Romance / Nawti Sunday Story by John311: 5:35am On Sep 30, 2012
It's amazing how people take the lil things in life for granted.

Especially rich kids, and some razz girlfriends who have real good, rich, generous boyfriends.

Can you imagine my roommate Olivia is having a fight with her boyfriend on the phone over a gown right now!

They had gone shopping together last weekend, he bought her this box full of beautiful clothes and shoes.

When on their way home as she told us, she had seen this gown on display at another shop, so she mentioned it to him she liked it.

Just to surprise her, her bf secretly went back to the shop, bought it for her and had the boutique deliver it to her today on campus with some flowers.

And instead of beautiful, super lucky Olivia to be super excited as I am (wishing I was in her shoes), she's here complaining this wasn't the exact gown she had pointed out to him.

And guess how much the gown cost her bf - N35,000!

Gosh!

Really, It's so true we never know what we have until we lose it.

Unless you are like me,

26 years old,
totally a nobody from the poorest of all backgrounds,
Only child to my poor mother who has been down with stroke for the past four months
Having to do menial jobs to support myself and my sick mom, and get myself through University (my only source of liberation, I hope)

then you will definitely know what you have and you will fight to your last breath never to lose it!

It's Friday night and frankly, it's been a very trying period for me these last few weeks.

My sick mum isn't getting any better and our hospital bills are fast accumulating with threats by doctors throwing us out if we don't pay up fast.

After my last visit, the doctor told me I needed to give him N30, 000 this weekend.

So, somehow, I've managed to convince myself to try out going the extra mile, walk the streets tonight for the first time in my life to make that money cos I've pratically exhausted all my loan/begging options.

So you see why I'm kinda pissed off to think Olivia just blew N35000 on a gown and doesn't even seem to appreciate it while that's just about all the money I need right now to clear up my debts backlog or risk losing my mum.

Please, I hope you are not tempted just yet to judge me, call me names, tell me how ashamed of me you are as a woman for thinking this is the only option I have right now.

You never know what it really feels like till you are in that position.

I am from a very strong Christian family.

My mum raised me well despite her poverty, to always pray, never compromise my faith, never give my body to solve a problem.

But God, (wipes a tear), how do I get through this?

You know I need this money, tonight! Before Monday!

Thank God it's even Independence holiday on Monday so that means I have until Tuesday.

I can't let my mum have her treatment suspended.

Neither am I so excited in going out tonight to take a man's money for sexual favors.

It's a fact i will make quick cash tonight and that's all I need right now.

Maybe it's time to put this gorgeous body God blessed me with to use.

So, painfully, let the seduction begin.

Its 10:45pm and I'm ready to step out.

Dressed in my red short dress, really body hugging, bust enhancing, looking so hot, I walked out, into the streets of Portharcourt and boarded a cab to the most bubbling, oil boys club hangout Club 360.

And just as I had expected, I had barely walked into the club and I could feel a thousand eyes starring at me!

Quietly, I found myself a cool spot and in seconds this man walks up to me.

He wasn't that tall, almost totally bald and he was sweating through his short-sleeved collared shirt.

Eeww, on a very good day, God knows this guy isn't my spec but I guess all that matters right now is that he has the cash I know I want.

I tried to shake his hand, he tried to hug me, and that put my face almost directly into his armpit.

"Hi, You've got an amazing ass," he said.

"Sorry, I looked when you were walking in. I hope you don't mind. I am Jim, what's your name?"

I had all along being thinking of the fake story to cook up about myself when he asks but it seemed it didnt matter now.

Cos all along, Jim was looking my body all over in a conspicuous way.

He attempted to wink, but it seemed more like a tic.

"Thanks" I replied in the most convincing way I could to a sweaty, slobbering guy with the most obvious hard-on visible through his pants.

"My name is Nancy".

"Hmm, Nancy, pretty name" he asked..

He tried that wink again and as the first time, it failed again in a spectacular fashion.

"What would you love to drink?"

"Smirnoff" I replied.

