ayoola01: Thanks alot broda, I shld hav updated the forum b4 now bt I came in pretty late yesterday, we were 7 in number that was scheduled 4 interview and I was d 7th person to be interviewed.
I was told what orange signify 'cos I wore an orange tie as a touch to my outfit. I was asked about the banks vision, the orange rules and why I feel I should be hired and some other question relating to what is on my C.V.
It was God's favour all through.
So what I will advice is that you plan by reading up everything about the bank, vision core values, brand elements, orange rules e.t.c and make it a blend with what u hav on ur C.V and what you hav to offer the bank.

Am sure the format was shl when u wrote it. Thats why they allowed calculator then. But now its a diff ball game. The format has changed. So calculator wasnt allowed when i wrote it. I wrote mine on the 7th of last month.

On a similar thread, I learnt they pay about 198k for entry level, wich by my standard isn't bad. Enuf to enable me gather sumfn substantial with all deir allowances and stuff and within a few years, enroll into a more reputable university for my masters just as you suggested.

@Yamakuza, yeah I've done half-payment alredy, and no, its non-refundable. Anyways, its not d moni dat matters, I just don't wanna make a grave mistake. The GTB job, I got by God's grace. Just finished my nysc dis february, and I didnt even apply for the position, it was a cousin of myn dat helped submit my cv and dey called me for the test, I went reluctantly, wrote, and discovered I passed. Outta about 6500 pple, dey pikd 39. I know its like a once in a lifetime opportunity and if I'm gonna throw it away, its gotta be for a worthy cause. I guess I'll just have to defer d MBA admission and probably forget about it eventually.

I got an email from HR Department of Gtbank, directing me to report at their head office for my pre-interview documentation, as part of the test conducted on May 7th and 8th.
Is there anybody in the house that got the same.

chippyripp: I wrote the test a week back and scored 80% the test is very very easy.They ask elementary maths that all primary school leaver should pass.For instance in a class of 200 students a third passed how many students failed.Their verbal too is very easy like out of this group of word a b c d which word those not belong to this group.They also ask current affairs and shapes.Like me i guessed all the shape question cos dey kill time.Use ur strength to augment for ur weakness.I only had my coy ID so i was not allowed for the next stage i had to bring my DL the next day for the second stage.You will write an essay during the second stage.Good Luck.......

please when did you write your test? Cos i wrote mine on d 7th of this mnth. I got 60% and went straight for my documentation. Have you been contacted for interview?

@motcom, email me ur pin. Dat GTB test is no child's play. I'm talking from experience. The failure rate is as high as 90%(18 peepz passed out of 200 at about the same time that I did mine). The people that passed can attest to this fact.

i only studied gmats ooo. I will advice that you dont over prepare. Cos d maths re simple maths just be conversant with your percentage. I will also advice u re well grounded in your analysis of shapes. Also go buy those books on current affairs by the road side. Just try improve on ur speed. All the best.
