On Easter Sunday, I cooked, we ate then around 5.45pm my husband went for a church program, I was alone lying down, all of a sudden I heard boom, I stood up it was blood on the floor and blood was rushing from my body like tap, I called a nurse who work in the hospital that I register she came and called a senior nurse that was how my case was declared emergency CS , I was refer to a private clinic to perform CS and d doctor said CS is 600k, I was crying and my husband was crying 2 coz we don't have that amount of money, we came back preparing 2 go 2 a teaching hospital, when my neighbor who is a midwife came and said she has handled my case before, she checked me and said its not placenta previa and my cervix was open, that was how I entered labour and on Monday around 6.45am I gave birth 2 my son without CS, God broke protocol 4 me, plz join me and thank God. Wish all pregnant women safe delivery

No, I'm June, but my due date is late June so porting is highly unlikely for me. I've not heard of ewedu reducing weight, I've heard it helps with quicl delivery tho.

Baby things are really expensive in the market so I bought d basic essentials that I need,for soap, oil and lotion I bought cussons I don't know good cusson, I have baby and me powder two that my sister gave me and I have Neva used it, is it good to use on baby I should get another one

Yes, just the essentials, especially if this isn't your first, you don't need to buy many things. I'm focusing on baby clothes mainly and my own things. I don't know about that powder, but you can give it a try. If baby reacts, then stop using it. I usually use Babymed for powder. For soap and cream, it's been original black soap and ori. They react to any other thing I buy.

How many weeks are you and do you have constipation? If you are in your late second trimester or 3rd, then it's normal. It could be pelvic girdle pains or something else related to the heaviness of the baby. But if you have fever, or very heavy discharge, or bleeding along with it, then you need to tell your doctor. Regardless, you should still mention it at your next appointment just to rule out any issues.

That's what's going on in a lot of places now. You can try the health center. At least, where I'm using, they still do routine urine test and bp check. And if you have any complaints, they look further.

You can try ginger and honey tea. It's natural and safe, better than taking drugs.

You can get it from most pharmacies, just be sure of the type you are buying. I personally haven't used it in the past but some women do.

Please sometime last month I came here complaining of hotness of the stomach and waist pains thinking am having a miscarriage, I was asked to go 2 d clinic which I did. I went to d clinic met with d doctor and I explained everything 2 him, DAT I took worm tablet not knowing DAT was pregnant coz am I first timer, he did some test that am still pregnant but my Pcv is low up till now, am very pale and not looking healthy. Please wat can I do to boost my pcv and look healthy coz this is my second tremister

Vegetables help a lot with boosting blood. There is also the option of the iron tablets given in the hospitals, and you can try blood-giving herbs that some women sell in the market. You need to be sure of what you are buying if you opt for the herbs, but they are great for boosting blood too.

Hello mommas, please I am 8 weeks gone but since I knew. I have been dealing with fatigue, headache, body pains most especially stomach pain (inu rirun in Yoruba language). No food goes well with me except I took small quantity and I will still be hungry. If I take normal size, I wouldn't get myself until I vomit it. Please mommas, help me.
N.B: I am a 3rd time mum but this is my first time of experiencing morning sickness

This is probably the package for your 3rd journey, but it usually reduces gradually when you get to the second trimester (for some it stays till the end, unfortunately). Whatever your body is able to accept, take more of it and rest as much as possible. You'll be fine. I personally don't know of anything you can take to improve morning sickness; other mommas might know.

How do people reach out to help you? You didn't put any means. I remember you from October; I was October that year as well. Add a means in case people are touched to help; you know scammers use this same way to ask for money so some people can be skeptical. God is your strength.

With some women (me inclusive) the breastmilk doesn't start to flow well until after some days. The thing is, the amount of breastmilk a newborn baby needs in a day is quite little (you can research this). With this in mind, know that no matter how little breastmilk flows on the first or second day, your baby is getting food. The fear that a baby is not getting enough food puts the woman on edge, and the worst thing you can do when trying to get your body to produce milk is to be on edge, worried, or afraid. So, to help your body produce enough milk for your baby, these are the steps you should take. Firstly, put your baby to suck as soon as you can, shortly after birth is most ideal (an hour there about after if possible) but this is highly dependent on how the delivery went, it could take a longer time to hold your baby and breastfeed. Regardless, as soon as you can have your baby, breastfeed whether or not the milk is flowing. Keep putting the baby to feed. Secondly, ensure your baby is latching on the breast properly and not sucking air. A baby latching properly is very essential to allowing breast milk flow. Thirdly, eat healthily. Your body needs good food to produce milk, eat well when breastfeeding. You will notice you might need to eat more than usual. Fourthly, be calm and relax. Don't panic. Get enough sleep and rest. Remove worries from your mind, hold your baby close and enjoy the process. As an added bonus, drink hot fluids (pepper soup works for me) hot pap also works. You can make different types of pepper soup and store in your freezer ahead. With these steps, your milk should flow well all through your breastfeeding period. I hope this helps.

