Here is my advice/guideline in buying this phone and i hope it'll open the eyes of a lot of Nigerians. 1. When it's official specsheet is released, if it isn't powered by one of the MEDIATEK HELIO processors (HELIO x10 or HELIO x20 also known as the MT6795 or MT6797 respectively) it's not worth buying, just keep enjoying your Hot note. 2. After it's release, if it falls with the price range of 40000-50000 naira, it's not worth buying. I'll rather advise everyone to spend that money on a UK used Samsung Galaxy Note 3 and enjoy a flagship phone, instead of a flagship 'killer'. 3. If it falls within that price range of 40000-50000 without a fingerprint scanner, please do not waste your money. It's a marketing scheme; just like Tecno releasing a huge phone without a memory card slot (yes I'm talking about the useless string of phones tecno has been releasing lately including the Phantom 5) 4. If it comes with anything lesser than a 2GB RAM, no matter the price, please don't buy (i wonder why they'll make so much noise about this phone and then give us crap to buy). 5. If you all think I'm messing with you, please search for the specsheet of the elephone p9000 or elephone vowney. 6. Please if it comes with a plastic back case exactly like the innjoo note, stay away or you'll regret it in 11 months time (dunno why infinix will design the wonderful kevlar casing and then throw it away for cheap plastic) I don't hate infinx, i love their products. They started off with phones and are staying on that lane unlike some hyperactive fulz creating a TV (innTv). Of all Chinese androids in Nigeria (tecno, gionee, innjoo (especially innjoo they're the worst), iTel, and whatever) infinix is currently the best of them all. But if they falter greatly in my guidelines above with the coming Note2, i really advise anyone reading this to stay away from the phone. You can call it my sentiments. |
Everybody, abeg fuk innjoo jare. Really hating them right now. Loved my iNote so bad till they recently released that they won't be officially releasing a lollipop upgrade on the iNote and iNote pro due to overheating issues of the MTK6582 chipsets. What a waste of a great phone! Should've just gone for an infinix. |
Any new updates to the ROM |
henry007:Thanks man! Appreciated. |
D specs r false! Intel Atom Z3735 has a base speed of 1.33Ghz nd a burst speed of 1.83Ghz. It's wrong to use your burst speed on ur spec sheet Tecno. I'm also curious if the windows logo does anything on touch, where d speakers are located, how much bloatware is in this device, nd how long it takes d battery to charge and how long it takes to drain. |
Failure to live up to their name. Wudve been stranded for the past hour if i didn't have an alternative.

I really enjoyed reading this thread, its good knowing I'm doing a large number of things right. I may be young but i have a 5year old girl (long story, but technically true). I've read a lot here and this has encouraged me to do more. Thanks for all your comments. I love the feeling when my girl comes to me with any issue she may not have an answer to, then we talk about it, and allow her the chance to make d decision. I can remember the first time she told me bout a boy who touched her bum, she gave the boy a beating we talked about it at home, but the school had a lot to say to me the next day. Nothing can replace what i feel when she's happy during our conversations then smiles and says 'thank you , I love you daddy'. Oh yes, engaging childrens curiosity may be embarrasing most times, but i think to myself; if my parents had engaged my curiosity when i was much younger, i probably wouldn't have made some silly mistakes i did in the past . My gratitude for this thread can't be fully expressed. Thank you. |

suxxman: Nice idea. I have the app but never thought of this.Oga Suxxman is in. My other Oga's I dey wait una oo. |
Area!!! Guys I got a perfect idea of sharing these damn heavy Android apps and games. Anyone of u who has a PC and internet connection should be ready to . I wanna introduce the app TEAMVIEWER, and what it does is very simple. It provides u with an ID and password (which can be changed regularly) and allows remote access to anyone with ur ID and password. In effect I am saying that guys here can download the app team viewer and share their ID and password allowing other guys with team viewer to remotely add Android apps and games to their PC. Sey the idea pure for una eye?Even better, team viewer is also on android so u can remotely add files with ur android phone. Oya o! My oga's make una talk ooo. Me dey Lagos, IKD and I need Android games ooo. Just got a tecno M7 and a 32gb memory card. |
Spanishmario: Guruz in da house, watz d best deal btw these phones SG Note2, SG S3, Sony xperia SP, SG grand duos, HTC oneS nd HTC one XL for a picture nd game freak...add tecno M7 and or A2 to that list. if u don't mind buying a 64000 to 74000naira phone, the Note2 is what you're lookin looking for. |
Pls guys if I am allowed to say something about this phone. I've been using it for a week now and honestly, it is worth every 1000naira note of the 26k. Though the first one I got had Wi-Fi issues (which I returned 20hours after purchase) the replacement has been cool. The 8mp of camera is worth every pixel. The front 1.2mp is quite comfortable. Taking photos with the use of camera360 makes it look like a 5mp. All games hardly or dont lags (at least asphalt6 and moderncombat4 have not lagged). Unlike other tecno phones, the ROM doesn't get filled up misteriously. For a techno dual sim which even beats the phantom A+ in specifications and at a cheaper price, it's an Android jellybean 4.2.2 phone you all would want. Infact it's what I'm using in typing this post right now. . For now, no issues at all with the phone. |
we talked about it at home, but the school had a lot to say to me the next day.
