I have a feeling that Finidi might start Onuachu against Benin just to spite his critics, based on his post match rants
šŸ˜† he wonā€™t, thereā€™s a World Cup ticket on the line, personally Iā€™ll start Moffi at CF then bench Lookman for Boniface. Lookman played on Sunday, travelled on Tuesday and played 90min yesterday, he can come in later in the game.

Finidi used osayi a rightback on the left and tanimu a center back on the right. What happened to the two home based fullbacks he invited to the national team
you donā€™t want to fill the team with too many debutants, you canā€™t do too many chop and change ahead of a crucial game

"Allow you do your job" has cost you a win in your first real official match. This mentality will not take him far in SE.

You dumped a very top player in Boniface that is ability is not in doubt on the bench and started a Onuachu that fans have never liked his football with SE and you have the temerity to tell fans to Allow you do your job. Nigeria coaches and that statement is like 5 and 6.

You started kelechi that is terribly off form...I can't remember if Kelechi has played upto 4 matches this year 2024 with Leicester City.

You took Tanimunu to play central defence, and Bassey to play left back so as to please your bosses that want to sell players and when it boomerang on you, you switched Tanminu ro right back, Osayi to left back and turned SA to prime Brazil in the first half.

Finidi is not the manager that will qualify SE to the world cup. Directionless NFF should relive him now before it's too late...too many elementary decision making in playing selection and formation.

I predicted maximum 2 point in the two matches because of all what I have seen and observe from the end of Afcon mid February to the 30th of April 2024.

SE will not beat Benin with Finidi in charge...he does not have it all...too inexperienced. He is already cracking.

The NFF are the ones meant to provide the facilities and infrastructure for VAR and insist on VAR..

It is the incompetence of the NFF that there was no VAR in this match.

So it will be foolish of the NFF to file a petition just to hide their incompetency.
tell me one match that have used VAR in this qualifying series šŸ¤¦šŸæ

No they did not, what happened when the result was in balance, the better team dominated, reset the match and you'll get the same result
they didnā€™t get the result they wanted, why didnā€™t they just park the bus from the start? At 1-1 they were still coming but we also played with more aggression and better use of the ball

FIFA has ruled that Equatorial Guinea captain Emilio Nsue was never eligible to represent the African nation throughout his 11-year international career.

Nsue won the Golden Boot as top goalscorer at the Africa Cup of Nations earlier this year with five goals in four appearances.

In December 2013, FIFA ruled that Nsue was not eligible to play for Equatorial Guinea ā€” following several appearances for Spainā€™s youth teams ā€” but he continued to represent them regardless. FIFA opened a new investigation into Nsueā€™s eligibility in March with the 34-year-old given a six-day deadline to respond, but world footballā€™s governing body said no response arrived.

FIFA published its judgement in a 15-page ruling on Monday, with Equatorial Guinea stripped of their World Cup 2026 qualification victories against Namibia and Liberia ā€” which they both won 1-0 thanks to Nsue goals ā€” with their opponents awarded a three-goal victory.

FIFA has ruled that former Nsue has been banned from all international football for six months, while the Equatoguinean federation (Feguifut) was fined 150,000 Swiss francs ($164,000, Ā£129,000).

You're actually wrong. The last phase of the manager's plan is to buy superstars. You should have seen a glimpse of that by their recent signings.
according to several sources like TNAT, Charles Watt etc they just want to beef up the squad with reliable backups except in midfield where they could get a sure starter so they arenā€™t looking to pay that Declan Rice money this summer but then things can always change anytime

Arsenal going for Sesko would only be for the sentiment of "spending less" nothing more. If Arsenal wants to really fly even higher next season, they need a monster WC player not another Top potential.

I agree, this season there were games you can see that a proper CF was all Arsenal needed but I think Arteta/Edu donā€™t really see a star CF as priority

I have a feeling, Arsenal will buy Osimhen simply cos of his mentality and cos Osimhen publicly declared he wants Arsenal!
I did state few months ago, Arsenal will suit Osimhen the most!
With an Osimhen in Arsenal, Man City time will come to an end!
the feeling from Arsenal is they wonā€™t buy a superstar player this summer and if they go ahead to buy Sesko there wonā€™t be any need to sign Osimhen

Ghana have already started training, I donā€™t understand why weā€™ve not opened camp yet considering that itā€™s a new technical team and a couple of new players, at least the team can get more training time together
