*Advancement Over Perfection*

It's the second month of the year and you are already giving up on your audacious goals, due to the fact that you are not seeing manifestation yet.

Perfection have its place in your overall goodness, bringing clarity and focus yet can stand as a limitation if you always hold on to it before engaging at all or if you always see those without perfection as valueless.

The constant push for perfection without balance can impact your confidence negatively and distract you from new experience or approaches.

Nevertheless instead of giving up based on perfection or the vastness of your goal, focus on making incremental advancement over the course of several weeks, months or years. This does not in any way mean that you should stop aiming for big & measurable goals, but it does mean focusing on each step rather than only the whole structure and it's finishing point.

It is a strategy that is alive and will grow over time into what ever you desire. What you may focus on in the first month of your strategy may look entirely nonsense and shabby yet it would be different once you reach the six months or one-year mark, so just know that your daily aim is to advance, no matter how small. 

Set up the system to reach the goals and be ready and willing to make necessary adjustments along the way as you understand what is working or what isn’t working or what isn’t necessary in achieving your long term goals.

Your every directed progress will lead to perfection eventually. Just keep showing up daily.

Don't allow perfection like a mirage stop you from engaging on your journey.

STOP BEING SHY OF YOUR BUSINESS.

I wonder why many are not proud of their means of livelihood.
Actually went for a reunion party and it can to the section whereby everyone must introduce themselves and what they do accordingly so we can patronize each other.

Those that works with organization such as banks,schools,oil companies etc introduced themselves and I was okay with it.
They majorly answered in this manner �
"I am ... I work in ... if you have any issue related to .... I can help you out."

But most business people there made me see why they are not actually prospering in their trade.
They just said their name and what they do.�
"I am ... I deal on ..."
That's all.

So I decided to restructure the approach for them.�
"I am ... I sale ... my office is located at ... we are open Mon-Sat; 8am-6pm. phone number."

Some welcomed it with joy but some hesitated.

The worst was that some just said they are into business without telling us what kind of business it is.

I asked why and the general chorus was "them they shame na"

This above restructure might not suit your business but it can act as a guide.

My advice is that you carry your business on your head like those selling sachet water on the street.

Make noise about it at any given opportunity.

The more proud you are about your business the more people will know about it and feel like patronizing you.

Being proud about your business can make others fall in love and become your brand evangelists.
Best known in business always win the best(who is silent).

Another peep into RELATIONSHIP!

People don't work to the fullest in isolation.
It is the people who we relate with that motivate us to actualize our potentials & goals.

From another view I can say that it is our caring for others that we are motivated to work as harder & become better in what we do, thereby earning better.

You can establish relationship with an individual by just consistently "waving" & saying "hi" every time you pass by.

You can establish an online relationship by liking & commenting on someone's post consistently.

NB:It doesn't make sense to form relationships for selfish reasons.
That won't work because people must know and so feel extorted.

Build relationships with integrity & genuine likeness.
Always have something to offer your relationship circle.
Find a common play ground.

No relationship can survive the starvation of time; feed your relationship with it's required time span(not all relationship have same time commitment level)

Even as you make new year plans, let's say getting a mentor is on your list; I will advice you dive in from a relationship wing. So in essence establish relationships before you need them.

Help that person without hidden reasons.

Everyone like compliment, so always compliment those in your relationship circle.

Watch your emotions & give listening ear.
Speak from your heart & show care, yet don't go against your genuine convictions/integrity.

Traveling they say is part of education.

So today I traveled far Aniocha South in Delta State to a village called EWULU.

This is by far the most rough journey I have engaged recently, maybe because it's my first time.��‍♂️

Ewulu is believed to be the 3rd most ancient village in Aniocha South.

EWULU; is a village surrounded by lots of water bodies.

interestingly they have lots of plantain.�

Oh I didn't tell you my aim of travelling.
My bad.
Well I went for a funeral.

Am writing this because of something that came to mind while at the event���

RELATIONSHIP!

Relationship can cause someone to engage in the worst journey ever and still smile like it's nothing.(like I did today..kai�)

So the quest to building long sustainable relationship with friends/those around you must be handled with all seriousness .

A man without relationship is a man without solid foundation, because I see relationship as an integral part of our very existence.
Every other parts can be built upon relationship.

