I believe the Muslims on this forum would start throwing tantrums if a similar thread is created insulting their beloved muhammad. What is good for the gander is good for the goose.

Relax bro, on social media, this is the trend but same cannot be said of "been" and "being" and I assure u, it is people having challenges with English that point these things out as errors cos I damn know that while u, ur etc are not used in formal writings, 'been' and 'being' are used very well in both formal and informal writings and they are either used correctly or incorrectly. No form of writing permits the use of wrong grammar. Meanwhile, I wouldn't change depart from a trend (which is okay by me) just to impress illiterates.
