Zerray, I just sent you a mail request. Kindly check and accept. |
I just saw this too and I was like damn! that's how to get a job right there. |
coolbibz: Yeah, I'm in camp & done with registeration, thank you. How can I get to be a part of the OBS?easy to be part of obs. Just go to obs, pick up the form, fill it. You'll specify what you can do for obs. It ranges from newscasting to presenting to editing to sports to MCing/event planning to DCA. When you get the form, you'll see a number at the top left corner of your form, let me know that number, I'll get across to you from there in camp. |
zerray: pls ppl in camp hw many photocopy nd passport?zerray, are you in camp yet? |
coolbibz: I've been on the road for about 11 hours and still counting. If only I knew...ndoo. Are you in camp yet? |
coolbibz: Abeg keep better bed space for me lolthank you. Bed space... Lool. Electricity is alright. There was light yesterday night. Electricity is cool. Although you may have to charge your phones at the mammy market. No sockets in the hostels as such and the spaces in the multi-purpose hall are few for charging. Just have it in mind that you'll charge at the mammy market (by paying 50 naira or by making friends and charging for free ). The choice is yours sha. Network is cool. As at yesterday, glo was alright, airtel was cool and etisalat was okay too (fluctuating tho), it will get worse when the number of people increases... I hope to see you too. |
Live from camp.... Looking lively. Impressive turnout... People are trooping in. If I have time, I'll upload some pictures I took today in camp |
noblej007: @JohnGalt pls how do i contact u?? rili urgent....!I have replied your mail. |
zerray: lol on twitter right? woow small worldyeah very small |
zerray: nd why did u call me osasere?lool. Because I know you. When I first saw zerray, It sounded familiar until I checked your profile and saw your twitter handle and I confirmed. You've been following me for a long time and i likewise. |
osahonmk: I hope so too... tanks will be leavin lag on monday... do u know any hotel arund d camp I can lodge... so dat by Tuesday mornin will be in camp don't wanna rush.... and can I have ur contact... tanks once again hope to seee yaas I said, if you need a lodge "close" to camp. Emphasis on 'close' that will be in Igbere. There's an aptly named "wisdom orientation guest house"... I think it's because of the orientation camp (lol..not sure). Anyway, that can be worked out. You can drop your contact if interested. Will add you up or call you. |
zerray: are there any discent accommodatn in abiaosasere, you are coming to abia. That's cool! Well, depends on where you are posted. I for one have a very comfortable apartment. I didn't take the lodge provided for me by the school. Wasn't comfortable enough for me so I got my own apartment. Cheap, comfortable and secure too. Far better than the ones you'll find in umuahia. Sadly, everyone wants to go to umuahia during camp. Accommodation depends on where you're posted! |
henrywally: @johngalt, this is my no 08184684982, wale from unibadan. pls is it advisable to go to d camp with all my luggage, because i think coming back home after camp is another way of wasting moneyI won't advise you take all your luggage. Safety of your belongings isn't much guaranteed in camp. You can risk it if you don't want to travel back home anyway. You'll normally get a week or 2 weeks break after camp (you'll write an official letter) to go back to get your belongings. The choice is yours to make! |
Also, network.. My airtel has small 3g now.. Don't know if it will work well when people are much in camp sha. MTN is good too. Etisalat is also working. |
Abia camp is nice and Abia generally is a lovely place. I'm inside the camp presently doing some clearing work (part of cds duties). Anyway, camp Abia is lovely. Look forward to enjoying the experience. There'll be lots of people to direct you when coming but just incase you don't get a straight bus, when you get to umuahia, just ask for where you can get buses to Igbere. Take a bus to Igbere. The camp is just before you enter Igbere. You won't miss your way. If you need any other info, you can request, you can drop your pin or phone number. My house is 5 mins walk from camp. If you get to abia early too and don't want to go into camp yet, if you probably want to sight-see, you can be accommodated for the night. I stay just beside the camp. You'll have fun. Abia camp is ready. They brought firewood to cook for you guys yesterday sef.. Lol. You'll have fun. |
When educated people in the 21st century are arguing about a myth created by uncivilized and crude people who lived thousands of years ago, you know something is fundamentally wrong with their system of reason. How would you believe this is a real story? For crying out loud, are you this blind or just deluded and incapable of putting your mental faculties to work? If God exists, he will as much be disappointed in anyone that believes this story as fact yet going ahead to argue about it. Let me see what the 31st century will bring since the 21st century man still can't reason. |