"Nahhh!!! Not when you are with me. You can have all the Smirnoff in the world when you are with your school boyfriends but for now, let's have us some Henessey. First of all, we move to the VIP lounge. Here, give me your hand"

Wow! What a 'gentleman' I thought to myself as I gave him my hand.

Never judge a book by its cover ever again, Nancy!!

We got to the VIP area and Jim helped me to my seat.

He made sure I was comfortable and even when the drinks arrived, he kept on asking if I wanted anything else.

What was I to lose, so I told him I would love to have some meat (suya) with my drinks.

That meant we needed to leave the club and in seconds, we were seated at our new table, with my happy meal expensively looking as much as I knew it would have cost!

Once again, he asked if I enjoyed my meal and asked if it was cooked to perfection.

Everything seemed to be going down very fine.

We returned to the club, Jim took my hands and asked me to the dancefloor.

I was full (my real first, good meal for today), a lil high and my fav song of all time Brymo's Ara was playing, my mood never felt this good as we danced together.

At least not until I felt Jim's fingers grab my a*s and squeeze it soo .....

Jeez! It felt like someone suddenly slapped me back to reality.

What the hell did I think I was doing?!!

All of a sudden, I felt sooo sick to my stomach and actually had to run to the ladies to puke!

While at the ladies, I looked up at the mirror and never in my life have I ever hated myself!

That was when it hit me - I can't do this!!

But I've already gone this far with Jim, had him spend like over N20k on me already.

And it's sooo obvious what he expects from me tonight, his hard on had a voice louder than everyone's dancing in the club right now.

What do I do?

"Sweety, what happened? Was it the food? Jim asked me as I returned to our table.

"Umm, I just feel sick''

"Sick? Or you just don't like me? Tell me the truth"

"Jim, it's not that at all. You seem very nice. I'm just, I'm just suddenly not feeling well," I blurted out.

"You feel sick, or you're not into me, Nancy?" he asked again.

"You know, if you want, we can get to my hotel room. It's actually just around here. You could come and lie down and I can give you a massage. Since it's our first time meeting, once you're better, you could just give me a Mouth Action. How about N50,000? Probably the quickest N50,000 you'll ever make in your life, huh?"

Surprised, I looked up at him and even got more irritated at the thought of giving him a bj.

Suddenly, the money he was offering didn't even make the action tempting at all!!!

"I don't think so," I said.

"Look, Jim, I am so so sorry. It's just that I've never done this before and I'm not sure this is for me.
I've got a huge problem, my mum is lying sick, at the point of death at the hospital. And the doctors say they will throw us out if I don't raise some money. So, I thought I do this for some fast bucks. Truly, I'm not cut out for this."

"Come on, Nancy! I think you're cut out for it. Look at your body and that's why I'm offering N50,000!" he said, coaxing me.

'Listen to me, You'll do just fine. I will make you feel so comfortable. I'm not looking for a long-term thing. Let's have some fun. Life's short."

"Yeah, I — it's just that I have to go," I said. "I feel sick."

"I'm so sorry, really" I said to him as he sat in front of me, now looking very, very, very disappointed.

'Nancy, you're missing out, then," he said.

"I can find a new girl any time I want. I'll find one on my phone now. But I have a question for you. I am a businessman and I know you know time is money. If there's anything I hate, detest in life it's wasting time. You knew you were not cut out for this. then why did you f*cking waste my time?!

By now, Jim was sweating more, breathing heavily through his mouth.

His disappointment was visibly turning into anger.

Something about this man set off my fight-or-flight instinct.

Apologising all over again, I got up to leave.

"I really have to go, Jim. Please I'm so sorry" I said, picking up my bag, and hoping somehow that settles it.

I climbed down from the stool, catching my dress on the back of the chair and almost tripping.

Jim didn't even move to stop me or so I thought.

Cos I had barely moved out of the VIP lounge when these two huge men walked up in front of me, one held my hand and quietly, meanly said:

"Ma'am, you can't walk out on my boss like that. I will advise you go back and do whatever he asks you to."

The hairs on the back of my neck, hands, even the ones on my eyes stood up as I froze on that spot in fear!

Good Lord, what have I gotten myself into!!!

