Simplyleo: Seems Gov Wike has zero tolerance for ipob lunatics.
May be he is also scared of disintegration which will stop free oyel money from the oyel rich East.
Lamidi cownu will soon come for him. It could be recalled lamidi cownu has severely dealt with mark Zuckerberg for deleting his handle from Facebook.
Wike own na walk over for ipob miscreants. |

Politics › Flush Out All ESN & IPOB Members Out Of Rivers State - Wike Orders The Military by JEWELofHELL(op): 6:56pm On Mar 24, 2021 |
The Chief of the Army Staff, Lt Gen Ibrahim Attahiru, has visited Port Harcourt, Rivers State where he held a meeting with Governor Nyesom Wike, who asked him to deal with criminals and the current security challenges in the state.
SaharaReporters learnt that Wike and his deputy, Mrs Ipalibo Banigo, met with the army chief only days after the dreaded operatives of the Eastern Security Network launched into Eleme forests to force out Fulani herdsmen who had reportedly taken over people’s farms.
“The governor and his deputy met with the army chief on a number of issues. Part of these is the request for the military to flush out the ESN and IPOB (Indigenous People of Biafra) irritants in his state. But he did mention in his remarks to the army that he was confident about Attahiru’s capability to tackle the current security situation bedeviling the country. That was a subtle go-ahead to deal with the gunmen in Eleme,” a source revealed.
The army chief too in his remarks was praising Wike for not tolerating or supporting the ESN, IPOB and other separatist groups which were all over the South-East but finding Rivers State impenetrable,” the source added.
The army confirmed in a release on Wednesday that the army chief was in Rivers State, while branding it a “familiarisation visit to units and formations in the Nigerian Army.”
“The Chief of Army Staff on Tuesday paid his maiden operational visit to Headquarters, 6 Division, Port Harcourt, where he charged the officers and soldiers to key into his vision to have an army which is repositioned to defeat all adversaries.
“The COAS also visited 6 Division and Land Component Soldiers of Operation Delta Safe at 29 Battalion parade ground, Port Harcourt Barracks. In his address to the troops on parade, he assured them of his readiness to properly address all the challenges they are facing and further disclosed that the GOC had already briefed him on some of the challenges which he assured them would be addressed in due time.
“He urged them to remain loyal and professional in the discharge of their duties and emphasised his readiness to commend outstanding soldiers, as well as punish those found wanting,” the army’s Director of Public Relations, Brig Gen Mohammed Yerima, said in a statement on Wednesday morning.
SaharaReporters had on Monday reported that ESN operatives were mobilising into the forests of the Eleme Local Government Area of Rivers State, to force out Fulani herdsmen who had reportedly taken over people’s farms.
Since Saturday, there has been tension in Agbonchia community in the Eleme LGA after Fulani herdsmen invaded the area, destroying farmlands and assaulting the residents.
SaharaReporters had on Saturday reported that the invasion started last Monday with residents deserting the area gradually due to the fear of the killer herdsmen, who reportedly also raped some women in the community.
Some of the residents had told SaharaReporters that a massive peaceful protest was carried out on Friday to force the attention of the state and federal governments to the community which is presently under herdsmen’s siege. http://saharareporters.com/2021/03/24/exclusive-wike-receives-army-chief-asks-him-tackle-esn-ipob-operatives-rivers

ivandragon: You are very right.
A lot of the moderators are intolerant of opposing viewpoints & are quick to issue bans without justification.
Or they ignore comments that provocated you into retorting but ban you while leaving the provocator to continue to gloat at his/her 'victory' in getting the biased moderator to issue a ban.
The most annoying is that when a person with opposing views is banned, they keep allowing the provocator to taunt the person by quoting the person & even bragging about the influence they have to ban such person...
Finally, this forum needs an 'ethnic/tribal' enforcement arm. The rate at which people resort to tribal slurs on unrelated topics is worrisome. God bless you for this. |