Hemical: there are many sites that can do the same thing. The advantage here is that you don't need to cram the address of any website and don't need to open any website before proceeding to paste there and bringing up a download link. Just adding "ss" does both for you in one straight step. It's the easiest way I've seen to go about it.thank you for this. i was about saying almost the same thing. i think it,s a very easy step and it saves you the stress of remembering addresses you can paste the youtube link to before loading a download page. |
Hope you get it now |
PAPI JAID: Thanks a million times bro but I don't know how to do this on UCBROWSERit's the same thing sir. Just follow what I wrote. Let me show you how it works. This is the link of the nairalander that won the skelewu competition https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IF15wchQdzw&feature=youtube_gdata_player That's the way it was posted in the thread. The real youtube link. If you want to watch it on your phone, just rewrite it as http://www.ssyoutube.com/watch?v=IF15wchQdzw&feature=youtube_gdata_player Note that I have added "ss" after www. That's the only difference. Just make that adjustment and put it in your UCWEB address bar. You can click the links to verify what I'm saying |
Everytime I see a thread with a youtube link, people always complain they can't watch because of their phones and some even go to the extent of asking someone to download it from youtube and upload it somewhere they can download it. I guess this post will solve any problem you can have regardless of your phone. I am putting this here because I feel this is where we get the most youtube links be it big-brother, project fame, music videos, trailers and all. I hope this gets to front page for people who won't get to visit this section and hopefully solve all their youtube palavas. I hope I'm not writing what someone has written before and even if I am, it can't be over-emphasized and besides, I still saw some people complaining some minutes before I decided to write this. HOW TO GO ABOUT IT : Whenever a youtube video is posted, you will always see the link. Something like "www.youtube.com.blablabla", just copy the link and add "ss" between www. and youtube to get something like "www.ssyoutube.com.blablabla". Go to that link and it will bring up a download page for you. You'll see different links; FLV, MP4 and 3GP. Use the 3GP link. It has 3GP 144 and 3GP 240 depending on the quality of video you want to watch. If you want to save megabyte, use the 144 one. Then, download and watch. That's just about all you have to do. Enjoy downloading and I hope I won't see people saying they can't watch youtube links again regardless of your phone as long as you can browse and get on nairaland in the first place. Thanks. |
Matthew briggs: I Lost the opportunity to be sponsored by a relation that worships a false religion to study in an ivy league university in the US.Are you for real? So, the relation told you because you are a christian, he won't sponsor you? How about you tell us what your real relationship is with him. How close are you to him. What is he going through himself. Does he have children? Is he that rich enough to sponsor you? Why should he even sponsor you when you have parents instead of bringing jesus into the issue. Is the relation stingy? I know christian relations who won't even sponsor you. So what's your point? Do you think his only reason is because of religion? Then you are a big joker. Please, you are just a bitter person trying to fuse Jesus into everything Matthew briggs: Didn't get admission for 7 years in a Nigerian university because me and my folks never believed in giving or taking bribe to secure anything or soiling our hands so with no connection or the willingness to engage in admission runs. I took jamb tirelessly. Hehehe.are you really for real? You didn't get admission for 7 years because you don't give bribe? To think some foreigners will read this. What did you score in Jamb? Which school did you apply to? What's the cut-off mark? Did you meet the requirements? Jesus should have made you pass instead of putting you in a position to give bribe. You are a big joker I must say. so, you think this is suffering? I don't think so. I think it's your mentality and the fact that you didn't pass jamb well enough to meet the requirements for 7 years. Are you telling me every student in Nigerian universities bribe people to enter? 7 years? Please, be honest and post all your Jamb scores, your ssce and the cut-off marks for all the courses you chose in †ђξ various years and †ђξ name of †ђξ schools. |
