They didn't email me to tell me my decision was ready. I saw that it showed decision ready on the portal and began to email them. Then they sent an email to me to tell me that my that the embassy of Finland Abuja mistakenly routed my application manually and electronically. And decision has been sent manually. They further requested I contact the embassy for my decision which I did, but was told decision had not yet arrived. Had to fwd the email back to migri and pleaded that my decision be sent via email which they did. Up till now, I haven't seen the so called manual decision from the embassy. Another thing to note is that cos my application was also routed electronically, I got request for supplements electronically as well. Never got any request manually or directly sent to my email. If you know what I mean.

thanks very much annie. the problem i have is its obvious mine was routed manually because i have no customer number and dairy number in my portal just the customer number given at the embassy after interview. so what it will be like is i will wait for the embassy to request i send supplement to abuja and they will also forward to finland and migri will verify and also send decision again? thats seriously going to be a long wait. what do the bosses in the house advise i do please? mail migri or continue waiting? thanks all

please annie, when you said migri said your decision is ready and they are sending it to abuja, did you mail them to enquire or they mailed you to tell you that?

Good day house. please i need more explanations. on monday will be exactly one month i visited the embassy. and my e-service is still on waiting for processing. my friend is telling me that my app could have been routed through paper route. some colleagues here on NL that had after me thats 21st june , 22nd have all had their e-service move to in progress as of today. and as they said a decision should be gotten within one month of visiting the embassy. please what could be the problem and how can i know if my app was routed through paper route? please the bosses in the house i need contributions please as am becoming worried. thanks

my friend visited the embassy on the 20th June same day with you and is status entered in progress on the 28th of June. this migri peeps sef. i am beginning to think the processing is not chronological

that means they have sent him/her a response?

Hi All, I am yet to receive a decision from migri after applying on the 6th of June and submitting supplementary documents on the 27th June. This is because, the Finnish embassy in Abuja mistakenly routed my application to migri manually. So my decision is ready , but I can't see it online. Migri has said, that my decision will be sent to the Finnish embassy in Abuja. The Finnish embassy in Abuja, after having contacted them, are yet to receive my decision. This is very very frustrating. I therefore advise that, for those that are yet to be interviewed, pls, make sure it is routed through the e service online platform from the embassy in Abuja. I have been sending several emails and making several phone calls to no avail. Has any body here ever applied through manual means?? Pls how did you get your decision? Did you have to travel again to Abuja? Or was it sent via attachments to your email?

Please how do we know if its routed manually or through e-services?

Coming from EFCC office in Abuja, a staff there insisted i travel to my state of screening with the sms even without my name being on the list. Now am confused with respect to what someone posted above me. The number in the text is seriously busy for hours now. Whats the wayforward?

I believe the short time frame used for notifying successfully shortlisted candidates is a plot to futher cut down the number. Please one who got sms and didnt see his name on the list, whats the wayforward?

My friend and her sister's name not on the list but got an sms, whata the implication please?

This is to inform that the residence permit card associated with the positive decision on your residence permit application has arrived at the Embassy of Finland in Abuja. The residence permit card can be collected in one of two ways.

Collection via courier company. You should send your passport with a cover letter through DHL, UPS, FedEx or any other courier to the Embassy using the address below. The cover letter should indicate your email address, telephone number, customer number and return delivery address, and authorize the courier company to return your documents to you.

You should pay in advance for the return delivery of the passport to the courier company at the same time of sending the passport to the Embassy. The Embassy will not return the passport if the return delivery is not paid in advance.

Collection in person. Residence permit cards can be collected in person from the Embassy from Monday to Thursday between 2pm and 4 pm. Kindly bring with you your international passport and a copy of this e-mail.

One euro now 295 naira (€1=295NGN). The implication of this is, 6,720 X 295= 1,982,400(~2m NGN) will now be required for RP.

Make una apply charpaly if you never apply. Things are changing dramatically!

what of persons that had applied with normal price and had submitted documents?

@mohrolake , I had similar issue and I guess we had our supplementary requests at about the same time

Although it's gone, I don't think you shoulda mentioned that it's unregistered.
Way forward: reapply or appeal or do both concurrently. Appealing might take some time and since you were not rejected on forgery grounds, reapplying shouldn't be questionable. Just try to cover loopholes in the next app.

Hi every1,pls ve been a follower of this group..pls i need help,i was asked to supplement my application due to some amount dat entered my sponsor's account towards d time he deposited d 6720euros into my acct..which he has clarified to d best of his knowledge[my sponsor is my dad,and he works at FIRS n also into a business of basic food supply,jointly sponsored by my parents]..i used his salary acct n business acct n made it clear d business isn't registered
I added a letter of clarification of source of fund d very first time i uploaded my documents on enterfinland
And now deyve denied me of RP thinking my sponsor's source of fund is not secured....yet dey confirmed d fact dat huge amount still flow in and out of my sponsor's acct even after sending d 6720euros to me
Am thinking of appealing n i dont knw how to go about it...sisters n brothers in d house please help me

i wonder what they meant by unsecure funds, when your sponsor works with FIRS. did you get letter of introduction from his work place and also his payslips?

I scanned the whole document but its too heavy, the limit is 4mb or so and the insurance certificate with the policy document is more than that so, i just upload the first page that matters then i will send the full document to d embassy. Lobatan

sending the hardcopy will it supercede the other pages that wasnt uploaded to migri?
