According to Angel FM, a Ghanaian media house the four African Cup of Nations (AFCON) titles won by the Ghana national team has gone missing.

The Black Stars were the first team to win four AFCON trophies in 1982.

In a discussion by the Angel FM sports enthusiasts, they claimed that none of the four AFCON titles can be found at the Secretariat of the Ghana Football Association.

Human rights lawyer, Chief Mike Ozekhome, on Wednesday, February 16, told Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court in Abuja that his client and leader of Indigenous People of Biafra, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, may go blind because he was losing his sight.

According to him, Kanu who is currently in custody of the Department of State Service may go blind if nothing was urgently done to restore his sight.

Kanu is facing trial over alleged links with terrorism.

Ozekhome, who recently took over the defence team of the embattled IPOB leader, decried that his client’s eyeglass was confiscated in 2015, when he was initially arrested by DSS operatives, following his return to Nigeria from the United Kingdom. Gunmen have invaded Barakallahu Community in Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State and killed the Director of Operations of the State Geographical Information Service, Mallam Dauda.

It was learnt that the attackers targeted the residence of the victim in the area located along the Zaria Kaduna highway, killing the director. They left without picking any valuables in the house, it was further gathered.

There was no official confirmation of the attack either by the state government or the state Police Command, but the District Head of the Community, Alhaji Muhammad Abdullahi, confirmed the incident.

Abdullahi while confirming the attack, said both the Divisional Police Officer, Rigachikun and Barnawa, who are residents of the area had since visited the scene of the crime which occurred in the early hours of Friday, February 11.

NFF President Amaju Pinnick has revealed Odion Ighalo remains committed to the Super Eagles, despite missing the last African national team engagement.

Sylvester Oromoni was beaten by bullies at Dowen College, the immediate elder sister of the late student, Amanda, has told the Coroner’s Inquest Court of Lagos State.

Amanda, who was a student of Dowen College in the Lekki area of the state, in her witness statement before the court, said in October 2021, a student of the college, one Favour Benjamin, approached her and informed her that Sylvester told him and others in their room that he had seen her unclothedness.

“As a result of this statement, I became angry and started yelling at my late brother and I broke down and started crying.

“My brother said he had to say so, so that they could stop beating, bullying and flogging him.”
