This is another story that is making us believe that Yorubas are afraid of restoration of Biafra. Why must all Biafrans come home when Biafra is restored? Why are there Yorubas in the UK, US and other countries?, Kenya clamped down on Nigerians in Kenya and arrested about 40 Nigerians, more than 70% are Yorubas. Why are they not in their country Nigeria? Are there no Nigerians with properties outside Nigeria? My dear brother anybody can live and own properties anywhere in the world. That is the argument you are using to scare our brothers that made some of them afraid of Biafra restoration. Unfortunately for you, times have changed, gone are those days when you have monopoly of the media where you spew all sorts of lies. We now can counter them and put the record straight.

Yes Yorubas are our natural allies because we are both from the south. We have problems because of mistrust that exists amongst us to the advantage of the north. It is unfortunate the Yorubas don't know they are also marginalized, just that the east are more marginalized than they are. I don't know if any Yoruba saw sir Ahmadu Bello's speech that was published on the Parrot newspaper of 12th October 1960. Let me just quote a part of it, "The new nation Nigeria should be an estate of our grandfather Usman Danfodio. We must ruthlessly prevent a change of power, we will use the minorities of the north as willing tools and the south as conquered territory and never allow them rule over us or allow them control over their future". He did not say East as conquered territory, he said South. It is unfortunate that the west think they are ok forgetting that these people not only want to perpetually rule us but do not want us to control our future.
Finally, I will like to tell all Nigerians that Biafra is not a call for war but a call for us to go back to how we were before the British joined us together for their selfish economic interest. We have lived together for more than hundred years and anybody who wants to tell himself the truth will concede that it has not worked. We hate each other, we are different. We have different value system, different religion, different food, different clothes, different languages and so on. Instead of us to wait till war separate us, it is better for us to separate in peace so that we can be happy neighbors where healthy rivalry will help each nation to be better while helping each other to be the best we can.

right now the north has been divided like never before. only Igbo's still fear the north. the northern might only resided with the military and obj has evened that out. even during their military reign of terror, Yoruba was their nightmare. we rescued power from them. facilitated the death of abacha and took Nigeria to democracy and took power on a platter of gold.

when they wanted to rear their ugly head against gej we stood up again and wrestled power from them. we pitied them in 2015 due to gejs misbehavior. immediately buhari won in 2015, the north began backstabbing the south west, telling us how buhari with kano votes only. buhari too showed his hand in his lopsided appointments.

now that they have shown that they are ungrateful backstabbers, we will ensure that power do not return to the core north in 2019.

I'll be glad to share my opinion and that of those I represent, on the way out of the nation's present predicament.

It's natural for siblings to have misunderstanding at times. What makes all the difference is how they reconcile their differences.

Nigeria is like a human body. Each part needs the other. For this reason, the federal government should look beyond the agitation for Biafra to find out the reason for their agitation.

Set up a commit that will investigate their source of fund. If their sponsors can be traced and arrested, the boys will go and look for decent job to do. On her part, the government should do more towards engaging Nigerian youths with gainful employment. When they are busy, they won't have time for nonsense.

To achieve this, we need a visionary leader whose policies will be potent enough to suppress corruption and insurgency without fear or favour, and at the same time, promote economic growth

If Buhari is medically unfit to continue with the good work he started in 2015, the presidency should be fair to Nigerians by saying so. At such, since power rotation has turned North, the good people of this country will have no problem to get a credible replacement from the North while osibanjo continues as vice.

The constitution might have said something like a vice succeeding his boss if the later is incapacitated. But obviously, such political correctness, if followed, will only plunge the nation into deeper crises for several reasons.

1st, osibanjo is a political tenderfoot. Worse than his inexperience is his obvious lack of courage to lead the nation out the present quagmire. A man who cannot say boo to a goose will certainly have no answer to our present economic and political needs.

This is the time for Yoruba elders to demonstrate their statesmanship by guiding osibanjo in the direction of peace and fairness.

Tb and bonds have their respective pros and cons, it depends on what suites your risk level, actually the tb rates are high for now but pointing downwards and same cannot remain like this till end 4th quarter, its would surely go low as the economy revives, we just signed the national budget hence another reason for its high interest rate which would drop with time, slowly but surely. Also, must people would do not have the luxury of 50m NGN to freely engage the TB primary market at their OWN rate.

Insurance is still d best to me biko. Having a 40% ROI annually is higher than wat dis FG bonds offers for even 20yrs. They even offer 13% interest on an annual fixed deposit or capital of which if u are to collect interest off front u will forfiet only 1%. Meaning someone DAT is bringing a fixed deposit or capital of 1m will have 130k interest in a yr but if wants his interest off front will be given 120k and lose 10k which is d 1%. No investment platform or bank can give dis type of rate in Nigeria and it's sure and guaranteed

You know, sometimes i wonder why some of my Yoruba brothers behave the way they do. They have arrogated themselves as the defenders of the Hausa/Fulani oligarchy that in any issue between Igbos and the core North, they always there to defend them and you wonder if they don't have issues of their own.
