Nigerian rapper, Habeeb Okikiola popularly known as Portable has disclosed that Olamide paid for the audio, video and promotion of his hit song, ZaZoo Zehh.

Olamide is a Nigerian hip-hop recording artist and he is one of the biggest and most influential artists in Africa.

Speaking in an interview with Jahbless, the Zazuu singer said Olamide paid for production, promotion and also introduced me to the person promoting his music.

The Former Captain of the Black Stars Asamoah Gyan scored the wining goal to book Ghana a place in the final and end the Super Eagles race to win the third AFCON title at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Angola.

Former Nigerian midfielder, Henry Nwosu has said Interim coach, Augustine Eguavoen could be the man to lead the Super Eagles to the World Cup in Qatar, stating that he (Eguavoen) has the tactical know-how to beat Ghana.

The final appointment of Portuguese Jose Peseiro remains uncertain as the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) are caught between approving his two-year contract or maintaining Technical Director, Augustine Eguavoen who had led the Super Eagles to the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON).

Peseiro, who until recently was the coach of the Venezuelan national team, met officials of the NFF in December 2021 over talks to take over the Super Eagles.

This follows the sacking of Gernot Rohr as head coach in the same month.

Eguavoen took over the team a month to the African Cup of Nations (AFCON) 2021 as an interim coach.

The 2015 governorship candidate on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Olorogun O’tega Emerhor, has described those cross-carpeting to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) as “stomach politicians.”

The Abia State High Court has accused the Nigerian Army of attempting to “terminate” the life of Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

Justice Benson Anya held that the Nigerian Army set out as “pythons” to terminate Kanu’s life.

Recall that the Nigerian Army had in 2017 invaded Kanu’s residence in Afaraukwu, Abia State.

This was after Justice Binta Nyako of an Abuja Federal High Court granted the IPOB leader bail in the same year.

The House of Representatives passed the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill on Thursday, January 20, 2022.

However, the lawmakers revised the compulsory direct primary clause.

The bill was passed after the removal of clause (84) requiring political parties to only select candidates through direct primaries.

The PUNCH had reported that the Senate on Wednesday, January 19, 2022, included the consensus mode of primary in the Electoral Act (Amendment) Bill as suggested by the President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.).

Both chambers of the National Assembly, the Senate and the House of Representatives, however, deleted compulsory direct primaries from the bill.

In Augustine Eguavoen, Nigeria are relying on an interim appointment to lead them at the Africa Cup of Nations in Cameroon, albeit a familiar face who knows what it takes to be a continental champion.

Social media celebrity, Ismaila Mustapha, alias Mompha, on Tuesday, January 18, opted to be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Center following his inability to meet the strict bail conditions imposed by an Ikeja Special Offences Court, Lagos.

Mompha and his company Ismalob Global Investment Ltd were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) over alleged N6 billion fraud, on Wednesday, January, 12.

The eight count charges are conspiracy to launder funds obtained through unlawful activity and laundering of funds obtained through unlawful activity.

Nigerian actress and filmmaker, Toyin Abraham has opened up on her struggles in the past which turned her into a new person.