No man is an island, so we must always need the help on those around.

Even Kings don't install themselves.

So don't be deceived by the words of those deceitful fellow saying they are self made.

We all need each other.

There can never be a living business without customers.

Every transaction always require two or more persons.

Another thing you should note������
The stronger the relationship of your circle the more heights that circle would attain.

So like I was saying despite the roughness of the road & all the hindrances friends still trooped out in their hundreds & I began imagining how the occasion would have been without friends.

Build relationship in all you do
&
in all you do, learn to sustain it.

One good thing about relationship is that it help you express yourself in your own way without trying to be someone else and the other party too will be more comfortable with it.

In other words don't take your identity to keep a relationship.

Your tribe will always be cool with you & help improve you in areas that need it.

But how can you even focus when you have not been trained? Humble yourself & find yourself a human guide.

Remember it's for life so don't back out because the benefit is not coming as you desired, rather find a new approach,get a mentor & work more smartly.

Good day. Welcome to another inspiring episode of Jio Notes.
Well last week was both fun and stressful. I traveled to the land of the Ijaw's and it's a unique area that I love because of their riverine terrine, abundance in crude oil, dancing pattern and lots more
Though I have visited few times but this journey was unique in that I took note of certain things.
I know you might be wondering what I went there for. Well I went to teach in a youth convention @ His Presence Family Bible Church hosted in Ogodobiri.

The Speed boat movement and the galloping was exciting and as I watch the way the water was splashing I fell in love with nature more.

I was fascinated at how the captain was avoiding some parts, avoiding the Fisher men and women's net line areas and of course the water plants floating around some parts. In all this, I saw that in all you do there is no option for mastery. It's not enough to know something, you should strive to be a master in any craft you find yourself in.

Also I decided to travel to another town very early so as to have a new experience but I learnt how to sell. Well how they hustle for passengers in the morning was where my mind blowing insight came from. On getting to a nearby village the captain drove to the jetty and no one was there so he revised and moved almost to the beginning of the village and started heading to the jetty with little velocity and by the time we came back we found one passenger and we moved to about the end of the village and revised again and found 1 passenger again before proceeding to the next village.

Well my lesson was simple: in marketing do not assume everyone has heard about you or seen your product. Advertise over and over again. Review your strategy and try again. The more noise you make the more your presence is felt and like Ajulu will always say the best known always beat the best.

How water divide and created islands brought about the idea of multiple streams of income flow. But you must know that before getting into multiple streams you should have mastered and start earning from one before engaging another to avoid depression and discouragement. Well some persons have the ability to do many things same time without falling apart but my advice will be to engage and master 1 1st and little by little engage in related fields and all you wish.

Now let's talk about earning a living in the riverine area.
1. Fishing: It’s obvious that Fishing is what they do, yes you can get skilled in it and earn from it.
2. Dredging: if you have the finance to set up a sand dredging facility you would earn massively.
3. Wood/plank sawing logs mill: You can set this up since there are lots of trees around and make heart blowing cash from supplies
4. Fuel: This is something that might not look fancy to many but in business it's about the money o. These villages do not have fuel pump stations and so rely on the local agents that sell (black market). You can get a connected to a local refinery that supplies you fuel at good rate and all you need do is get a good speed boat with experienced captain to deliver your package.
5. Foodstuffs: I learnt that ice fish sells is a massive source of income to those who sell foodstuffs because they are tired of their fresh water fish. Aside from that they only get other foodstuffs on their market days or they will have to travel to nearby town.
6. Cosmetic’s: I won't talk more on this because it's a very vital part of daily necessity that is almost not found around.
7. Airtime and data sells: if you can start up a little kiosk where you print mobile phone recharge cards and sells of data you would be making a lot on daily basis, as they travel to nearby town to get airtime.
8. POS: Point Of Sell services are goldmines because there are no banks around.

Bonus:
A. Speed boat riding business: if you have the money to buy one.
B. Hire purchase on speed boat: You can buy and get some ride on hire purchase or fail returns
The regular boat used there is the "W19 fiber boat with 60hp outboard engine" which cost within 2MN and above
C. Graphic design and photo coping center.
D. Photography: you can set up a studio there and also get a make-up artist to partner with you or you hire one.
