Jobs/VacanciesRe: Apply For African Union Youth Volunteer Corps (AU-YVC) 2018 by JO2020: 12:36pm On Sep 06, 2017
Today is the 6th day of September. About 20 days against the backdrop that eligibility notifications would be sent to applicants starting from the 15th day of august. We are still hoping while we go about our daily engagements. I want to suggest that whosoever receives the message first and is on this platform should endeavour to alert us. Best of luck to all of us. Thanks

I guess it has turned to insult. Well, I won't start exchanging words with you. That's all I can say to you.
Our self development is not only tied to our achievements alone or getting recruited by DPR, it goes beyond that even to the manner with which we attend to the needs of one another. How we answer questions matters in our day to day interaction. Some will ask us questions that may not appeal to our sense of reasoning, let us not crucify them or drive them to reproach, rather let us in a diplomatic way position the questions rightly and provide appreciable answers to them such that the one who asks the questions will learn at thesame time appreciate us. However, to those who ask questions, I will admonish that u should not ask questions out of haste or deep curiosity. Calm down, take ur time and process the questions that u will like to ask.. Conclusively I will say we should stop throwing hate or abusive speeches against one another on this platform. No one is all knowing. Let us acknowledge one another 's personality and dignity. Best of luck to all of us. Thanks

When you say "expect good news next week", you still haven't said anything yet. Tell us what and what will happen next week then we will know you are talking. Because people on this forum are hungry for information doesn't mean you can just post any information you like just for the sake of it. This is not funny
You people who allow teasers to stir up ur curiosity to no avail should learn how to look beyond some baseless information about DPR. Pretend as if u don't care as it were and move on. Silence at times connotes maturity and an act of bravery over trivial and insignificant matters. Whenever DPR makes the next call, it will appear to all either via a direct or an indirect means. Don't get popped up over whatever whoever says about what next with DPR. Relax, at the commencement of the next phase, we shall all see the real thing. By then no one will have to BOBO another. So I beg you, pls calm down. If it is yours, u will certainly get it.

Attention all. Please go and read your GMAT if you are shortlisted for graduate trainee. I have written dpr test before for the post of graduate trainee. The questıons that was give to us was from GMAT. English, maths, verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning and current affairs. If you study well you will pass the first stage. While the second stage was in two segment. First you will be given a topic or the will ask u a question for u to provide d answer within some seconds. As u are talking d have started scoring u including ur dressing, grammar and composure. Second segment, we were taken to a computer room and a diskette (then) we given to us. At that point if u are not computer literate u have started failing already. So u need to slot in d diskette open it and start answering d questions after which you type your name save it and print out. D hard copy and d diskette were submitted to them. Third stage which was the final stage is oral interview. You need to be current. Know everything about dpr. Read their history. Read everything about the regulatory bodies. OPEC, ECOWAS, the economic trend etc. Though my status is still showing pending. I applied for experience hire.

Though I got to the final stage but was not employed. But two of my friends were employed. They are big shot now. I wish everyone one all the best. All I know is that their test is not hard if u study well. Know your elementary mathematics. All d best
. Thanks boss. Would the stages aforementioned be encountered on same day?

To all that have been called for documentation, congratulations. To all that have not been called, congratulations. To all to whom APL shall be given, congratulations in advance. If u have not been summoned to Abj for the seeming successful candidature by documentation, relax and don't get ur self swayed to the wit end of perplexity born of peoples' opinion and hearsay. If u are called fine and if u r not called fine all the same. Believe in ur self and what u could do with ur brain . FCSC is a tip of an ice berg. There are many more offers available to be grasped. Develop urself , count ur losses , mourn over them, sweep them off, pray and then move on. Don't kill ur self before u die just because FCSC called who and did not call who. I believe those of us who deserve the job and were not called or yet to be called will either be called upon soon to do what others have done or be called to a greater office by some other commission aside FCSC. I was shortlisted too and had to do a trip from Ibadan city to Abj. I Have what on a norm people will term an excellent result from an excellent institution with an excellent brain to God be the glory. Should I now start panicking because FCSC is yet to summon me for a job that I deserve? If I get it in times to come fine and if otherwise, a better offer is coming. So in essence my fellow hopers, what ever ur hands find doing now, do it well in dignity, honesty and transparency. Life is good and only for those who believe it is!! Congratulations once again to us who will get APLs at last!!!!!!

Sorry I forgot the date smiley, we did the oral interview 26th November, 2015.
I did call the HOD few days ago and he told me list of recommended applicants has been sent to PG school but due to a strike currently on, the PG school has not made any decision. What I thought was once someone is recommended, the department sends one a message but I was worried why I haven't gotten such, but since you also have same situation, it means it is a general thing. I'm hoping PG school do the needful soon so we could know our fate. In the meantime, i am trying to get contacts of the applicants in the department so we could make contact and always inform ourselves when anyone gets a recommendation.
Please send me a mail because I have two other contacts on my list and we have been communicating quite well, akeemaths@gmail.com
pls guys, what is the next step after one is recommended?
