BusinessBeware People Uses Fake Naira Note To Steal at Atm by johndik(op): 4:17am On Jul 29, 2018
Last week I went to use the ATM
I got there and looked around ,joined the
long queue
, a young lady came to meet me and asked
how much I want to withdraw she said she
over withdrew money
She was supposed to withdraw 3k but
mistakenly pressed 10k
She will give me 7k cash , I will transfer it
to her account.
This is what shocked me
I have been standing on the queue for
approximately 5mins and I never saw this
woman around that ATM, she wasn't on the
queue, she never made any withdrawal,
Which ATM did she use in getting the 10k?
I told her I will wait for my turn, she left
my side, I asked the man in my front, did
you see this lady around?
I wanted to point her but the babe had
disappeared, I didn't see her again.
I told the man what she said and he
laughed. He said it is an old logic
They come with fake naira notes claiming
they mistakenly pressed and withdraw the
wrong amount
When you are in a hurry to leave the long
queue, you transfer the money to them
and they give you cash
You leave happily thinking you have
escaped long queue, go to wherever to buy
something with the money and realise you
were given fake money
The man called it Old logic but what saved
me was my keen observation, she looked
so innocent and pretty, you won't even
suspect a thing
I am sure someone out there is hearing
about this stealing logic for the first time ,I
am also sure I came late to the party
But it doesn't still hurt to inform others
how people take advantage of everything.

Science/TechnologyHow To Stop Or Cancel Data Auto- Renewal On Mtn, Glo, 9mobile And Airtel by johndik(op):
Today, i will be showing you different
ways
to opt out of any data plan auto-renewal
on any network in Nigeria. We all know
auto-renewal could be annoying
sometimes especially when you are
broke
and your network provider now deduct
the
remaining airtel in your account.
Data auto-renewal feature allows you to
automatically re-subscribe for a current
data plan without having to resend
same
USSD or SMS. It saves time and energy in
subscribing in the future.
The worst thing a network operator
could
do to invoke the anger of any
subscribers,
is by activating data auto-renewal
feature
in order to keep deducting the
subscribers
money/credit for future subscription to
that particular data plan previously
activated. Though, it's favourable in
some
cases but like a thorn to the flesh in
some
cases.
In the case where it can be a thorn to
the
flesh is when the subscriber doesn't or
have probably forgotten the code to
stop
or cancel the auto-renewal.
The latest Glo data plans has benefits in
auto renewing of data, where a user will
enjoy 100% double data on any data
plan
auto renewed.
So, if you are looking for how to cancel,
stop and deactivate data auto-renewal
on
MTN, Glo, 9mobile and Airtel , this article
will definitely help you with the simplest
methods.
How to Cancel, Stop and Deactivate
auto-
renewal on MTN Network
MTN auto-renewal happens on any of
the
data plans. It has two methods in
deactivating the auto-renewal: by using
the data plan USSD code or general auto-
renewal deactivating code.
To deactivate, stop or cancel auto-
renewal
on MTN, kindly go to your SMS and
sendSTOPDATA to 131 which is the
general
method.
Another way to deactivate a particular
data
plan on MTN is by sending NO+code to
131
e.g NO103 to 131 as a text message. The
"103" is the code used in activating the
data plan.
So, one out of the two methods must
surely work and you will be
automatically
free from the unnecessary deduction of
your credit for re-subscribing a future
data
plan.
How to Cancel, Stop and Deactivate
auto-
renewal on 9mobile Network
Thanks to 9mobile for their general
USSD
code in deactivating auto-renewal of any
data plans. It's so amazing and perfect.
To deactivate, stop, cancel and terminate
data auto-renewal on 9mobile, simply
dial*229 *0# and amazingly, your work
is
done successfully. This means that you
have successfully opted out of the auto-
renewal.
How to Cancel, Stop and Deactivate
auto-
renewal on Airtel Network
Airtel also has a special code in
deactivating
auto-renewal of their data plans. This
generalized code to stop any unusual
deducting of credit for auto-renewal will
definitely help you.
To deactivate, cancel, stop and terminate
data auto-renewal on Airtel network,
simply send STOP to 141 and any auto-
renewal activated on your SIM, will end
immediately.
How to Cancel, Stop and Deactivate
auto-
renewal on Glo network
Glo - grandmasters of data plans, also
have
a special code in deactivating auto-
renewal
of data plans. It's simply done via text
message.
To deactivate, stop, cancel and terminate
data auto-renewal on Glo network,
kindly
send CANCEL to 127 as text message.
That's
all.
Congrats! You are done with the job in
deactivating auto-renewal on any of the
best four GSM networks in Nigeria. The
auto-renewal feature has merits and
demerits, that's why users suffer
unusual
deduction of their credit while some
enjoys
the feature

