I dont seem to understand why our artistes (Rappers and Singers) seem to be trying desperately for American recognition. Is d Nigerian and African market not big enough? Lets look at it dis way: 1) American media is stuck with their own entertainment, they hardly import any form of entertainment (be it music or movies) frm other parts of d world into America. 2) Black record label owners in America does not want any competition whatsoever from any Nigerian or African act dat is trying to break into their circle thereby rivalling their own artistes. They dont want dat datz why they behave as if Nigeria doesnt have a thriving music industry. 3) There are a million and one upcoming artistes in America trying to break into their mainstream. So dis becomes a handicap to any Nigerian act trying to force his/her music into American mainstream. My advice for our artistes is dat they should concentrate on our Nigerian and African market which is very BIG, like P Square and M.I said. America cannot ignore us forever cos a golden fish has no hiding place. I know in d near future, they ll come for us cos our music is now revolutionalised. All we have to do is to be original and even if we borrow anything, let it be infused with our African sounds. So in d meantime Nigeria and Africa should be our focus. Let our artistes stop acting like desperados. Rome was not built in a day. My One Naira contribution.

I came across these guys' song ''Diamond Dream'' when i went to d East in January. Their song ''Diamond Dream'' was getting enoff airplay on Rhythm 95.7 Fm in Awka. At first i thought it was R. We were friends on facebook buh i rap more with Ursula Ice more than d other two. Stormrex is a graduate of Bio-Chemistry from ESUT, Enugu likewise Barbie and Ursula Ice. Barbie read Law and i think she's in Law school now buh i didnt know Ursula's course of study. Didnt bother to ask though. I didnt know why they broke up though buh its related to petty issues peculiar to women. Peeps are not happy on their break up though cos they make good music together. Stormrex is not as local as she sounds in real life though. Peeps dat have meet her confirmed it and mehn!! Stormrex is a very beautiful girl oo. Looolzzz.

Ok, Ursula sings mostly in Pidgin while Stormrex prefers her Igbo which sometimes is sold on me, lol. Meaning i dont really understand some of her lyrics coz her Igbo is very deep. She's from Enugu State and she sings in her dialect but her kind of Igbo is very funny to Igbo people outside Enugu State. Lol. The way she pronounces her words and all dat buh she's very very talented just like Flavour. Just dat Flavour's Igbo is clearer coz he's from Anambra. Stormrex although has been castigated by some peeps in d East dat she's very local becos she sings in Igbo and dat she will never conquer d Lagos market!! Looolzz. In as much as i love P Square dem music, dis their comment in d interview is uncalled for coz it came across as being jealous. D Banj being signed on to Kanye's label is a good thing for Nigerian and African music coz it has put Nigeria on d map. The best thing to do is to be happy for Dbanj coz his star has started shining again beyond d African shores. But i know we Nigerians and our bad belle attitude, lol. So many musicians are now jealous of Dbanj and Don Jazzy coz of dis dat i think P Square should have been diplomatic not to give negative comment. One thing i love Don Jazzy for, is his marketing strategy in selling his artistes. He figured out dat featuring Snoop on Dbanj's song will get him much Western exposure and he did dat and now he's reaping his rewards.
