This is StormRex's interview on Wednesday on Soundcity City Divas....

When Pearl asked StormRex if she can date a guy in the industry... she replied by saying she cant cos she is a private person and wouldn't want her personal life to be out there in public.

Pearl also asked her why she's different in her style of music... she replied by saying that's how she wanted it to be, cos she wants to be in her own lane and not follow the crowd. She also mentioned that the StormRex you see in songs & videos is completely different from her real person which is Yvonne Ogbogu.

When asked whether she will join the Dancehall / club music dat is the trend now, she replied that she wont, although she might do one or two dancehall tracks but her signature which is her Enugu Igbo Dialect must be there.

She also made mention of how she was trying to run away from music as a career but her fans wont let her be. She said it was affecting her studies back then at ENUGU STATE UNIVERSITY OF SCIENCE & TECHNOLOGY where she was studying Bio-CHemistry. She couldn't hide from music since she became famous in the East in 2008 when she was with her girl group DESPERATE CHICS.

She mentioned that the music hustle in Lagos is very hard and stressful but with Phyno & Pent Hauze backing her up, she's looking forward to the future. Watch the whole interview....

Your STATE in life does not determine your STANDING with God...
What is STATE & what is STANDING in dis concept you might ask....?
1) Your STATE in life is how you see yourself at a particular time and how u feel about life's issues....
2) Your STANDING with GOD is how God sees you.....
As a Believer in Christ, your state in life doesn't change how God sees you.... You might be feeling down, depressed, unwanted & not qualified to stand in the presence of God but you know what... God doesn't see you dat way.... When God looks at you, He is seeing JESUS... God sees us from the finished work of Christ... So no matter your state or condition in life, God's opinion of us doesn't change. We are His children which was made possible by the Salvation we have in CHRIST Jesus..... And He doesn't want us to lose sight of His Blessed Hope for us which is Eternal Life.....

Prophet Udeme or whatever... you like twisting the Scripture. May God have mercy on you, you are living a depressed life and you want others to follow you, but God forbid!!!! Christianity is not Bondage neither is it a religion.

This thought have always been coming to my mind about these two Nigerian divas.

Seyi Shay is a top Nigerian songstress. I totally love her and her voice is awesome. She's big in Mainstream media as all the top radio and TV stations play her songs. But somehow, i have noticed dat Seyi Shay is not so popular on the Streets. I also noticed dat her music is more appreciated by the Elite Crowd ( dem Islanders e.g Ikoyi, V.I, Lekki dwellers etc ).

Meanwhile, Cynthia Morgan is a dancehall diva and also in the top female league. She's big in the Mainstream Media also. I also noticed that Cynthia Morgan is popular in the Steets. Her hit songs are well received e.g DON'T BREAK MY HEART, AM TAKEN & GERMAN JUICE.

So Nairalanders, between Seyi Shay & Cynthia Morgan, who is the Bigger Artiste?

Now lets rate dem by these :

1) Popularity and Acceptance by music fans

2) Which of them pulls crowd more at shows?

3) Which of dem have a higher rating on Mainstream Media?

Omawumi is a very talented Nigerian songbird. I love her voice and dexterity in singing. After topping so many Charts in Nigeria and beyond, it seems the sun is setting on Omawumi's music career.

I know she gave birth and all that but before that, she was no longer buzzing & topping the charts like before. Her last hit was MEGBELE which was last year or last two years.

So Nairalanders, do you think the sun has set on Omawumi's Career or does she have another chance to comeback and hit it Big?

It is of no new trend that Pastors and Spiritual leaders makes mistakes.
Believe me ,the consequences of Some of these mistakes of theirs can be Fatal to the ministry and the members.
While most of us are quick to judge,hack,stroke,condemn etc.
Let us be aware that they are yet humans,they are flesh and blood like you and I.
Despite the fact the might have wrought miracles and healings,they are still men of like Passions just like you and I.
read Acts 14:-
James5:16-19.
What to do when your Spiritual leaders errs.
1)Pray for them : - this is the most important and best thing to do,pray for them.
2)Believe the best about them.
3)Focus on their strengths and you will see their weakness disappear.
4)speak postively about them.
5)Never, I repeat Never criticise them in Public or in the midst people or amongst yourselves in churches or anywhere.
6)Never criticise/ condemn them on Social media.
7)Talk to other Spiritual leaders about the Particular Pastor/leader.
Honour them.
One thing we should know is this,
the more we criticize Spiritual leaders especially on the Internet
,the harder it is for the Gospel to spread.
Because People will have wrong impressions about the preacher which will result to obstacle for the Gospel.

I am just seeing dis now. What you wrote is so true. People seem to forget dat men of God are humans too, they are not perfect. I don't condemn people again cos you don't know their personal relationship with God. It is well.