PhonesBroken Touchpad On Your Android Phone? Use This app On-screen Navigation Bar by johndik(op): 7:01pm On Apr 18, 2018
First of all click here download the Adroid app

If your mechanical home button or capacitive navigation keys are on the fritz, doing something as simple as navigating your phone's interface becomes a tedious chore. In this situation, some users have turned to root mods that enable Android's software navigation bar to solve the problem, but not everyone is willing or able to root their device.

Thankfully, developer Daxia has created an app that enables on-screen navigation buttons without requiring root access. It's fairly simple to set up, too, so if your hardware buttons are broken, you can easily enable Android's nav bar and get soft keys in no time.

Step 1Install Virtual SoftKeys

To get this one going, start by installing an app called Virtual SoftKeys (no root) from the Google Play Store.

Install Virtual SoftKeys for free from the Google Play Store

Step 2Enable Additional Permissions

Open the app, and you'll be prompted to grant a pair of additional permissions. For most users, the "Draw over other apps" permission should be enabled by default, but if it isn't, simply follow the prompts to get this feature turned on.

From there, tap the "Go to Settings" button on the popup that appears when you launch the app. Next, select the VirtualSoftKeys entry from Android's Accessibility menu, then enable the service using the switch at the top of the screen. Finally, press "OK" on the popup to confirm your choice.
Step 3Adjust Settings for Your on-Screen Buttons

Head back to the Virtual SoftKeys app so that you can tweak the look and feel of your on-screen buttons. From here, you'll notice a semi-transparent red bar across the bottom of your screen—this is the trigger area for showing and hiding the soft keys. The keys appear when you swipe up on this area, then they disappear when you swipe down.

If you'd like to make this trigger area larger, use the "Gesture height" slider. Aside from that, there are a few other customization options worth checking out, but the main one I'd recommend changing is the one labeled "Smart hidden." With this turned on, the on-screen navigation buttons will auto-hide when you're using your keyboard, which means they won't cover up your space bar and the other buttons at the bottom of your keyboard.
Step 4Navigate Your Phone with Software Keys

Once you've got everything configured to your liking, you're ready to navigate your phone using on-screen keys. Remember, just swipe up from the bottom edge of your display when you want to bring up the buttons, then you'll be able to use the back, home, and recent apps keys as if you had a device that came with software buttons. Then, when you need to get the buttons out of your way, just swipe down on the navigation bar, and they'll fade out immediately.

