Yeah I looked it up on Google & it worked well with a 3rd party app called USBJoyFreeIME
It was a pleasant experience with PPSSPP, I was able to complete some games as well. The 3rd party app just suddenly stopped working & I can't seem to get hold of other apps that'll work well.

Below are the screenshots.
The 1st & 2nd image is the gamepad & wireless receiver which you'll connect/plug to your OTG cable, then to your phone.

The 3rd & 4th image is the USB PSX Adapter which is another option I use to play games on my phone via OTG cable & a PS2 game pad plugged to the adapter. It's #1,200 sha.

I just need help with anyone that knows any trick in getting game controllers to work properly on an Android whether it's a 3rd party app or without any app at all.

Yeah but it's beyond just releasing phones with Type C ports, before launching their phones with 5000-6000mah battery, they should make sure it has at least 15-18watts fast charging. As far as mobile technology as come in 2020, you don't need to wait for 3-4hrs to charge your phone from 0-100%.

Take a look at xiaomi Redmi 8 with 5000mah. All you need is around 2hrs 20mins and it's full. Please ooo, make una no tag me as marketer, na from experience I dey talk.

If a type C port is a 2.0 rated version like the one on this redmi 9, then it's just as good as an ordinary micro usb coz it won't support any extra features like video out, audio out or that extremely fast charging that most flagships use, and that's coz flagship type C ports are version 3.0 and 3.2.

The only real advantage that the redmi has is the 1080p screen. Everything else is cosmetic.

You have a point on the type C port and I really respect that.

But you've to respect that the Redmi 9 is an entry level device, not a flagship device.

I watched an Indian youtuber's preview on infinix hot 9, mehn! I had to watch the video again to see if it was really infinix, the specs were nearly superb but still lacks in some aspects tho. If the youtuber's video is accurate then note 7 (asian version) will be much better.

Pls ask yourself, why transsion struggle against xiaomi, oppo, vivo, lenovo, nokia and even asus (just take a look at the Asus zenfone series) in world stage? I don't even want to mention samsung,huawei or apple. If not for nigeria, kenya and some parts of africa, where would they be?
