A people deserve the type of leadership they get.

We need to make an example of some of these public office rogues

Nigerians be wise, don't be foolish people, it's only in Nigeria I see sycophants and pawns celebrating when government removes subsidies and take more money from the people.

Sometimes I marvel at the ignorance or naivety of Nigerians, ordinary Nigerians who rush to say government should stop all subsidies...if government stop all subsidies, then what are the people, citizens and owners of the nation getting in this country?

The wealth of the nation is not for politicians alone...we see how politicians budgeted billions for automobiles for themselves, this is because the money in government coffers is too much, so they waste it in extravagant living.

Nigerians don't be foolish, in this democracy setting, a government is to cater for the people with the revenue and wealth of the nation, through subsidies, welfare packages, infrastructure to enhance their social and economic life etc.

Its a pity some Nigerians due to tribal bigotry or political sycophancy, always rejoice when government cancels subsidy...is the wealth of the nation for politicians alone?

Politicians are workers of the people, politicians under democracy are not sheiks or dictators...only in Nigeria will you find house of representatives members buying cars with billions while the people are hungry, yet some pawns and sycophants say the people, the citizens don't deserve nothing.

In America the citizens are paid, government subsidize healthcare and transportation/food etc, same in UK and Arab nations. A resource rich nation like Nigeria must give to the people, politicians must stop treating Nigerians like customers and treat them like citizens, this is a country not a business.

I realized Nigerians are foolish, we think we are sharp, but we are one of the most ignorant citizens in the world. Government owe it to the people to provide welfare and subsidies, from the wealth generated in the nation.

Good, this will reduce costs of printing new notes... spraying notes defaces and damages it quickly, incurring high cost to print new ones.

Government is still subsidising for customers on Band B to E. only Band A customers have just stopped enjoying subsidies.

But it's discrimination and make no sense to supply some people 6 hours power daily...even when some don't even see up to the 6 hours.

This is what FG should be talking about, generating and transmitting more power, so every Nigeria has 24hrs power a day, at that point government can subsidize for low income Nigerians.

Every Nigeria deserves 24hrs power, this is 2024, talk of band A 24hrs, band B 16hrs, band c 12hrs and d 6 hours is nonsense and discriminatory.

Nigerians must benefit from the wealth of the nation, see the Siemens project through and ensure public installation facilities are well guarded and positioned strategically, out of the reach of saboteurs and bandits.

Dollar going down is a welcomed development. Its just unfortunate the CBN is using our foreign reserve to defend the Naira.

It's good to use foreign reserve to protect our economy than leave it perpetually, with Goldman Sachs or HSBC, via IMF/World bank and they will use it to run their commerce, at very low interest to us. Let's use it to expand our economy.

For political office holders, are in office to use public revenue to provide security, food security, social security and economic avenues to prosperity, by ensuring costs of basic necessities are cheap, so the people can have more residual income to save and expand.

For the whole essence of governance and the government, is to take care of the people and make them reach their aspirations, through public structures and avenues.
