He'd be unmasked if he coaches a club
he has done it before, started well with Middlesbrough but ended up relegating them, if Tenhag don’t improve at Manutd he could be replaced by Southgate

what do you expect his coach to say?

grin I remember Isaac well well he was decent in the 2002 AFCON but was seriously poor by 2004 but definitely not as bad as Furo Iyeneme till today it's still a mystery how he made it to the national team.

I’ll take Furo over him sha

Ekong wasn't really great when he started out but to his credit he worked hard and is now indispensable especially for our defense.

I feel like you people didn’t see Okoronkwo play 😭

I agree. He's error prone, easily dribbled and get's beaten for pace often. However, he's 25 and experience has taught me not to write off any active footballer.

Case in point, is William Troost Ekong who I never rated and considered an Isaac Okoronkwo v2.0 but has now developed into a very solid defender.

Gabriel Osho could still come good with regular game time and more exposure.
No way you can compare Ekong to Isaac Okoronkwo, can’t remember Ekong being directly responsible for any goal while error full Okoronkwo body

Give us Marcelo Bielsa and this lineup will reach semifinals of 2026.

7 goals guaranteed from open play from Group Stage to Semis.
Bielsa is an overhyped coach

the only thing Vinicius can do better than Neymar is "sprint" Nothing else.

If Vinicius and Bellingham are the front runners for Ballon D'or, tells you all you need about the current state of the game.
nothing wrong with Vinny or Jude winning it, I mean Figo Owen and Nedved won it in the past, they aren’t so much better

Roberto Carlos can hit a fantastic screamer but I have seen him cooked many times like of he can't even mark. Go watch Ronald de Boer cook him in France 98 so badly that his coach told him to stop trying.
maybe you don’t know what ‘got cooked means’

Christian Chuckwu with Afcon trophy in 1980….the team picture had 17 years old Henry Nwosu but Akinsanmiro and Eletu need to wait while 16 years old Lamine Yamal is doing it in Euro.

Truly the English side have more quality than my Dutch boys but matchday will decide.

England can win it because they have the quality to. I pointed out their stardust and quality level since the first game vs Serbia. Yes they have labored and underwhelmed in games but they are now in the Semis.

But then... I think Spain can also win it. I hope they don't allow France bully them with their Physicality.

I don’t see Spain beating France sha, infact i don’t see anybody beating France, their shithousery is on another level

You guys are getting me all wrong. Don't. I watched AFCON and saw it all. But am talking about the present setup and also a matter of sustenance of such OT. Not this off and on.

Discredit? Come off it. We just need this mentality regardless of hierarchy. Most times we see such zeal, the players do it by themselves and for themselves and history, not because the house is in order.

My other reply i had to use the siasia level because it is close to the game tonight.

The bottomline remains that attitude has been a consistent problem in the SE, regardless of manager. Ego battles and what have you.

We need it abeg. We currently lack it and we need it back if it was ever lost.
2018 WC, 2020 euro and 2022 World Cup Germany performed poorly in all 3 tournament what do you have to say about that? Or just watched one game and assume this is how they always play?

At the end of the day you can only do this with players with zeal and passion for the game.... And from the looks of things those players lack it.

Folks here seem to make it sound like we’re the France 🇫🇷 of Africa

We’re not o

We have 1 world class player

Then everyone else is journey men

The sooner we see that the sooner we stop unrealistic expectations
so you think Benin and Rwanda have better players ?

Nah you're just blinded by nostalgia.
Which is funny cause Lampard wasn't even an exciting player.😆
He got like half his goals from Pens and deflections.
Don't get me wrong Lampard was a good player, a goal scoring midfielder, but KDB is just a better footballer
disagree with the bolded but I agree that KDB is more complete
