hello House, It anoda week in a special Month. it's actually the middle of the year. Funny enof, June 1st was my birthday(not impt?). Hey, we should all relax. June is going to be a testimony month to all. There are going to be like 3 T.S free for all. News reaching me from a reliable source is that Ofada would be occupied by non-corpers this tym but i also heard that we are going to be much in T.S so as to make up for the backlogs remaining.

Please, the rumors that all of us going into training wud be placed in Marketing is actually UNTRUE. a lot of guys who finished were placed in various depts in the Bank. Though marketing in inter is @ the peak now.Everone is a potential marketer.However,Training pay is cool.

I really would be excited to meet a lot of us in T.S. it wud be so nice to meet new friends from nairaland.

Just get ursef ready.

Hi House,

it's another week.We should expect some good things this week. Richydammy so nice to hear from you. Please just keep the hopes alive. We would all get there. I would love to know how many we are remaining? ie from NOV'07 set

To all my Ph hopefuls, keep your post coming.

God is REALLY able.

P.S Jman is Joseph.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by Jman: 9:05am On May 28, 2008
Guyman, i thank God for you cos your post Subject " I am dying" scares me a lot. anyway, it quite amazing that 84 people are being trained in a T.S!!! that's quite much. it only shows that inter had discovered that they have to be up and doing to reduce the numbers on the waitlist. Does anyone have an idea of the remaining hopefuls on central list?

I called HR yesterday and for the first time, the person who spoke to me was nice. He assured me of being called soon. He said they are seriously on the matter. I  felt impressed cos if you had ever talked to them before, u wud understand, that shows that the HR dept may have sensed some relief. Inter and Pressure!!!!

I strongly would suggest to the HR or those of you who wud be there that Inter should imitate 1st Bank where u after ur medics, u go online and know when u are scheduled for Training instead of the endless and uncertain wait.it actually put a lot of relief than just WAITING.
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by Jman: 5:19pm On May 26, 2008
@RICHYDAMMY

Thanks a lot for the information and please don't be deterred by the negative comments made. You have been the best.

@HOUSE
i just hope everything goes well early  June cos from all indications, 3 T.S would be vacant then and Ofada would accomodate some hopefuls since the backlogs of corpers have been cleared.

To all PH hopefuls, pls don't be discouraged. At least they have started calling some of us, even if it's really FEW compared to odas.

May God Help us ALL

Dear House, pls i would want you guys to help me confirm this gist, i just heard from a friend that all those who finished from T.S were sent to their various branches as MARKETERS. if TRUE, then I would want to know what is the essence of the 10 weeks training? are we going to be trained for 10weeks to become marketers? there are various talents here.

please note that i am not saying marketing position isn't ok.

Peace. I'm out

My Good people in the House,

Some hopefuls have been called to startup training in Apapa UAC T.C on Monday 19th. Although,it's quite worrisome to really wait for a long time especially those of us that had done medicals since February. i want to use this medium to say that we should all be positive. Inter had indicated that they are committed to making sure that they resolve this longwait. this was clearly shown in the limited notice given to those that were called for Monday. Imagine the kind of improptu trips some of them would have to make.

From all indications, the longlist is becoming shortened. There is going to be another call for Surelere T.C just immediately after their completion which would probably be on the 6th of June.That would mean we would have to be optimistic for just few weeks from now.

Please for those who have been called, it would be very nice that the flow of information doesn't cease. We wish you all the best in the longest (duration) training school of all banks in Nigeria. Remember, it's just a stepping stone to another hurdle.

Richydammy and Ehrie, where are you guys? To all my PH hopefuls, atleast they've started calling us!!!!!!

Happy Customer, Happy Hopefuls Bank.

Godbless you Regalson for that comment. i hate pessimists. Where in life do good things come easy? where? it doesn't.anyone who is afraid of risks can't move far in life. So please rest ur case Fine cat. Look for your risk-free jobs

The latest i got today is that they have started a compilation of the next batch to resume training@ Apapa and it include those who had finished medicals since January ending. I wasn't told when they wud start callin but rumors from a friend have it that it would commence next week tuesday.

@gbangu

Pls dont speak for everybody, speak for yourself.if you are tired of sweet stories. look out for bitter ones.like "you may probably not be called cos you can't really spell correctly"

His stories are concise cos he's a hopeful for abuja and he just gave me a contact for PH hopeful. How many have you posted? even rumor?

@Richydammy

Thanks for the contact, called him but he said we should speak when he's less busy in the evenings. got my name to check up. Thanks.

Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Abuja Intercontinetal Set by Jman: 1:38pm On May 07, 2008
@richydammy,

i must say that you are really doing a good job especially for the Abuja hopefuls cos they get firsthand & classic info from you. how i wished your source could just give us a hint for PH hopefuls, we are just in dark and no one is talking. Not even when you call the HR.

Can you help so that you become most useful to all not just Abuja hopefuls. We also want to appreciate you and make put u in HR dept very soon smiley

From calculations, the guys in Ofada should be rounding up training next week. Pls does anyone in the house knows what happens next?

The wait is killing
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by Jman: 1:37pm On Apr 26, 2008
@ Richydammy,

Sometimes i wonder how you get your current info from? are u working in their head office. ur info are always precise and true. i just got the info on the review from an insider and just right here you had already known(Inter wants to start paying "bloodmoney"wink. pls keep us posted. u are doing a good job. maybe you could tell me why PH zone haven't been called

@trae_z

So good to know that you guys are doing well in T-skool.hope the stress isn't killing at all. I thank God for you. Please keep us posted. Your answer explains where inter intends to deploy the mass of their trainees to after completion of training. Is it true that you guy would complete your training in their various offices ie away from training school?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by Jman: 11:47am On Apr 24, 2008
Hello Nairalanders,

Can someone in this house explain why Intercontinental bank is still mass recruiting and conducting several interviews when there is a backlog of hopefuls awaiting training? what are they up to? Have you ever considered that?

The wait is becoming extremely long and there are indications that some hopefuls may not turn up for the offer just as they experienced in some training schools.

Do any one have any idea on when the next batch would be called and where?

Let's yarn
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by Jman: 2:39pm On Apr 21, 2008
Guyman,

that's cool.

the truth is that i actualy reside in Lagos. U understand the Job thing?it takes pple far. i missed the test in Lagos so i had to travel down to Ph where a friend submitted my CV. i do hope we see. Is it really true that one could change location after training? i am considering working in lagos if possible.

One Love.

Thanks for your comments. i am so happy you did. I was so suprised to see the advert on our national dallies (Guardian). i really needed a check on this. i am actually working so i tot i could give it a consideration since it's on weekends. i think i would disregard that. What would you suggest for a working person like me?
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by Jman: 1:55pm On Apr 21, 2008
Guyman, i really want to appreciate you for your answer. it isn't really easy not hearing anything about a particular zone. Are you from the south-south zone?your words were encouraging. there is one thing i know and that's we would certainly be employed but the questions that bothers everyone is how long are we waiting? i wish all inter hopefuls the best. it's really going to be a clique of smart & intelligent chaps in inter very soon cos of what i read from your comments.

All the best and thanks.

P.S : all portharcourt hopefuls should still logon and drop comments
Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Next Batch Of Intercontinental Bank Training? by Jman: 3:58pm On Apr 19, 2008
