US President-elect Joe Biden has won the state of Georgia, the BBC projects, the first Democratic candidate to do so since 1992.

The win solidifies Mr Biden's victory, giving him a total of 306 votes in the electoral college, the system the US uses to choose its president.

President Donald Trump is projected to win North Carolina, reaching 232 votes.

Mr Trump, who has not yet conceded, alluded for the first time to a possible new administration in January.

Looking subdued, the president stopped short of acknowledging his defeat during a briefing of his coronavirus task force at the White House, his first public appearance since his election defeat was projected by US media.

As the country faces growing outbreaks of Covid-19, Mr Trump said he would not impose a lockdown to fight the virus, adding: "Whatever happens in the future, who knows which administration it will be. I guess time will tell."

The president, who did not mention Mr Biden by name, did not take questions from reporters. Pressure is growing on Mr Trump, a Republican, to acknowledge Mr Biden's victory and help prepare the transition from one administration to another.

Already even some few but growing Republican senators have starting to congratulate JoeBiden and trying to prevail on him to concede defeat.

However, the alternative u suggested above is as long as impeashment of Nigerian president.

As it stands now, Trump has lost a considerable key supporters of his administration. He doesn't understand political deplomacy of American foreign policy.

Most recently, his care-free pre coronavirus which had claimed roughly 242,000 American lives was his greatest undoing and this in itself got many of his supporters voted in Bidens favor.

So its unlikely Trump will return to the white house by 20 January,2021.

Recount will only change a few hundreds as a result of human error but to change or upturn any state with winning margin of thousand is impossible.

I hope the doubting Thomases listened to Arkansas and Massachusetts governors today both are Republican governor saying Trump does not have the right to direct federal attorneys to probe election fraud in state that it has not happened in the history of America, that Biden won the election.

The least Trump could ask for is a recount in state the lead of margin is 1% or less which Georgia State has accepted to recount manually but they don't see the result changing to what it is after recount.

A senior republican has asked Trump to concede defeat or fail the second time after recount.
