Philippine like Basketball games and they think all black guy are basketball players and from america. if you meet any Philippine people over here the first thing they ask if you play basketball because of the passion they have for the games.people here are so friendly and nice with good heart they welcome you.if you are studying here you can travel to japan or south Korea with your student visa for holiday.About people coming for tourist visa to hustle no work but you can move to other good Asia countries if you know your way so easily getting the permit can move to south Korea or japan for work.but you most have your permit at the immigration.what I like mostly is that immigration here open an visa extension to foreigner so you can easily get your visa extension at the immigration yourself without anyone helping you.the country is cheap to live with good electricity and water and transport bus air-condition bus.if you are interested and want to visit Philippine can send me a IM here will give you information you need to know.

Nigerian citizenship is not easy to come by.

Nigeria does not grant citizenship by birth (place) . Either of your parents needs to be a Nigerian before you can be granted citizenship. And for that, either of your parents or grandparents needs to have been born in Nigeria.

However, you do qualify for citizenship by naturalisation if you can prove you have stayed in Nigeria continously for at least the past 15 years. I must warn that there are so many tasking requirements to be met, one of whom is getting the recommendation from the governor of the state where you reside.

Note: You must also renounce your citizenship of Benin before you can apply. Nigeria does not allow dual citizenship to those who are not of descent.

my parents are from Benin Republic but gave birth to me and my siblings here in Nigeria and we've spent over 20years here.
Now we intend to claim being a Nigerian citizen, even tho' while growing up we used ogun state(because it's share border with where we're from in Benin) as our state of origin due to ignorance.
So the question is,hope the state of origin we have used ignorantly won't affect our dual citizenship?
And what are the necessary documents/steps to take in order to claim citizenship by birth?

if i hadn't schooled in the school, i wouldn't have known how substandard the school is.
The Academy is just overrated.
lack of basic facilities and poor hostel conditions(jam packed cabins) coupled with substandard lecturers and lack of basic teaching aids and technology(no training vessel).
A maritime school where you are not even taught how to swim(except you register and pay for STCW courses).
You are subjected to harsh military training and left with little or no time for your books.
i wouldnt wish my enemy to study there. In conclusion, at OP, i don't think you made a mistake studying there, you were obviously just misinformed about the credibility of the institution
