It would be nice to get facts before uttering rubbish online, most project done the government compensate land owners, like the rail project my in-laws and those around there were adequately compensated for their property as far as agricultural produce, but a situation where families have been compensated and host community leaders and youths are also asking for outrageous demands then its unfair to the government.so if the government decide to drop the project due to frustration of this sort don't blame them. |
please its easy but it might take a week or so,squeeze eferin rub on palms till its watery then place it between ur bum, directly at d spot where you have d protruding pile.do that at night and every morning when going out.leave it at the spot for some hours before removal.please note its going to be very peperish making u uncomfortable but please bear it.And also wash some of it and drink, I believe with time it would vanish.Don't waste thousands of naira on this please. |
While the Bible does not directly answer the
question, ‘When was Jesus born?’ it does
describe two events surrounding his birth that
lead many to conclude that he was not born on
December 25.
Not in winter
1. The registration. Shortly before Jesus
was born, Caesar Augustus issued a
decree ordering “all the inhabited earth to
be registered.” Everyone had to register in
“his own city,” which might have required
a journey of a week or more. ( Luke 2:1-3 )
That order—probably made to support
taxation and military conscription—would
have been unpopular at any time of year,
but it is unlikely that Augustus would have
provoked his subjects further by forcing
many of them to make long trips during
the cold winter.
2. The sheep. Shepherds were “living out of
doors and keeping watches in the night
over their flocks.” ( Luke 2:8 ) The book
Daily Life in the Time of Jesus notes that
flocks lived in the open air from “the
week before the Passover [late March]”
through mid-November. It then adds:
“They passed the winter under cover; and
from this alone it may be seen that the
traditional date for Christmas, in the
winter, is unlikely to be right, since the
Gospel says that the shepherds were in
the fields.”
In early fall
We can estimate when Jesus was born by
counting backward from his death on Passover,
Nisan 14 in the spring of the year 33 C.E. ( John
19:14-16 ) Jesus was about 30 years old when he
began his three-and-a-half-year ministry, so he
was born in the early fall of 2 B.C.E.— Luke 3:23 .
Why is Christmas on December
25?
Since there is no evidence that the birth of
Jesus Christ occurred on December 25, why is
Christmas celebrated on this date? The
Encyclopædia Britannica says that church leaders
probably chose it “to coincide with the pagan
Roman festival marking the ‘birthday of the
unconquered sun,’” at the time of the winter
solstice. According to The Encyclopedia
Americana, many scholars believe that this was
done “in order to make Christianity more
meaningful to pagan converts.” |
History of Christmas customs
1. Celebrating Jesus’ birthday: “The early
Christians did not celebrate [Jesus’] birth
because they considered the celebration
of anyone’s birth to be a pagan
custom.”— The World Book Encyclopedia .
2. December 25: There is no proof that
Jesus was born on that date. Church
leaders likely chose this date to coincide
with pagan festivals held on or around the
winter solstice.
3. Gift-giving, feasting, partying: The
Encyclopedia Americana says: “Saturnalia,
a Roman feast celebrated in mid-
December, provided the model for many
of the merry-making customs of
Christmas. From this celebration, for
example, were derived the elaborate
feasting, the giving of gifts, and the
burning of candles.” The Encyclopædia
Britannica notes that “all work and
business were suspended” during
Saturnalia.
4. Christmas lights: According to The
Encyclopedia of Religion , Europeans
decorated their homes “with lights and
evergreens of all kinds” to celebrate the
winter solstice and to combat evil spirits.
5. Mistletoe, holly: “The Druids ascribed
magical properties to the mistletoe in
particular. The evergreen holly was
worshiped as a promise of the sun’s
return.”— The Encyclopedia Americana.
6. Christmas tree: “Tree worship, common
among the pagan Europeans, survived
after their conversion to Christianity.” One
of the ways in which tree worship
survived is in the custom of “placing a
Yule tree at an entrance or inside the
house in the midwinter holidays.”—

your question is indeed timely but first reason wit me as u read this,1 john 5:19 says"we know that we originate with God but the whole is lying in the power of the wicked one." “It is unthinkable for the true God to act wickedly, for the Almighty to do wrong!”job 34:10 as u can see God is not a wicked God nd d world is in d power of the wicked one,so in his due time he would intervene in our matter, that's y he has assured us 2 Peter 3:9" Jehovah is not slow concerning his promise,as some people consider slowness, but he is patient with you (us) because he does not desire anyone to be destroyed but desires all to attain to repentance. "so no matter wat happened to his servants now though painful but the hope ahead that his kingdom would put an end to all mankind suffering, nd he would be our protector in the nearest future would give more strength to his servant to do more.let me add this brief illustration" a child was very sick,nd dis sickness has really drain this child leaving him/her in pain, but when the father took the child to the hospital the doctor said the child would undergo an operation which would b painful. The question now is would d father allow the child undergo this operation which would lead to total relief for the child? or would he allow d poor child to continue suffering d pain so as to avoid d operation cos he is scared of wat might happen during operation.well your answer is as good as mine,d father would allow d operation to b carried out. so also today, wat we face in general as servants of God is only for a time being after a while God shall surely intervene.let's not forget that his only begotten son suffered such as well,so servants of God should expect such too,but put dia faith in God that he would surely remember them in his kingdom. |

Fulani herdsmen hv bin in existence before buhari nd hv bin formenting trouble for long before now, so dia bad behaviour nd way of life should not b used as a front against d ruling party.tho very bad wat dey r doing,I believe every case should b taken to d ryt channel nd trashed not use it to Incite others in anyway |
