🚨🇳🇬 Source confirmed the NFF is moving to integrate former Chelsea Champions League winner Faustino Anjorin to the Super Eagles.

Excl🚨 NFF is also progressing thoughts on Everton midfielder Tim Iroegbunam as Eric Chelle demands Quality Defensive Midfielder
we need to go after Dortmund’s Chukwuemeka, very fine midfielder

Flying Eagles Call Up Seven Foreign-Based Players for Final U20 AFCON Camp

Head Coach Aliyu Zubairu has named seven overseas-based players in the final phase of the Flying Eagles training camp in Abuja, as preparations intensify ahead of the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt.

The invited foreign-based stars include:

- Soliu Ajia – Goalkeeper (FK Novi Pazar, Serbia)

- Emmanuel Chukwu – Midfielder

- Benjamin Precious – Defender (TSG Hoffenheim, Germany)

- Caleb Ochedikwu – Midfielder (NK Ujanik, Montenegro)

- Ibrahim Alam – Forward (Real Valladolid, Spain)

- Israel Ayuma – Defender (NK Istra, Croatia)

- Umar Abubakar – Forward (KAA Gent, Belgium)

These players are expected to add quality, experience, and depth to the squad as Nigeria aims to reclaim continental glory in the U20 category.

The final camp will also help determine the squad that will represent Nigeria at the prestigious youth tournament later this year in Egypt.

this list is very very underwhelming, some of the players and clubs didn’t check out while others have very poor numbers, Ayuma have played only 1 game while Caleb plays for a division 2 team. We have way better players both in Europe and in Nigeria . This looks like agent work

I might be wrong or they got the name wrong but that Ibrahim Alam isn’t on the books of Valladolid and both Benjamin and Emmanuel only joined Hoffenheim in late February

⚽🗣️ZINEDINE ZIDANE ON JAY OKOCHA:
"Frankly, Okocha was top level, I will never forget this player."

He was a mix between myself, Denis Bergkamp and Ronnie (Ronaldinho).

I loved his catch, controls, his out of the box view. Okocha was not a footballer, he was simply an artist"

when and where did he say this?

Seems you don't know the definition of the word Legacy.
There was never a time when Kanu or Mikel were the hearts and main men of their respective clubs in the EPL but Okocha was and till today he is still mentioned and regarded as the best African ever to play in the EPL. Winning tittles as part of a team is different from having a legacy. Mikel all through his years at Chelsea was a fringe player who won tittles using players like Drogba, Lampard and Terry. Same with Kanu for Arsenal who was rated at Arsenal below players like Henry, benkamp, Lurgberg, Pires, Viera, Campbell, A. Cole, etc. Kanu was not even the best in his position when he was at Arsenal, same with Mikel at Chelsea
nothing concern me with una argument but abeg no talk this kain thing outside abeg

Okocha only played in the EPL for 4 years, it's a bit unfair to compare him with Iwobi in his 10th season already in the EPL. It's like comparing Nwakali's legacy in La Liga with Chrisantus Uche
what does this even mean 😂, Nwakali and Laliga legacy on top half season that he played or what? and Uche hasn’t even finished one season, both of them shouldn’t even have legacy anywhere near their names

It was a left-footed volley, released after he controlled the ball with his chest. Last and the best goal of the tournament. Coincidentally, Okocha also scored the first goal of the tournament against Morocco

NFF will most likely use this to pull the same nonsense they did with the Mexican friendly. NPFL players will be displayed for marketing purposes for transfers to backwater European and Asian clubs.

We will then proceed to lose all matches and our ranking will tank accordingly.

No experimenting or fine tuning of tactics. Such is the NFF way.
so who would you want them to use? The timing for those games fall outside the fifa window

we have missed our chance once he started performing in a top club like Arsenal.
It should have been done earlier like the case of Iwobi.
If they could not convince Eze and Olise of crystal palace,it's an Arsenal player with a huge prospect they would?
we never had a chance, why do you think Arsenal gave him his EPL debut at 15? He has always been highly rated

As fans I think we get too emotional following a loss. This same team won in Rwanda (a very difficult place to get a result), but drew (lost) at home in the dying minutes of added time.

Let us see what Chelle can cook. If we miss our of the world cup, it isn't his fault but the clowns in the NFF.

Rohr's scouting team did a great job. Chelle needs his own guys to do same. After AFCON, we can the assess Chelle's performance.
if fifa cut that 3 points and we still don’t qualify I’ll hold Chelle responsible

Eric Chelle is clearly not in absolute charge of the Squad selection list that prosecuted the WCQ matches.

It was the hands of Esau and the voice of Jacob.

The NFF and their Stooges, AE the technical advisor and other members of the cabal should clearly hands off the NT at all levels.

Any player who must make the NT list must be based on competency at all levels.

God fatherism must stop in Nigeria at all levels.

Coaches must be given a free hand to select their players.

They will take responsibility for their successes and failures 100 percent.
he is in charge, I’m sure he’ll make changes next time. He’s just meeting the players for the first time plus I’m sure AE and his assistant coaches have a hand in the selections

apparently the logic that says tanimu should not be involved in super eagles conversation due to his team being in the third tier of English football does not apply to nwakali who also plays for a team in the same third tier of English football.

In all you do as a coach, train your team not to concede in the 4 most tensioned moments of the game.
5 minutes from kick off,
5 minutes before HT,
5 minutes from resumption of the Second half,
5 minutes Before FT.

5 minutes after scoring and 5 minutes after conceding

My brother, I wasn't comfortable seeing him. play Aina on the left even in the first match. Aina is the best RB in the EPL for God's sake. Why short change him just so you can play a mediocre Osayi on the right? Well as Aina gave an assist on the left, na so Osayi assisted Zimbabwe on the right.
until I see his next squad list for June before I raise eyebrow on him

Nwakali in SA would have been better than Nwakali in English division 3.

I don't know why a Portuguese div one player wil join English division three..... Nwakali need to get it right. He can only get invitation on sentiment just like having Papi Daniel.AE did it for him in Afcon 2021.

But guess what, during international break, English third tier clubs are busy so better for Nwakali to sort things out,his talent is above division 3.
how is his talent above division 3? I’m not sure he has ever transferred for money, most times they always let him go on a free. Do you know how crazy it is that European clubs don’t even think getting a fee for you is worth it??
