The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Mr. Aminu Tambuwal, again, on Monday, postponed his rumoured bid to defect to the All Progressives Congress.

But he attended a meeting convened by the Sokoto State Governor, Aliyu Wamakko, an APC member, to discuss the political future of the state.

Tambuwal said he was still consulting and would brief Nigerians very soon on his final decision.
Nigerians are already used to this line, which has always been Tambuwal’s response to inquiries over his political future.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Niger State has endorsed Governor Muázu Babangida Aliyu as Niger-East sole candidate for the senatorial district in the 2015 election.