Timidly, practically shaking, as scared the hell out of me as possible, I slowy returned to Jim's table and to my surprise, he smiled at me and shook his head.

And said:

"Nancy, no man likes it when a woman tries to pull a fast one on him. I walked up to you, you did nothing in anyway to discourage my getting closer to you.
I took care of you and now, it's time for you to take care of me, you suddenly feel sick?
Well, I am going to make it simpler for you. So, you take your pick.
You either follow me to my car right now, quietly give me a BJ and we say our goodbyes.
If you please me well enough, well, I could add some cash to it.
On the other hand, if you insist I'm sooo sickening for you, I will quickly let my men have you, and do whatever they want with your mad, hot body while I watch! Have you ever had a Group Intimacy before?

Celebrities / Singer Davido Wanted By Police; AIG Orders His Arrest by John311: 2:11pm On Sep 15, 2012
Y'all remember popular singer, David Adeleke, aka Davido, once allegedly assaulted a taxi driver in Lagos and that his publicist, Valerie Obaeze, claimed via an e-mail that the singer knew nothing about the incident.

In a related development, Hashiru Azeez, the employer of the taxi driver, whose name is Femi Ajibola, told CRIME DIGEST that Davido himself said that the taxi driver was assaulted by his cousins.

Azeez confirmed that he gave a Toyota Corolla to Ajibola on hire purchase.

“I gave it out to him on hire purchase. When Ajibola initially told me about this matter, I did not believe him. Later, I went to Beni’s Apartment in company with Sgt. Nuru Umar, who is the Investigating Police Officer, and we found out that he was right.

“We went to the DPO and he called Davido’s father after I took time to explain who the boy was,” Azeez said.

Immediately after the story was published, the young woman who was conveyed in the cab to see Davido allegedly threatened Ajibola at the taxi park where he operates.

“I got a call from Ajibola that Susan allgedly went to the park to threaten him. She said that if he was claiming that he lost N100,000 during the incident with Davido, she would pay the money. Then she asked if the cab driver had forgotten that she lost her cell-phone, which was valued at N175,000.

“She said that Ajibola would have to produce her phone because he was the one that took them to the hotel in his cab. She added that she would deal with him,” he said.

The car dealer said he had advised his employee to report the matter at the nearest police station.

However, since the case had initially been reported at the Bar Beach Police Station, Ajibola was directed to go and lodge his complaint there.

Azeez said, “Ajibola went to Maroko Police Station, but he was directed to the Bar Beach Police Station because he had already reported the case there.”

Azeez said that a petition had been written on his behalf to the Assistant Inspector-General of Police in charge of Zone 2 about the incident. He stated that somehow, the Adelekes got wind of this and contacted him for a meeting.

“A lawyer, Malachy Ukwamadu, wrote a petition on our behalf to the AIG Zone 2. We had written the petition even before the publication. Somehow, the Adeleke family got to know that we had written a petition and they got someone to ask me to come with Ajibola to the Bar Beach Police Station. They said they would bring Davido to the station. The boy had surrendered himself and the police were ready to prosecute him. It was hard to believe, but I was optimistic,” the car dealer said.

Azeez said he was advised not to honour the invitation by a policeman who warned that the case might be tilted to the advantage of Davido.

“The policeman warned that there was an ulterior motive behind the invitation. He said the moment that Ajibola stepped into the Bar Beach Police Station, the case would change and turn against him.

“This prompted us to invite a lawyer to go to the station instead of Ajibola. Ukwamadu was out of town. So, we invited Bar. Ademola Olamide. While we waited for them to bring Davido, the IPO told the lawyer that they wanted to negotiate.

“Olamide said that he thought they wanted to bring in Davido and why was it that it was the police that wanted to negotiate. Should they not be neutral?” Azeez said.

The lawyer insisted he would not talk to the police unless they brought Davido to the station. The IPO then phoned somebody who spoke with Olamide and agreed to meet him.

When meeting took place on Aug. 12, the lawyer informed Azeez that the picture painted by Davido was different from what he had learnt from the complainant.

