Just a question for you me Oluwasanmi: Would you have gotten the courage to criticism Adeshina and by extension Buhari if you have gotten that job in Aso rock? |
Those that make up the coalition do not have names? No objective and true observer will release a report like this , directly attacking a particular party. This is an arranger observer, if not let them mention their individual group names. |
It is surprising to hear from Fayose that Military has no role in elections. The same military that was deployed during his own election who rigged the election for him. I think Fayose is getting drunk. |
I stumbled on this funny piece by The Nation`s Gbenga Omotosho and decide to share it with you. Do you consider it workable? |
One wonders, what is the consideration for the support Goodluck Jonathan enjoyed from the southeasterners, mainly Igbos in his first term and his reelection for the second time. Gooduck is from south, at the conclusion of his tenure, the power will shift back to North, this will be for another 8 years. The power will then come back to the south, but at this period, South East may not be able to get the support of the co- southerners to emerge presidential candidate. The opposition will even start from within the Igbo themselves. This will pave way for a south westerner to emerge with likely support from the north. on the other hand, if Buhari wins , the story is the same. it will have been a little easier if igbos support the candidacy of buhari, and wins, tendencies are there that the north may throw their weight behind Igbo candidate. But as it is now, the fate of the igbos are is hanging on the balance. |

instead of this shameless GOvs to cover their faces, they continue to look for ways to justify their actions. if all of you agreed that there shouldn't be election why cant you work out and insist on the consensus agreement. you all participated in the election thinking your candidate will win, to me that was a political miscalculation. you were all beaten to it. |

THAT IS GOOD DOES NOT MAKE IT RIGHT. Most times we concern ourselves with the quality of what we do and not the relevance as at point of times. Jesus Christ continued Martha in Luke 10: 38 that she was doing a good thing at the wrong time. This is the story of many of us today. We are only interested in doing what we think is good but not considering whether it is right. Let us see some examples in the bible, Paul in his own thinking felt that it is good to sacrifice to the Lord without considering whether it is the right thing to do. Sacrifice is good but it is the right thing at that time.the consequence of that action was ... Martha was busy cooking while Christ was teaching and Martha felt is in the right track. One can sense disappointment in the face of Martha as a result of response she got from Christ. Cooking for Christ is not bad, but not right at that time. The story of a man called Uzzah in 2 Sam 6 is prophetic. He was trying to do a good thing by preventing the ark of God from falling, little did he know that he was wrong and he did not live to tell the story. It reminds me of one staff in my former office, he was assigned to go and work at the construction site but stayed back to give helping hand to those working at the main yard in Port Harcourt. He was queried and subsequently punished for his act. The young man was surprised that the management can take action against him because to him he did not at any time absent from work. But he was told he was doing the right thing at the wrong time and wrong place. Many people fall under this category. They are working well for God but instead of reward nothing is coming. The question is, are they doing the right thing? Rom 8:30 says moreover, whom He did predestined, them He also called, and whom He called, them He also justify, and whom He justified, them He also glorified. When you do the right thing at the wrong time, it becomes wrong hence no reward. Ask yourself if what you are doing or about to do is good for the present circumstance. Before you go for that job, is it right for you or you just felt is good, that elective office you are viewing for is it right or you... it your fundamental human right and you must execute it. Do not embark on fruitless and crisis-riddled endeavour. |