Hello mama's. Please am currently 35weeks . And in my last pregnancy I wasnot not lactating well. So I was doing more of breast pumping which I was able to exclusively feed my baby till 4month. But dis time am 35weeks gone and I would also be going for CS . So I would like suggestions on how to lactate well so I can feed my baby exclusively from the breast . I am not in naija were by I have all d help I need . Where I am it's just going to be my and my baby so I want to be able to breastfeed well and directly from d breast. Also pls I am noticing my nipples is a dry . The digestive system of babies at that age is still forming hence the issues passing gas and pooing, it's common in babies. You can try massaging the baby's tummy lightly to help release the trapped gas and poo. (watch videos on how to do this and do it cautiously) If done well, the baby can pass poo and gas even while you are massaging. Also, watch what you eat as a breastfeeding mom, take lots of water and fruits as this will pass into the breastmilk and help soften the baby's poo. These techniques are what worked for me. As the baby grows older, the digestive system will mature as well and most issues will resolve.

Good morning all, my baby seems to be struggling with poo. He is gassy, strains a lot, raises his leg up towards his belly and his face turns red. This most times disturbs his sleep. Also, his stomach makes sound at times. Don't know if it is colic that is disturbing him.

Someone advised that we get nospamin while another recommended another drop, is this safe for a 6 weeks old baby? Cus I saw a few people on Facebook and twitter saying that both of them can have harmful effects on a baby

You don't need to worry, children learn to talk at different times just as children walk and teeth at different times, there's no 'one-size-fits-all' for things like that. He will talk clearly in his own time and might even speak more fluently then that some other children that started talking before him, it all differs. What you need to do on your path is to keep speaking clearly to him, don't babble words. Speak to him like you will speak to any other person, even if he doesn't totally understand everything. He will communicate clearly with time.

Hello mums and dads in the house. Has anyone ever faced the challenge of extreme itchy eczema on their kids and was able to find a natural solution. Wanting to avoid steroids based on steroid cream withdrawal experience. Also steroid creams don't stop itchiness. Shea butter seems to be very drying. Agunmu naru has not cured it either.

So please if you have been in this situation and you found a natural cure to stop itchiness and eczema. Please share, what you used, your processes, challenges and how long it took to get results. Are you still using those things? Did you change your child's diet? And any other things you did. Thank you

I have seen a similar case, though it didn't get as severe because it was treated on time. Natural unscented black soap was used instead of any other chemical soap. Natural black soap is sold in markets and wrapped in paper. It was used with pure (original) olive oil on the body. The thing is to apply the olive oil enough after bathing and the dry scales will gradually come off. The baby's skin is very sensitive, hence the reaction.

Please who has experienced pressure in the ears. I feel pressured as if one of my ear is blocked. The tinging sounds every now and then .. who has experienced it? Is it a pregnancy symptom too?

I experienced the ear pressure in my last pregnancy. I had it even until my second trimester so I figured it must be part of the pregnancy package. Either way, you can get a doctor's second opinion about it if it bothers you.

Thanks for this. Did you lose mucus plug before the mild contractions? BCS I've not seen the show unlike my previous pregnancy where the show was d first thing I saw. The water leakage is my major fear. I use a general hospital and it's far from my house. The fear of those nurses sending me back home is my problem bcs I was sent home during my last pregnancy even with water leakage and contractions.

I didn't lose the mucus plug and there was no water, it had to be ruptured in the hospital but I was told that if I had delayed longer, I would have given birth at home. I understand your fears and concerns, but every pregnancy is different, and it's better to be safe and know everything is fine. The baby needs the water, so if it's leaking, I think it's better to check and be sure all is fine even if that means them sending you back home and returning there later.

Please, I'm 39 weeks pregnant. I started leaking water since yesterday afternoon but no contractions. Till now no contractions just more Braxton Hicks contractions and water is still leaking. Who has experienced this please? And how long will it take contractions to start?

In my last pregnancy, I started feeling mild cramps at 39 weeks. No contraction, no serious pain. But the mild cramps were lingering for a while so I decided to go to the hospital. On getting there, I was already almost 8cm dilated and I had my baby about 2 hours after. No water leakage, nothing. So, I would advise you check the hospital if it keeps coming just to be on the safe side. But then, let other mamas who have had similar experiences say how it went for them.