CrimeEfcc Freezes N905million In Account Linked To Rivers State Sanitation Agency by johndik(op): 11:20am On Dec 12, 2017
An account traced to a sole proprietorship company, Rivlink International and having a balance of N905, 941,696.87 has been frozen by the EFCC.
Detective work carried out by the anti corruption agency revealed that the depositor of the money, a certain Christian Robinson is now deceased and the huge inflows into the suspected slush account allegedly came from the Rivers State Environmental Sanitation Authority.
According to the EFCC, Christian Robinson appointed one Kenneth Koroma as the sole signatory but unknown to Koroma, Robinson removed him from being the sole signatory before he died.
Upon Robinson’s death, Koroma tried to withdraw the money but met a brick wall. EFCC sources said:
“The EFCC received an intelligence report on November 2 alleging that a sole proprietorship firm, Rivlink International, had huge inflows from the Rivers State Environmental Sanitation Authority in an account with a new generation bank. The said account had a closing balance of N905, 941,696.87.
The company was registered in 2000 using a fictitious name of one Christian Robinson. But the account was opened in 2001 as sole proprietorship with Mr. Christian Robinson as the sole proprietor.
“He, however, appointed Mr. Kenneth Koroma as the sole signatory to the account for the purpose of money laundering.
“Covert intelligence revealed that the sole proprietor, Christian Robinson, is deceased and the trustee, Kenneth Koroma, has been making frantic efforts to withdraw the funds, which had been on fixed deposit.
“Sometimes in June 2017, Koroma wrote the bank requesting it to liquidate the fixed deposit and transfer the balance to an account number 0037907856 of a company, OLF Enterprise, also operated by him.
“Unknown to Koroma, the proprietor had changed him as a signatory to Rivlink International’s account before he died.
“The bank insisted that it could not release the N905m to Koroma because he had ceased to be the sole signatory to the account of Rivlink International. Relevant documents were shown to him on how the owner of the company effected the change of signatory.
“Following intelligence report and an alarm by the bank, EFCC detectives decided to trace the inflows into the company’s account.
“We discovered that the inflows were coming in bits into the account of Rivlink over the years from the sanitation agency without any evidence of contracts carried out.
“We are suspecting the account to be a slush type which cannot be operated again because the sole proprietor is dead.
“Further inquiry to ascertain the legitimacy or otherwise of the said funds is in progress. However, the EFCC has obtained a Freeze Order from the court pending the outcome of ongoing investigation.”

PoliticsLibya Slave Trade: Why Nigerians Cannot Sue Libya Government – Falana by johndik(op): 9:12am On Dec 12, 2017
Senior Advocate of Nigeria, Femi Falana (SAN) had on Sunday explained why it will be difficult for aggrieved Nigerians, who are victims of slavery to sue the government of Libya.
Mr. Falana explained that unless the government deposits its declaration with the registry of the African Court on Human and Peoples Rights at the court’s registry in Arusa, Tanzania, it will be impossible for aggrieved citizens to achieve the quest for Justice over the atrocities done to them in Libya.
However, he gave the Federal Government till December 31 to deposit its declaration accepting the court’s jurisdiction.
According to Falana, “if this request is not granted before December 31, 2017, I will not hesitate to approach the Federal High Court for an order of mandamus to compel the Federal Government to deposit the declaration at the registry of the African Court with a view to empowering Nigerian citizens to secure the enforcement of their human rights in the African Court on Human and Peoples’ Rights”.
“The government should demand for payment of monetary damages by the Libyan government to the victims in view of the facts and circumstances of the illegal human trafficking in Libya.
“Libya has not formally accepted the jurisdictional competence of the African Court unless victims of the illegal slave trade could have submitted a petition to the African Commission on Human and Peoples Rights”, he said.
The Senior Advocate noted that over the past 20 years, his law office had been inundated with complaints from Nigerians who were brutalised in some African countries.
“We, the embassy of Nigeria in Tripoli, Libya, have been doing our best to register Nigerians. We have visited the detention camps, and also, collaborated with the International Organisation for Migration (IOM) to repatriate migrants weekly.
“There are various camps in the regions of South, West and East of Libya. Camps in the other regions are known but inaccessible camps due to the challenges of going into these camps as a communication chain is required before we can reach them,”
The envoy also called for the provision of a bigger aircraft to evacuate Nigerians who have agreed to come back home and to better fund its embassy in Libya and send the aircraft. We have made our request for that,”.

CelebritiesSinger Orezi Reveals Last Time He Had Sex by johndik(op): 9:03am On Dec 12, 2017
Rave of the moment and dancehall singer, Esegine Allen, othwerwise known as Orezi, has claimed that he has not had sex in the past one year.
Orezi, 31-year-old told Punch that it has not been easy staying away from women for 12 months due to his relationship status.
He said, “I am not in a relationship at the moment because I have yet to meet a lady I like. I have been single for about a year now and I have not had sex with any woman since I am not dating anyone. But I must admit that it is not always easy to stay away from women because they compliment us.
“If you are not successful, women will not come after you. I am aware that I must get married someday, but I don’t know when because I must plan things well. No doubt, there is pressure from my father and mother, but I believe it will happen at the right time.”
“In as much as we have promiscuous women in Nigeria, I believe we have the good ones too. But the truth is everyone cannot be good. Even in the Bible, we have good and bad people. In the church too, we have bad and good women,” he said.
