cos’ he did the needful when he was the senator for Osun west senatorial district for2 years . Not only that he gave the needy during COVID-19 pandemic period in Osun State last year not to talk of other goodies he gave during sallah period. Senator ademola Adeleke is the best man to beat. The best candidate so far Pdp will ever produce in Osun State.

…As PDP condemned attack on its Secretariat.
Candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), during the Osun 2018 governorship election, Senator Ademola Adeleke has told Governor Adegboyega Oyetola to start preparing his handover notes, saying his days as Governor are numbered.
This as the former Senator disclosed that he is ready to flagg off his campaign without blocking those interested in contesting the PDP governorship ticket in the state from gunning for it.
Adeleke who was speaking at a welcome rally organised by the party at its Secretariat in Osogbo urged interested parties to be modest with their campaigns in the interest of peace in the party and state in general.
“The ruling party has messed up the state since coming to power. I am appealing to the Governor, Mr Adegboyega Oyetola to start preparing his handover notes because his days as Governor are numbered.
“I am back and ready to kick start my campaign. PDP belongs to everyone, I can’t stop anyone interested in the party’s ticket from contesting it, but l appeal for decency among everyone for peace within the party and the state”, he said.
PDP Chairman in the state, Mr Sunday Bisi, while welcoming the senator described his courage to pursue more knowledge after he was robbed of victory as courageous and worthy of emulation.
He also warned that the party would not be cowed by violence from anyone, saying no party has monopoly of violence.
“With the additional feat to previous ones in the Social, Economic and Political spheres, you have assured us that you are better positioned to drive the process of growth in our dear State and Nigeria as a whole.”
“Let me use this medium to warm those who feel they can subdue our party with force of violence to desist forthwith. Such vain effort cannot get at us as our courage is too fortified to be discouraged.
“Testing the will of our people through any form of violence of is an effort in futility but stretching it further will backfire. We will not warn you again”, he said.

Osun PDP Condemns Alleged Attack On It's Secretariat...

—Says They Will Not Be Cowed By Violence

Osun State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), has condemned the alleged attack on its Secretariat by hoodlums suspected to be political thugs.

PDP described the attack as an insult on its party saying they would not be cowed by violence.

Hoodlums suspected to be political thugs had attacked the PDP Secretariat located along Bike junction, Osogbo Ikirun road earlier this morning.

The Governorship Candidate of the party during the last gubernatorial election, Senator Ademola Adeleke, who had been out of the country over the years on Tuesday stormed the state in funfairs.

The Chairman of the party, Honourable Sunday Bisi while reacting said “the party strongly condemn the unprovoked attack on its Secretariat by political thugs in a desperate attempt to scare party faithfuls from an important event scheduled to hold on the premises today.

“As a major stakeholder in the affairs of Osun State, committed to law and order, we find the assault on our Secretariat an act of panting cowardice and desperation taken too far. Those who carried out the dastardly act and their backers should be ashamed of themselves because they ended up showing to the world how evil and dangerous they are to our democracy.

“Our journey as a party is a journey to the promised land and no amount of attack or intimidation will scare us away from pursuing the rescue efforts of our dear State from a party that has mismanaged it over the last 10 years. Take it and let it sink, Osun PDP and the good people of Osun State can no longer be intimidated.

“Notwithstanding our resolve to be peaceful in our push for a new Osun we must warn that we won’t condone unprovoked attack on our facilities or members. All political urchins in the hands of rejected looters should take note or they have themselves to blame in the end. This we reiterate, is not a joke.

“We are also by this release call on the state Commissioner of Police, the Director of DSS and other security agencies to immediately set machineries in motion to investigate and track down the source of the attack on our Secretariat and fish the perpetrators.

“As much as it is in the culture of our party supporters to show restraint in the face of the unnecessary provocation,, we ask security agencies to ensure adequate protection of our party’s assets and members. This will ensure confidence of our people in the security agencies to forestall breaking endurance limit of the people.”