Azeez said, “I was asked to come over to explain. Fortunately, we had our witness. While the counsel was disputing what we said, we called in the witness. He is a driver and he drove along with Ajibola; he had some guys in his vehicle and I learnt that those girls brought those guys.

“When we brought in our witness, they calmed down. Davido then said that he was not the one that assaulted Ajibola. He said that the guys we were claiming were his bodyguards were actually his cousins. He said that it was Bayo, one of his cousins, who beat up Ajibola.”

Suspecting a foul play somewhere, Azeez asked what business Bayo had with Susan since she was Davido’s girlfriend.

“We told him that from his conversation, Susan was his girlfriend and why would Bayo beat up Susan? At a point, they said that they would like to compensate Ajibola and that they wanted to know how much Ajibola made in a day.

“They said that they would pay two weeks’ earnings. I was not there when they were discussing the money issue. I told my lawyer that there was no basis for compensation since he denied assaulting Ajibola. I said he should produce those who beat up Ajibola, that the police should do their job and we would know what step to take from there,” he said.

Azeez told CRIME DIGEST that Ajibola’s car keys had not been returned to him.

He said that an agency that fights for the cause of the less privileged had contacted him and was ready to help out in the matter.

“The agency champions the cause of the less privileged and they are willing to assist us in seeking justice.

Davido claims he was not the one that assaulted the driver; but how did he get hold of the car keys before handing it to his father and later, the DPO?

“Why would he take someone’s car keys and keep them? Up till now, nobody has confirmed if Davido has written any statement regarding this case. We still believe that he is above the law until he comes out to say his own part of the story. If at all we agree to negotiate with him, he should accept that he was wrong to have assaulted a man that is 16 years older than him and apologise for his behaviour. Then we will know what to do from there,” he said.

When CRIME DIGEST contacted Susan on the phone, a male voice answered the call, claiming it was a wrong number.

However, Obaeze, Davido’s publicist, maintained that her client knew nothing about the incident.

In an e-mail to CRIME DIGEST, the publicist wrote, “Thanks for your enquiry and effort to get our own side of the story, but our previous statement (still) stands. Davido was neither aware of nor involved in any incident involving the assault of a taxi driver or the illegal seizure of his keys. He does not condone violence in any form and will not be commenting further on this matter.”

The Police Public Relations Officer, Zone 2 Police Command, Femi Balogun, confirmed that the case was being handled by his command.

He said that the AIG had ordered that Davido should be brought before him with the Toyota Corolla used as taxi.

He said they did not know where Davido is and he would be picked up once they have information on his whereabouts.

The story is not mine..... Got this from a BLOG

I am a top executive of a very successful conglomerate my father founded. I resumed the job early this year when I returned from the U.K after completing my MBA.

As a result of my job, I usually find myself frequenting places I ordinarily wouldn’t want to- Ikoyi club, society weddings, conferences, etc. I’m a geek for the most part, and something of a recluse. I’d rather stay in my house at the end of day and watch series of ‘Family Guy’ or ‘Spartacus’, ‘House’ or any of my other favorite series. When I became Deputy CEO of the company, I realized that I had to start hanging out at these places to build a social circle, mostly for business reasons. I am not a very sociable person, but with the help of my more outgoing cousins, I’ve been able to build a pretty decent network of Lagos ‘big boys’ between January when I returned and now.

During a conference in Lagos this year, I was approached by a young lady banker. She was working in the Marketing department at one of these newly-renamed banks- one of the banks that AMCON acquired and recapitalized. She’s pretty young- about 7 years my junior. I’m 28; this lady is about 21. You know how young these graduates are these days.

Anyway, she walked up to me and started persuading me to consider opening up a bank account with her bank and told me all the benefits of the account, etc. She looked so innocent and desperate, and practically begged me for an opportunity to see me again so that she could convince me. I ended up giving her my complimentary card. I usually don’t just give out my card like that, but I did.

