It is too much. Federal government owe the people subsidies and welfare...but if they leave it for grade A alone, it's okay. The government must make sure the poor and middle class keep getting subsidy, because the middle class run small businesses that employs the poor and runs the real sector of our economy...80% of Nigerians survive under the real sector. So for the economy to keep being mobilized, people buying and government earning more VAT, the government must subsidize necessities, like food, energy costs, healthcare, housing for the middle class and poor.

You seem to be half smart...the products are derivates of crude, this is neither diesel or PMS, why will Dangote sell them to us when we don't need them?

Of course government as a responsible institution will find ways to ensure the Dangote refinery being in Nigeria, brings down the price of diesel and PMS, because when the price of these energy products reduce in Nigeria, more people can invest in production and manufacturing etc.

Exactly, parrafin fuel, lubricants, even platinum elements, are derivates found in crude.

What people are saying is diesel and PMS will be cheaper from Dangote than from abroad, because costs of freight, insurance, and transportation will be reduced if Dangote sell locally, this will definitely make Dangote fuel cheaper thsn imported ones...It's common sense.

Since fuel is an essential commodity to ease of living and prosperity of our economy, FG can liase with Dangote, either through concession on taxes or other forms, to make Dangote fuel further cheaper for Nigerians.
