Your excuse and explanation is incoherent and doesn't make any sense. You had a back up plan that you didn't inform him about but stringed him along.
What stopped you from using the phone of the person who came to pick you? or what stopped you from using the airport's wifi to update him of development before leaving the airport?
You probably think it is easy to pick someone from the airport leaving other personal schedules?

One principle to live by "Do unto others as you would like to be done to".

I have observed there are too many selfish and inconsiderate people on this thread. Prior to getting their visa, they are always active asking questions etc.. but as soon as they get what they want, they disappeared. Only resurface when in need of something like asking who is coming from Nigeria.

I understand that some could be busy but I don't see how busy you will be that you can't offer assistance once in a while. But not busy when in need of something.

JimsSG, I understand that one must look after himself but when looking after oneself will affect another party, every action must be considered not to cause the other party any harm.

What is done is done, I can only advice you to act wisely for your own sake as this kind of behaviour can block great benefits from you in the future.
I couldn't use the airport wifi I had already left I was standing outside by the car pick up so I couldn't go back in cause I was told by the cleaner there, cars can't stay long there & I absolutely missed that I should've use who came to pick me up phone to contact bro tola that I was leaving but I genuinely didn't think of that then. I acted selfish on my path and I'm sorry to bro tola personally for the inconveniences I caused him & to the house too thanks guys

Not really a cool treatment. I guess it's an excitement of coming new in town. Please forgive a brother.

Abeg make e no block way for another person, u sabi say our life style if different with ur adjusted one dia. A friend once called me, I saw his missed call but the phobia of making international call and airtime going off, I couldn't call back. He swore never to call me again. Now, na me dey do the calling and it's almost cheap sef but yet telling one me.

Please forgive and still be the good person u re.

Thanks for ur support.
I'm sorry for my behavior & deeply sorry for any inconvenience I caused bro tola, e ma binu

Honesty is the best policy as they say, I drovr almost an hr to pick you up at airport knowing fully well you have other plan in mind, the feelings of thinking that a bro is waiting for you at the airport made me drove recklessly not minding the red light just because I want to pick u up ASAP. Searching and looking everywhere made me look so worried, from domestic to international terminal Hoping nothing bad has happened to you, you still acknowledge my msg as at the time I told you am on my way to airport, all u could was to tell me you are already in a friends place. I felt so stup$d, I wish you success here in brissy just that you might have block some help to other future Nigerians. "JimsSG"
I'm sorry it's not anything you think while I was waiting the other person I texted with the airport wifi I was around as soon as I arrived was there not too long after so I left & I wanted to text you but it's Nigerian line I had & airport wifi went off immediately I walked out the airport & it was late I couldn't get any sim at the airport cause I wanted to call you back immediately anyway I'm so sorry for the inconvenience I caused you pls unblock me

Are u ibo?
I'm actually Yoruba but please what does my tribe have to do with helping me ?
TravelRe: General Australian student Visa Enquiries Part 2 by JimsSG(m): 2:34am On Sep 26, 2016

You can't help him if he is not Igbo?

Pathetic... Why must you know or ask for a person's tribe when assistance is required. He is first a human being before a tribe.

Tribe, race etc are factors no one have or had control over. Yet you people will be the first to cry racism when the tables turned in Western country.

There is more to human connection than their race, gender or tribe.

Get rid of tribalism and the world will be a better place to live.
Yes exactly that reply really stunned me too cause I'm not sure what my tribe has to do with anything if he wants to help me, this is 2016, I can't believe people are still exhibiting tribalistic traits. reply left me scattered cause I'm Yoruba & now I'm skeptical about his help since he's asking about my tribe 1st sigh what should I do

And you stop spamming the thread....

Someone already offered to help you, yet you keep spamming the thread.
When you were planning to travel, you should have factored in all these things.

Mind you whosoever help can only accommodate you for free for maximum of one week except it is convenient for him to take you in and share the bills subject to approval of landlord or agent.

Nothing is free in the country you are traveling to.
I'm new on here so I don't 100% know how to operate it yet plus I was trying to get attention, I haven't gotten any help per say yet today but I've just read a fair bit of the entire thread & there's been good info even about other which is valuable.

I wasn't looking to stay more than a week, I just want to try to get an accommodation I can chill & manage at while i get myself a room with close proximity to my locations. Anyway I just sent you a pm please reply

Hey Peeps have some good news to share, so i just graduated and moved to Sydney from brisbane about a month ago. Today was my first day of work as an Environmental engineer with a reputable company. My advice to folks with engineering degrees, i believe the grass is greener here. you should just know how to apply wisdom in your search for opportunity.
