Got notified with VFS Abuja that is under process at the IRCC Office on Thu Nov 10 2022.

November 14th from my portal I saw a final decision message and saw my visa status has been issued and I was sent an approval letter.

Today being December 5th, I have not yet received my passport or got a message from vfs Abuja.

I only paid for the transmission fee and with no dhl return envelope.

Does anyone have similar issues ? How can we go about it, thanks all.

Hello. Can you try to track via the VFS tracking website and see their response. Maybe since you didn't pay for return, you may have to pick it up yourself.

Similar case as me guys. It was processed at RROC, not Nairobi so pls fire mails and webforms everywhere.
You never know where it might land.

Picked my ppt today guys and the feeling is still amazing.
Apparently it was processed in Beijing and not Nairobi so anyone could also send webforms/emails to Beijing for feedback regarding their application.

Don't give up y'all, it's worth it at the end.

My passport was submitted at VFS on the 27th of October 2022. Does anyone have similar challenge? What can I do to facilitate this.

Submitted my passport on the 27th October 2022. I got vfs notification saying my processed passport has been sent to VAC Abuja office on the 17th November 2022 and till now it hasn’t been returned. Does anyone have similar issues ? How can we go about it.

My take on this,
No one here would know for sure the reason for the one month Delay except VFS themselves. The email correspondence you got came with a tracking ID, VFS live chat resumes 9am Mon - Fri, have your tracking ID handy, initiate a chat (it might take a few minutes to get routed to an agent but the earlier you initiate the chat the faster), ask for feedback regarding your ppt retrieval, paste your tracking ID on the chat and wait for the agents feedback.
The feedback might be generic but probe further to be given a timeline, have a life interaction with them and you will be glad you did.

Well I’ve done that. The agent only says, your parcel isn’t ready for for pickup yet. You will be notified. And they keep saying that..

You got an information advising you to use your tracking ID or your waybill number to track the PPT. You redacted the tracking ID so not everyone can view it.
While you wait for response regarding the waybill number, please contact ups first thing on Monday with the tracking ID, let ups be the ones to inform you that you have the wrong ID so you don't assume.

Please I sent a question regarding passport submitted on the 27th of October and not yet returned. As at 17th I got the message saying “your processed passport has been forwarded to the Canada visa office on the 17 Nov 2022. I am worried it hasn’t been returned. I’ve seen people complain about delays. What do you think?

There's no point calling VFS. They won't be of much help. The best option is to keep mailing IRCC. Especially their Abuja, Lagos & Nairobi offices.

Those of us who have submitted our passports for a while and yet to get any pick-up notification from VFS have a serious issue on our hands. Especially if you got that mail on 17th of November about it being dispatched to the visa office.

We have students who have submitted their passports for 6-7 weeks and counting yet no feedback whatsoever. I think we should form a united front and approach VFS Lagos office for clarification. Those passports could literally be anywhere.

Some of us have booked flights & we're just so confused as to what to do. Personally I mailed IRCC. I included all their offices from Abuja to Nairobi to Accra to London to Shanghai. It was only Nairobi that responded. They said my passport is in queue for printing!

Printing bawo? Are they issuing new ones? It's complete chaos. I've repeatedly asked VFS why it took them 17 days to forward my passport to the embassy - I submitted on 31st of October. They have never answered that question. They just disable the chat and switch off.

Once more, those passports could be anywhere. Let it not be like the case of one guy that submitted his passport & after four months that he didn't get it back, he started complaining. And I'm not sure he has it till now.

Let's act fast!

I agree to this. It is ridiculous. Passport submitted on 27th October and they waited till 17th November before they processed it and sent it to Abuja VAC and till now it is still not out. Tickets are sky rocketing. I believe VFS isnt being transparent regarding handling of passports or there is something else.

VFS online services resumes 9am, why not chat or call them with your tracking number for clarity.
Do that ASAP so you can get first hand information.