Three days later, when I was hanging out with my new-found friends and my cousins at a bar at one of the Hotels on the Island during the early evening, this girl called me and reminded me who she was. She said she really needed me to open an account, and that she was eager to convince me on why I needed to open an account. My friends noticed I was talking to a girl on the phone. You know how guys are; they teased me and asked me to just play around with her and invite her for drinks.
I asked her to come over to the Hotel, and surprisingly, she said she would be there in 20 minutes. The branch she worked in is on the Island, so she apparently took a Bike and came to meet us. This was about 6pm. The girl came, and my friends all saw her. They smiled and talked among themselves in hush tones, and I talked briefly with her for like 5 minutes and told her I would make a decision on banking with her or not. She was desperate from what I could see, and she was eager to get my account.

When she left, my friends all laughed mischievously and told me in plain terms that I had to Bleep the girl. They went on talking about how all these bank marketers all get bleeped by different men before getting deposits, and insisted that I must not be any different. Now, I’m not a virgin; I’ve had my own fair share of sex in the past, but I’ve never been one to take advantage of a girl. I knew she was desperate as she had a target to meet up to, or something of the sort. But when you’re a guy hanging out with guys, it’s pretty difficult to be the odd one out. All my friends made me promise that I’d sleep with the girl. I promised; I didn’t want to look like some geek. And I’m really trying to feel among these guys.

To cut a long story short, two days later, when I was in my office, this girl called me and tried persuading me to bank with her. As she was talking to me on phone, I asked her jokingly: “What are you willing to do in order for me to open an account with you?”

She hesitated and then she told me: “Anything you want sir.”

Gbam! That was my cue. I asked her to meet me at one hotel for drinks later that evening. I asked my PA to book a room for me at the Hotel. She came to meet me. We had drinks, we chatted. She told me that her bosses had ordered her to deliver N10million to the bank that month, and that so far, she hadn’t gotten anything. Her job was on the line, and she had only just started working there 3 weeks before. I asked her to follow me to the room. She did. I slept with her.

Surprisingly, it turns out she was doing it for the first time. She was actually a Virgin. The bed sheet was stained with her blood and all that stuff, and I was just amazed. I thought being a marketer and all, that she would have been sampled many times. But no, she was a virgin. When we finished, she was shy of looking at me in the eye. We didn’t talk much. I gave her money for a Taxi, and gave her the name of the Finance director of the subsidiary I am in charge of. I asked her to meet him the following day to open up a corporate account. I instructed the guy to open up an account worth a few hundreds of millions- probably enough to meet her target for the next 2 years if there if such a thing in commercial banking circles. I don’t know how these banks work.

Anyway, she called me and thanked me profusely for saving her job. My friends now know I have slept with her, and I have solidified my place among them as a ‘bad’ guy.

The issue is this: I haven’t been able to stop thinking about her. It’s been like six weeks now. I haven’t called her since then, even though she keeps sending me text messages asking after my wellbeing and thanking me for banking with her. She deals directly with my Finance guy so we don’t talk money ever. But I think about her every day. I think I actually have feelings for her, and the idea that I was her first makes me feel like she should belong to me. I’ve never been a Lady’s first. I’m actually going crazy with thoughts about this girl.

Am I crazy? Should I call her up and ask her out? How would that feel? How would she react? Also, considering that my friends all see her as the bank ‘LovePeddler’ would it be a good idea to still ask her out? It could kill me rep among them. I’m not looking for sex from her; I’m looking for something real, something intimate. I want something that’d last- probably forever.

I’ve never felt this way about any other lady in a really really long time. What should I do?

Romance / Ladies Would You Date/marry A Younger Man? by John311: 1:09pm On Sep 07, 2012
As a woman dating or marrying a younger man is pretty much taboo in our culture , but celebrities like Darey Art Alade (whose wife Deola is 8 years older, they’ve been married 5 years and have 2 Children) and Peter Okoye of P-Square (whose girlfriend Lola Omotayo is about 6 years older, they’ve been together 6 years and they have a son and another on the way) have broken with tradition and embraced a trend which was been attributed to

I’ve asked my friends, and roughly 90percent say they would never entertain the thought of a younger guy (Naija girls) but it seems the men are more open (as long as the age difference isn’t more than 2 years and she doesn’t look older…LOL). I have a friend who is being actively pursued by a guy 2 years younger, this man treats her better than any of her exes ever have but she says she’s not going there cos of the age thing.

