Biogas needs the faece to ferment for some days and the gas produced during this fermentation is used as fuel or cooking gas Which requires evacuation of fermented faece with reintroduction of new one, from time to time.

Biodigester is using a biological process to break down faece to water without fermentation process. No evacuation is required.