Vaughanlanrewaj: It's quite commendable to give compliments to someone doing a great job. Well done Dominique. I think it's also about maturity and patience to understand that the real reason this platform exists. Anytime I remember the romance mod banned me until 2033, I just wonder the state of mind of such individual who deletes a message and still bans someone for 12 years! That's preposterous and I am happy for level headed mods like Dominique. To destroy is easy, the hardwork is in building. The mod for romance should learn this or gets replaced. Well said! |
Politics › All Nairaland Moderators Should Emulate Dominique by JEWELofHELL(op): 10:25am On Mar 19, 2021 |
A mod banned me few days ago for a reason only God Almighty can comprehend.
What Seun Osewa doesn't realize is that such overbearing moderators are capable of ruining his business.
Why make someone who is incompetent, intolerant, uncreative and one-track minded a moderator? Why use quota system, rather than competence, to appoint moderators?
I can tell you for a fact that Dominique is the only competent moderator I know of - emphasis on "I know of".. I don't know the criteria Seun used to appoint her, but such criteria should be used to appoint all moderators. Too bad that the only thing majority of the mods know how to do well is to issue lengthy bans - they don't even know how to warn; hide threads and comments that are not in line with their bias - imagine, something Seun himself will never do.
They're not different from your wicked average managers, salespeople, etc.. They run your business as they like, abuse your customers, fight co-workers; do whatever they like, after all, it's not their business. So whether it succeeds or not is none of their business. Therefore, they put their ego and selfish interests above the interest of the business they manage.
MODERATION IS BEYOND BANNING MEMBERS
This is the area I commend Dominique. Below are characteristics of good moderators.
1. They are tolerant. They don't easily get butthurt. But majority of the mods here will ban you for the slightest provocation. Something even Kim Jong-un of North Korea would ignore.
2. They're impartial. How many mods here are impartial?
3. They are Responsive.. Have you ever been banned unjustly by the malfunctioning antispam bot before? You called the mods to help you, but they ignored, right? That's one of the major issues here.. So far, only Dominique resolves such an issue.
4. They respect members.. Good moderators respect members. But here, majority of them see themselves as mini-gods.
5. They have a good sense of humor.. I haven't seen any mod with this feature.
6. They are social..
7. They understand the rules.. This one is nearly absent here...Most of the mods don't know what they're doing. No clue.
8. They have patience and good understanding of human behavior.. This feature is non-existent here...
9. They're empathetic and thick-skinned. They don't get upset over trivial things..
10. They're humble and trustworthy..
AND SO MANY MORE... BUT I'LL STOP HERE...

Coronabirus: All of them deserve more than that, govt need to charge them for treason untill they exonerate themselves before competent court of law. The same people inciting them with words of courage to cause chaos in their country for alleged extra judicial killings by SARS officers are now arresting and charging their citizens for Capitol invasion to some extent FBI is now probing Capitol riot link to foreign governments, groups. The FBI is investigating whether foreign governments, organisations or individuals provided financial support to people who helped plan and execute the January 6 attack on the Capitol, a news report said on Sunday. As part of the investigation, the FBI is examining payments of $500,000 in bitcoin, apparently by a French national, to key figures and groups in the far right before the riot, one current and one former FBI official told NBC News. SilverNorGold: I know some Nairalanders are going to blast me for criticizing President Buhari, but I don't care. I'll speak the truth no matter whose ox is gored!
Yes, I agree he's done exceptionally well in the areas of agriculture, infrastructure, human development, finance, security and economy, but his failure to punish insurrectionists cannot be ignored. His (administration's) refusal to jail Aisha Yesufu and the other EndSars promoters; his refusal to jail Sowore and allowing Nnamdi Kanu to jump bail successfully will be recorded in history as the failures of the Muhammadu Buhari administration. That's what his softness will cost him if his administration keeps sweeping these issues under the carpet!
President Buhari must understand that Nigerians will not rest until those guys are jailed. That they are celebrities doesn't in any way put them above the law. We are all equal in the eyes of the law. Hopefully, this administration will do the right thing and jail those criminals. Doing otherwise will result in a MONSTROUS PROTEST!
I have spoken my mind.
God bless Nigeria. I'll also join the protest. Gladly! |

Aisha Yesufu and the other evil celebrities, whose actions led to the destruction of lives and property, must be brought to book. Nigerians are not happy. Shedding crocodile tears.. Not because they love the young man, but cos they're pissed that he left them behind to go and meet the Lord in a better place!
The same thing happens to the living.. When you prosper on Earth, these same evil hypocrites will do everything to bring you down!