In our society it’s perfectly okay for a man to be with a woman decades younger, but when the roles are reversed the woman is called desperate and the man must be with her for her money.
So here’s what I want to know Ladies are you open to dating/marrying a younger man? what’s your age limit?
And this goes for the men to…would you date/marry an older woman? And what’s your age limit?

Politics / Obasanjo : N5000 Note Will Kill Production by John311: 11:34am On Sep 07, 2012
Former President Olusegun Obasanjo on Thursday pitched his tent with ordinary Nigerians to condemn the introduction of a new N5,000 note into the economy, saying the introduction of the N5,000 note would kill production and affect small businesses negatively.

Obasanjo, who spoke at a roundtable advocacy forum organised by the Institute of Directors, Nigeria, in Lagos, condemned the approach of the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Mr. Lamido Sanusi.

Olufamous.com gathered that Obasanjo insisted that the manner in which Sanusi is fighting inflation by removing money from circulation was improper.

While speaking on the cost of doing business in the country, Obasanjo called on stakeholders and government agencies to rise up to the challenge.

He said some observers had suggested that the Vision 2020 blueprint was somewhat of an ambitious agenda, which was unrealisable considering the daunting challenges confronting businesses in the country.

Obasanjo said the 2012 annual report of the International Finance Corporation and the World Bank showed that a record number of African countries took decisive steps to encourage more local entrepreneurs to come into the formal economy over the past 12 years but Nigeria was nowhere to be found.

He said, “Across the continent, 15 countries lowered barriers to entry for new businesses, 23 facilitated access to credit, and seven made it easier to pay taxes. Nigeria is not in any of these leagues.

“In its 2008 report, Nigeria ranked 108 out of 178 countries and in the space of four years, we rank 137 out of 183 countries measured. This is a damning report on our business environment and, therefore, calls for more concerted efforts by various stakeholders on how to ensure that this trend is reversed and the Nigeria business environment is made more conducive for investments and less costly for businesses to thrive," he said.

"We cannot aim for 2020 if we do not halt the downward spiral,” Obasanjo stressed.

Romance / My Uncle's Wife Is Cheating On Him. Should I Tell? by John311: 5:15pm On Sep 06, 2012
Got this from a Blog... decide to share..

I arrived Lagos about three months ago to stay with my uncle and his wife, who's an Ibo woman. By the way my uncle is from Edo State and their marriage is about four years without kids. In the last week of August my bros travelled to the North on official business and something happened in his bedroom.

I came back that day because I could not meet up a job appointment in Igando area due to heavy traffic. I was reluctant to return home since I had just left but I couldn't think of a better place to go so I headed home. On getting to our compound, I didn't find the gate man at his post and I was even angry because of the security risk of him leaving the gate open like that.

But something got me worried when I saw the gate man's sandals right inside our sitting room. I just told myself that something is going between the my uncle's wife and this dirty boy. I was right, when I moved close to the window of my uncle's bedroom I started hearing screams of sexual pleasure from his wife. I tried to peep into the room but it was difficult because of the protector.

So, I summoned courage and walk to the door as if I wanted to tell my uncle's wife that I was back. I opened the door and caught the adulterous woman red-handed under the dirty gate man (boy). Sadly, the gate man was already ejaculating so he couldn't get up immediately, it took him few seconds to jump off and grab his clothes.

I simply walked away and returned to the sitting room, pretending to be watching a programme on the TV. Few minutes later my uncle's wife joined me and started begging that it would not happen again. I didn't say a word but when she kept pressing I said ok I've heard. Later she brought food for me but I refused it and since then she has been putting pressure on me.

The unfortunate thing is now she even wants me to sleep with her as an assurance that I wont tell my uncle, always coming to my room half naked. Because of this I've not eating in the house in the last one week, I'm almost going broke already.

My uncle may be back next week. I will like people with more experience to tell me what to do when he comes back. Should I tell my uncle the kind of wife he married or quietly move out?
