Why would anyone say its not Fela's picture ,was that the first time he was beaten. And was that the worst he was ever beaten. The guy was living most of his adult life defying soldiers for god's sake. Lets just continue to be inspired by the life of this unbelievably courageous not to mention selfless individual. No he is not.Religion arose in the infancy of mankind and it was our first clumsy attempt to explain the cosmos. We should have out grown it by now . Even the cursory observer of human history cannot but be appalled by the horrendous litany of crimes done in its name through the ages. |
