 1999-2024. More than twice the amount Dangote used to set up his refinery.
But Dangote is the monopolist. Yeah right…
Before you fall for the narrative that Dangote is trying to promote through the media I just want you to take a look at the facts. No European refineries will close simply because of Dangote. Case in point let's look at European airspace and Nigerian Airspace. When you see the map on flight radars you will see a lot of planes on the European Airspace but very few on Nigerian Airspace. What powers the planes? Oil. When you look at other industries like power and manufacturing etc. and compare it to Europe the difference is very big. Keep in mind Europeans have constant electricity, Nigerians don't. Don't let anyone decide us that European refineries will close because of a very small oil market like Nigeria.
Before you go and risk your neck for one Oga at the top, ask yourselves if you are as protected as that Oga at the top. We must learn a lesson.
this lesson applies mostly to those urchins used by politicians to start tribal hate and bigotry. It's now worth fighting for any politician. All of them just day fight for their belle.
yinkus6750: This isn't a good one. Even if the person is not performing? No criteria for performance evaluation? This is a highly sensitive position that has to do with securing and protection of the citizens life and properties.
the big flaw in this amendment is that if an incumbent president decide to appoint an IGP beyond his tenure (for instance if Tinubu appoints IGP beyond 2027 and he didn't win 2027 elections) will the IGP have the right to sue the FG if the new president decides to appoint a new IGP?
Jorussia: As somebody who has followed politics in Nigeria since 1999,it's painful that our politicians never learn.Obaseki is fighting to install Asue as governor, with selfish interest.
Installing governors in Nigeria is a complete waste of time, but our outgoing governors continue doing it.Obaseki is threatening to burn down Nigeria because of Asue that may not even pick his calls 3months into office.
everybody is selfish. even baba Oshomole is another culprit. The guy wanted to install his stooge in 2020 against Obaseki but Obaseki prevailed. Now, in 2024, he's trying to do the same thing with Shaibu. My own be say, make I get money make I rich. No polithiefcian is worth fighting for. All of them get their own selfish interest and propaganda way dem they use.
richiemcgold: With all the so-called gurus, engineers and technicians that dominate our universities, what's stopping them from generating independent power on their campuses? Do they lack the knowledge or what?
Can't they partner with international/private investors? What's the essence of having science and technology gurus, economists and financial experts in our universities when they can't use their so-called knowledge to source for technical/financial partners?
