Let’s address this properly before anybody starts replacing cameras, sensors, or modules unnecessarily.



• What P0344 Means

P0344 = Camshaft Position Sensor “A” Circuit Intermittent

In simple terms:

The engine computer is intermittently losing a proper signal from the camshaft position sensor.

This sensor helps the ECU determine:

• Camshaft position
• Fuel injection timing
• Ignition timing
• Engine synchronization

When this signal becomes unstable, the vehicle’s computer may disable several driver-assistance systems as a safety measure.



* Important Observation

Many owners immediately assume:

• Radar sensor failure
• Windshield camera problem
• Lane assist module fault

However, on newer Honda vehicles, ACC, Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS), Lane Keeping Assist System (LKAS), and Auto High Beam systems depend heavily on proper communication between multiple control modules.

If the engine management system detects a critical fault such as P0344, Honda may temporarily disable these advanced driver-assistance features.

This is often why multiple warning messages appear simultaneously.


* Most Likely Causes

1, Failing Camshaft Position Sensor

3, Wiring Harness Issue

• VTC actuator faults

can trigger camshaft synchronization errors.

1, Perform a full system diagnostic scan.

Not just engine codes.

Check:

• PCM
• ACC module
• LKAS module
• ABS/VSA module
• Collision mitigation system


2, Inspect the camshaft sensor wiring and connector physically.


3, Monitor live data for:

• Camshaft position signal
• Crankshaft synchronization
• Timing correlation

4, Verify charging system voltage.

Low voltage can sometimes trigger multiple electronic warnings simultaneously.


* Do NOT Do This

• Do not start replacing radar sensors immediately
• Do not replace the front camera blindly
• Do not clear codes repeatedly without diagnosis
• Do not ignore the P0344 code because the vehicle still drives

Please don't leave everything to the hands of your agents ooo, they are bunch of lazy human beings because there is no check and balances from the schools that pays their salaries. (2) do tafe or colleges offer a 2 year course (3) going through the route of tafe or colleges does it harm ones chance of a pr?
