Politics › Re: Buhari's Social Program: Very Possible. by jkross(m): 10:38pm On Apr 19, 2015 |
ochejoseph: Honestly Buhari and the APC made many unrealistic promises in the lead up to the election!
Nigerians will hold him and the APC to their words as regards issues like
1. 5000 naira social security project for the unemployed Young Nigerians
2. 24 hours power supply or 12000MW in 8 months
3. Naira dollar parity or substantial appreciation
4. Feeding project for pupils etc
Oby my dear your analysis did not capture other critical components, statutory deductions and the revenue sharing formula (FG /States /LGA ) Revenue accruals is not like debit and credit.
Whether or Not Buhari and the APC has the capacity to deliver on these promises ONLY TIME WILL TELL!
For the sake of Nigeria I pray he succeeds
May God Continue to Bless this great Nation! Number 2 is very possible even at 10kMW for domestic consumption..however heavy industries will have to generate their own power just like Dangote |

OrlandoOwoh: These are selfish men that are driven by their ambition of being re-elected or given the ticket to the Senate. Who doesn't know that the President has no lived up to his promise for Ndigbo. Take the construction of the Second Niger Bridge, for example, why is taking this long? Even when it was awarded it was on a PPP basis. Does this arrangement, where the people pay for the bridge through toll for the next, say, 25 years part of the promise "Azikiwe" made 4 years ago in Onitsha? Umu Igbo, mepe nu anya unu ka Chineke me eziokwu. When people mention where is the bridge I can't help but wonder....did u people expect machines to move to site the next day after the president made the promise.....bro a lot of planning with take place....feasibility studies....environmental impact assessment etc....then design is not done over night cos every technical details goes into the design.....so pls no rational Igboman should hold GEJ to ransom cos of the 2nd Niger bridge.... |

doctokwus: Any ibo campaigning for gej and saying that's he's Igbo candidate is only speaking for himself. Is it not hypocritical that d same pple that cudnt rally round d APGA party and ojukwu are d ones claiming that gej is their candidate. I rather vote GMB I can entrust my destiny with than a gej I know wud bankrupt not just mine but generations of mine. Nwa go pursue ur destiny O..cos Nigeria problem no start today....the same promise wey buhari dey give nw na d same promise others give......Truth be say Nigeria problem big pass any sitting president today.....I just pray we get a government that will set the wheels of change in motion while the electorate ensures continuity with their votes even after that government steps aside....for me Buhari is not the fixer.beside am sick and tired of fulani rule....they brought the whole woes upon Nigeria with their born to rule mentality but let the people decide come feb14 |

Justcash: Funny how people expect miracles from former leaders that had absolute power but could not muster even a microcosmic development for Nigeria. The same clueless goons that decapitated Nigeria are being expected to save the same nation.
If Buhari couldn't do anything better than witch hunt with absolute power, how can he perform better with shared authority? It is simple maths. You are so so on point...... |
