While he has talent O'Neil decision making is poor.
He's young so he learning.
In the first half , he didn't know what to do with the ball.
As time wore on and pressure mounted he began to understand some.movment of others.
Still needing guidance.
I mean Saka at this age ...has a good decision making abilities that moved him from left back to left winger with reoccurring assists.

On the Kai and VG debates.
Kai is preferred by Arteta bcoz if the system arsenal plays.
VG has good shooting abilities but the EPL does not give U room to begin to pick.your spot. You have to be fluid, have good touches and learn to interchange with other players to beat the low block backline amd offside except you wanna play for Burnley with one direction al.football...jokes.

That said.

I think Arteta can create two types of systems...just that the one suiting VG will require open spaces and most teams playing Arsenal in the EPL will consider a low block back line.
I think our attack is a bit thin with 1 forward needed.

Lush100:
.

Baba let's look at Gykores whole game this season,
You sincere thinking this statement is true..
Apart from the fact that Arteta should improve his confidence by more game time.
The various times he had ..he didn't provide what he expected of him.

Let's just wait and see but let's not be clouded by what we think he will deliver by what he actually delivers

daveP:
Gyokeres is more important than whatever best version Kai can offer Arsenal when it matters most.

Take it or leave it.

iamoyindamola:
Remove Saka and put Eze jare

BlueRayDick:
Gyokeres would've had lesser touch of the ball than Havertz in this game. He would've been choked out of the game.

We need our creatives bringing their A-game for us to break this Leeds mass defense. Gyokeres is not the answer you are looking for ; he won't even get to touch the ball much if he had started this game

iamoyindamola:
We need to invest in attack, these ones are just passing around
No shot on target despite the domination

Shegzdave:
Solid line up except Oyin boy but I hope he performs

mostob:
I actually had the January transfer window in mind when I mentioned those two.

I think you made an excellent point. We should look outside. It'll be easier to get players outside the EPL in January because these EPL clubs wouldn't want to lose their stars

BlueRayDick:
You get. We've not been playing badly this season at all, that Brighton match is like our worse performance in ages. I'm sure it's a performance the players and the coaching staff want to quickly put behind their backs .

As good as our defenders are, they also need to take away lessons from that Brighton game. By now they must have realised that even though David Raya is the best shot stopper in the league, he is still human Afterall. A well drilled shot will beat him sooner or later when the defense don't close down opponents well enough and allow them luxury of picking their angle.

Rice & Bruno Guimaraes partnership lack that fluidity that we've been enjoying in the middle since the start of season. Whatever needs to give, I want to believe Arteta will either find a way for their partnership to work or drop one of them to the bench.

I also think Arteta needs to be make bold decisions when it comes to Saka's recent performance. We all know Saka is the face of Arsenal as far as home grown talent becoming a star is concerned, but sometimes Arteta needs to help him to help himself. I know with time Saka has proven then so far he is still on the pitch , he can always come up with new tricks from his hat, but it will not always work.

Arteta needs to start having thoughts of bringing on Dowman early to come up with magic on that Saka's wing. I don't rate Madueke and don't believe he would be our saviour on Saka's bad days, but I think Dowman has it in him. His performance in that match against Everton last season in the run-off to the title win has convinced me the boy can always bail us out on bad days.

iamoyindamola:
Then we need to start talking about saka, that guy is earning a fortune for such abysmal show this isn't the first time. Someone on x said the reason saka is starting is because of mumuduke and I agreed because he's just slightly better at the moment.
I also love that arteta completely ignored mumuduke for dowman yesterday, he also confirmed they under rated Brighton and I am happy they got punished severely.
The break came at the right time for reset and change of approach going forward

iamoyindamola:
Yes I noticed we have more freedom this season and also creating loads of chances but poor finishing.
We need to package gyokores out by January I have seen enough, this nigga isn't helping himself at all

Lush100:
Saka and Rice needs rest.

Both of them cut their rest to join the club for community shield.
They did not fully get the rest due them.
Madueke suppose up his game.
Him, Eze, VG(even with limited playing time),
Eze is a bit peculiar coz I think he was showing promise in the 10 role except that he doesn't stamp his presence in games when we (need) are looking for a win.

iamoyindamola:
Bowen nko
That guy is not bad at all

iamoyindamola:
My own is i dont want to see eze in that wing again

iamoyindamola:
Omo fofana Dan go Sunderland
Our hope is on rashford berta you no try at all this transfer

iamoyindamola:
I dont know why I feel mikano will be one of them
If we dont sign from Chelsea we never complete transfer

iamoyindamola:
Hopefully

icentauto412:
Still available call or WhatsApp

iamoyindamola:
It's coronation day

mostob:
That they're playing together for the first time doesn't really matter though. That lineup is not that bad but doesn't give assurance like the one we're used to. Let's just observe.

Spy360:
In the starting line up today, 5 were players signed in this window. That's 5/11.

What this means is that, the team was a mess in the past two seasons.

Injuries would have equally ended hopes of a title challenge this year and it did in the past three and we would have been singing the same lamentation songs and calling for the manager's head.

It was injury all the time tbh.

I mean a game we didnt even think about Saka ,Saliba (This Mosqueria guy ,I am really short of words honestly).

My only prayer with Arteta now is balancing, I was really happy he benched Rice yesterday

Whereas in reality, the people we are supposed to be calling out are the owners.

dominique:
Most European clubs have stretched their budget this window and can only get a player on loan with an obligation to buy so as not to violate UEFA's FFP rules. Atalanta don't want that option for Lookman, they want an outright buy but we can't afford to do that. Bayern is also interested but Atalanta is not budging. Only Saudi clubs will buy Martinelli for 60m. If only we had sold him when Bayern Munich came to bid for him in the beginning of the window. He would have been our record sale by now

iamoyindamola:
Arsenal fans going after noni on x
Instead of them to go after the chief instigator

iamoyindamola:
After we suffer for goals last season they want to bring seskô😅😅
