Look, the north is the weak link of Nigeria no doubt, and I cannot disagree that the South as a whole would be better off without this union However, that does not mean the South would be some kind of Utopia without us. The factors that make Nigeria a failed state still exist in the south, and they would become amplified once the bogeyman (north) is out of the picture.
Both sides of the divide are being oppressed by the ruling class and that's that. Here, we've been convinced by our elites that prayers is the only solution, and one should focus more on the "hereafter" than silly matters like security, literacy, etc while you have been convinced that one Usman selling phones in Kano is responsible for your failure to pay rent.
Northern elites who benefit the most from your oyel are fully in bed with your leaders. You should spare some of that powerful charge you have against northerners for those leaders.
