There is a possibility that his election could be overturned so until the supreme court decides all election cases, these new lawmakers should rightly not have access to official cars. We don't want a situation where losers abscond with their cars if and when their elections are rescinded.

Ok. But prayers have already been sent this the accounts of national lawmakers. Furthermore, some Nigerians didn't see a problem with swearing in a presidential candidate whose victory is being challenged in court but they're now seeing that issue with lawmakers? Hmmmm.

Those guys control everything about oil, they prefer selling it to the west and importing refined products to Nigeria at the expense of your jobs. State govt have no say in oil business. How many rivers people are working in the oil industry? If you check very well, it is mostly people from outside the state that are the employed in the industry. During Buhari's tenure, it was the northerners and Yorubas, during Tinubu's tenure it will be mostly the Yoruba ronu people working there.

Please once you finish school go and hustle for money. Money is the Koko. Even the schools are looking for money. The lecturers are looking for money. Once you don hustle and are financially secure you can go to school and get married at the same time.

Unfortunately our constitution seems not to disqualify people with dual citizenship, where the person is a Nigerian by birth. As a matter of fact, it was because of that lacuna that Hamzat was emboldened to make that disclosure of dual citizenship prior to the election.

Guy, you'll always have alternatives; you can simply fuel your gen and use that instead if you feel the cost of steady electricity is too much for you or better still remain in darkness while those that value the development pay for it in peace, I'm sure nobody will beat you.

If Una go Ghana Una go say they better pass Nigeria because of their (very expensive) relatively stable electricity. Nigeria is gradually moving in the direction of providing stable electricity but the perpetual pessimists and wailers would have none of that. They must always find cause to wail.

The major reason why electricity is failing in Nigeria is that people want it, but they cannot afford to pay super high rates and you can't blame them that much. Nigerian workers don't earn much to be able to afford N200/KWh electricity. If they could, many people would be able to run petrol generators 24/7 without much conplain when the price was about N250. Don't say it's pessimism. It's just one of the uncomfortable realities plaging Nigeria.

For me, I'm happy such bill has been passed into law. It gives states the right to control their own energy resources instead of generating power in a place like Delta and sharing the whole thing to the silly national grid. Power generating states will be able to use all that power they degenerate for the development of their state. Which is good news. The next thing that needs to be done now is the decentralisation of rights to natural resources and collection of taxes (PIT and Sales taxes) . And that reminds me of Wikes case Vs FIRS. I don't know if that case have been thrown under the bus by APC ever since Sanwo Olu decided to join suit na so everything go offline.
